How do you give a correct answer to a question that has already been resolved here? -

I stumbled upon Yahoo answers while researching Casein. (A slowly digested protein.)The question asked was Is drinking casein protein before bed way to lose weight? (Why if not )? The answers provided were completely wrong, and the one voted as Best was the mist misleading of all!Now that the question has been resolved , is there a way to fix it?Despite the bad responses, Casein is perfectly fine for a pre-bed meal. It should NOT be used for after workouts as previously suggested, because it is released far to slowly to be of any use when your body needs a lot of protein for repair and growth. That slow digestion works two ways at night. First, it keeps the digestion process going for several hours, which does indeed consume more calories, (but not enough to be a weight loss program in itself.)Second, the slow release of protein is perfect for avoiding catabolism at night. It provides an ongoing supply of protein so your body wont have to take it from your muscle mass.

Hmm I see your dilemma here and I m proud of you for sticking up for the truth, but I simply do not think there is a way to alter a question once it is resolved. If you really want the asker to be enlightened, try contacting him by email if his/her preferences allow of it.

You may be able to contact the person that asked the question, and give them the correct answer, but I don t think it s possible to erase one that s already been resolved, sorry.

You gotta get on with your life man. There s a whole world out there. You could repost the question as you did but list the actual question. Then, make a comment about it.

I try to contact the person and explain them but it not possible, all the time.

sorry once they are resolved you cant fix it
