Weight Loss Tips to Share? -

Here are some things I have found that work well to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight:1. Exercise often - get your heart rate up for an hour, 5 times per week.2. Drink a tall glass of water 10 minutes before each meal - you will feel full more quickly while eating and thus will eat less.3. Try chewing a piece of gum (sugarless) or brushing your teeth if you get a sweet tooth (you won t think it will work, but it often does!)4. Eat something warm since warm foods make you feel more full than cold foods.5. Limit the amount that you eat at each meal, and instead eat more, smaller meals - you will probably consume fewer calories in a day.6. Decide what you are going to eat for a meal BEFORE you get hungry - we all make poor food choices when we re starving!Do you have any tips to add to this list that have worked for you?

You have some good tips here already! I will add what I can to your list.Eat more fresh raw foods (like fruit and vegetables) Eat more high fiber foods and stick with as much whole grain foods as you can.Eat no more than 1 meal a day with meat in it. Cut back on dairy products Take at least 20min to eat a meal because it takes your body 20 min after it has began to eat to realize its already full. In other words if you eat too quickly (in under 20min) you may be full before you know it.Chew your food very well, chew it till its a soft mush without chunks. This makes digestion and absorbtion of nutriants alot easyer and gives your saliva time to do its full job. Holding a mouthfull of food in your mouth for about about 15 to 20 seconds is enough, eved fruit juice and soup should be swished in your mouth for at least a few seconds.Don t eat out of bordom, instead find something else to do.I am lucky and thankfull to have parents who taught me good eating habits, and how execise is so important. So I have always had a good body weight. I have been vegetarian for 7 years and now for 6 weeks I have been vegan.

all of the above sound great..thank you
