Please..weight loss tips?? =]? -

ok so i am 15, and i want to lose weight. i hate who i am and i gotta change it. I talked to my parents and grandparents about it and my grandparents said they would give me $250 if I lose at least 25 lbs by Christmas. Im so excited, but I need tips. Will drinking water really help me lose weight? and help is greatly appreciated =]

Yes. Drinking lots of water will help a lot. Not only do you stay hydrated, you also keep your tummy full, and you will feel less hungry.Be careful, my young friend. Health is its own reward. It is wonderful that your grandparents are willing to encourage you in this way. Do NOT go overboard, however. Do it SENSIBLY. Sensibly means cut down your calories to a reasonable level. 1200-1500 is about right for a girl your age. Do not dip below 1000.Add in a moderate amount of strength training (i.e., weights ) and cardio (e.g., jump rope, skating, aerobics) at least 3-5 times/week. 30-45 minutes segments are just about right. You can achieve this goal if you make a plan and stick to it.Good luck!~M~

you might want to get with a trainer, but i would suggest not sitting down . stay busy with your hands.eat slowly. it takes awhile for food to reach the tummy and settle in so you can eat 20 minuteslonger than need be stop when you feel that you will be full.i eat only when i want to whatever i want and however much i want.i try to eat things that will be good for me or as close to it as possible. i move around allot. i ride a bicycle almost everywhere i go.i dont just whistle a tune and amble along .i get very busy. i can ride 10 miles in 20-25 minutes.i am 50. i lost 25 lbs in a year. but the best part is it toned my body. ok i have an eight pack ok?i do other excercise but quite a variety.part of staying busy.if you get into the physical world.you ll find that you lkike it and you wont go back.it becomes easy, fun and addictive.break it up but stay busy.you ll eventually discover a basic routine to stay active and when you look back at who you were, you will be proud of yourself .thats what its all about. pride. good luck.

Replacing soda pop with water will definitely help, give eating fast food a rest. Eat light. Pretend you had Gastric bypass, and only eat how much you think they would eat. Most important, Run, Run, and Run some more, and when your tired of running, Run some more. For more ideas, on your yahoo/answers page, in the search box type, weight loss for a 15 year old, click search. Good Luck!

ok i have that problem too....but tha best thing i suggest is...well yew can eat anything and just as long as yew eat small portions of it...drink lotz of water....don t drink soda or anything sweet jus drink water and eat small portions of wutever yew want..

lower the carbohydrate intake, and stay away from sugar and corn syrup. Eat fish and chicken as your primary sources of animal protein and eat plenty of salads....just don t load them up with fattening dressings, try to use some olive oil and vinegar. Drinking water flushes out the fat in the body and helps controll the appetite.

Weight loss pills, excercise, and better eating habits. I do a reduced calorie diet. It helps me stay where I want to be.
