Teen weight loss tips...? -

Im fourteen and very active. Im 5 8 and now 147, which i hae never been this heavy, which is making me seriously depressed. I would think being so active would not make me gain weight, but i want to loose about 25 pounds. I know it is bad but ive tried not eating and that doesnt seem to work either. please give me some tips.please help

the acai berry thing is just an ad by the company... ignore it.Not eating doesn t work because then your body goes into what s called starvation mode and when you finally do eat your body stores it all as fat and doesn t burn it. I d suggest eating 5-6 small meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism going so less food is stored as fat. Don t eat lots of sugars or salts, and make sure your diet is balanced. Cutting out whole food groups won t help. Fruits and veggies instead of sweets, lightly salted nuts instead of chips. A lot of times your body can confuse thirst with hunger, so stay hydrated. Keep a bottle of water with you at all times. You ll have to pee a lot, but it s worth it.As for excercise- cardio is key for burning fat. Running, dancing, swimming, etc. Once you have burned the fat, you can focus more on toning through weight training and ab excercises.Remember- your young and may be going through a growth spurt, so no crazy diets or anything okay? Just try to live a healthier life style, its the only way to lose weight and keep it off. Good luck!! ( =

Please dont listen to the bullshit people are telling you. I ve seen the same acai berry comment and p90x **** on like 352352346246 questions already. Just drink alot of water like 2 glasses for every meal drink green tea like 3 times a day go running for like 45 minutes a day. I Suggest going to the gym or joining one and lift light weights to get tone and boost metabolism. Im telling you that soon you will be very fit. And dont eat any junk food at all just good things dont forget breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. I also suggest eating 4-5 small meals a day and chew as much as u possible can. Loosing weight can be hard but the trick is eat right and sweat sweat SWEAT.

Stick your hand in the back of your mouth and throw up every 4 hours.
