Weight loss tips anybody? -

Alright so I have a little extra poundage on my stomach that will not go away!!! Does anyone have some ideas for getting that stuff off? Also, any tips for slimming down the hips? (I didn t mean to rhyme!!)

I have a great tip that worked for me.See after a meal, I still want to put something else in my mouth :) so I started chewing gum after meals. It helps me to get rid of the desert bug, I mean it s sweat, keeps you from putting anything else in your mouth.Another thing is if you have a bar set the food on it, fill your plate with small portions and then walk to the table to eat.If the food s not right in arms length you are less likely to get seconds. If you live alone, fill a small portion, then put the food up before you eat. It s too much trouble to get it back out for seconds.Avoid donuts, and no trans fats.If high fructose corn syrup is in the first five ingredient of a food, don t eat it.I should know, I went from a size 5 to a 1.

Helpful Tips for weight loss:1)A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watchKeep to a 1,200 food intakeAdd 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) ...and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn t seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight.I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 1272) Most people do not get enough water in their system. Water is your body s principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don t have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. To determine if you are getting enough water use this simple formula.. Take your weight, for example 150 pounds and divide by 2. Take your answer which is 75 lbs and change it to ounces, in this case 75 ounces. That is how many ounces of water you need a day. Your body performs mostly on water. If you make sure you get enough water everyday your body will perform at top notch and your body will no longer have the cravings of junk food. You will have a better performing body system to help you work out and feel better thru out your day

running running running. Running is the best way to tone the entire body. THE ENTIRE BODY! I know it sucks, but it seriously is the quickest BEST way.

Special K and Yoplait!!(and i didn t mean to rhyme either!!)

Just stay away from anything with more than 12g fat, and anything with high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated _______ oil, or enriched flour. Don t count calories, whenever you go out, get a box and take 1/2 to 2/3rd back home, you ll probably end up not wanting them, whereas you would ve just eaten them if they stayed on the plate. Stay under 80 grams fat per day, and get about as many grams protien per pound body weight you have. Start lifting weights if you haven t already.

To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing. As far as a healthy weight , that s what most of the other posts are about (calculating your BMI, diet plans, etc).... but most people will say what the average is according to different opinions. As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight... not that you should be X pounds , but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like thatThat being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more.

i have the same problem and my stomach fat won t go away, either. i went to the gym and asked my trainer for some exercises to make it disappear and she said it sometimes is hereditary and won t ever go away!! Suck it in (which is what i do LOL)and Gooodd luck!!!
