Help! I need to lose weight fast!? -

I m getting married next fall, and I would like to lose about 50 lbs. I haven t even started dress shopping, though, because I feel so uncomfortable with the weight I ve put on. I need to lose weight so I can feel comfortable dress shopping AND make a good decision for what dress I want to wear. Anyone have any good wedding weight loss tips other than diet and exercise? I ve been keeping my calories under 1500 and walking daily for the last month, but I haven t lost a single pound (can you see my frustration)?

I second cocaine. Every porn star snorts cocaine to keep the wait off.

I tell you this at the risk of being highly criticized, so I hope you consider me when assigning the 10 points for the best answer! Haha!Google weight loss clinics in your area. Under the supervision of an MD or nurse practitioner, you can have Phentermine prescribed to you, as long as you qualify health-wise (they ll check you to make sure it s as safe as possible).I ve lost 40 pounds by taking Phen and watching my calories in the past year. It will give you energy and greatly reduce your appetite and cravings.Good luck, and congratulations!

Weight loss tips OTHER than diet and exercise? Eating a healthy and being on a good exercise program is the MAIN thing you need to do to lose weight. I recommend you join a gym, get a personal trainer, and step up your exercise program to include weight training, more cardio, and flexibility. Make sure you eat breakfast every day.Tips other than diet and exercise: Get your thyroid levels checked to make sure you re not hypothyroid. You might want counseling if you are an emotional eater or have emotional issues that might be blocking your weight loss. (E.g. history of sexual abuse.) But mainly what you need to do is eat a healthy, portion-controlled diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and water, low fat protein sources (e.g. beans) and got plenty of exercise.

I got a trainer and lost about 2b a week for 4 months- she pushed me harder than I have ever been pushed and thought me alot about healthy eating - it s not all about calories, it s about getting rid of refined carbs (SUGAR, white flour) and eating lots of protien, veggies and fruit. Weight-training also plays a big role. Lots of water too- google superhydration and you ll see that lots of water is very important for weight loss...I m down 30lb and my waist has gone from 39.5 inches to 30 inches- 3 inches to go till my dress fits- and I have until June

First off, sleep enough, and get off caffeine if you can. Both things cause stress in your body, and if you re stressed you ll have a harder time losing weight.Second, you need to do WAY more than just walking! Join a gym like 24 Hour Fitness or Gold s Gym (both are quite affordable) and take some of their classes... weight lifting, yoga, kick boxing, spinning, etc. You ve got to do stuff that makes you HURT, but in a good way. Try to go 3-5 times a week. The rest is diet. And drinking lots of water. No trick other than that. If you re working out hard you may need to up your calories... but do it by adding healthy stuff to your diet. For example, a fruit smoothie with rice milk, plain yogurt, or all fruit. I always have some kind of fruit smoothie before I work out.

Diet and excersise is the only healthy way to do it. You have plenty of time! You have about a year to do it, and if you lose atleast 2 pounds a week you ll be ready in 6 months! Just let your new body in a beautiful wedding gown be your inspiration and if possible, only eat at home, because eating out can pack on the pounds. I was in the same situation, and trust me it works! Good luck!

First of all, eat a lot of fiber...it is good for you and it helps to keep you full (my personal favorites are chili beans, refried beans (fat free), avocados, fiber one bars and fiber one yogurt). Google foods high in fiber and i m sure you will find foods that you like. Second of all, challenge yourself. Walking is good, but jogging is better. Start with just 2 minutes of jogging then walk for 5 minutes. To motivate you, sign up for a run (5K is only 3.2 miles). Get someone else to do it with you too so that you can motivate each other. You will progress to longer runs...and trust me, nothing feels better than when you cross a finish line!!Hope these are good tips!good luck!!

It s great that you re counting calories but you need to count what those calories are composed of. Stay away from ALL sugars, especially sodas because they blow up your stomach and cause you to eat more than you normally would. Also refrain from white breads, rice, pasta, potatoes and really any starches. Make sure you are eating 3-4 meals a day with plenty of protein and fiber. Try fiber pills. Also hydration hydration hydration! Then work out til you break a sweat at least 3-4 times a week and don t forget weight lifting. I have been doing this since June and have lost 40 lbs. for the big day in December.

It has to do with what is in those 1500 calories...find ways to cut sugar, and eat lots of wholesome foods. Another thing is making sure you are drinking enough water: not only will it help you keep from retaining water, but it will make your skin look fantastic! And maybe toss in some muscle-toning work outs: 3 times a week, toss in some ab work, and get some 5lb free weights and do some circuits with those-a light weight with lots of reps will slim and tighten your muscles without making them bulky-and then you ll get some fantastic looking arms to go with that dress! :)

You need to eat breakfast. When you eat breakfast it speeds up you daily fat burn off. Do not eat large meals the rest of the day and do not eat 2 hours before bed and no soda and watch your bread and sugar intake. Exercise, Yoga is graet and walking do not for get laot of water. drinking water is like washing your hands it helps clean old the body. Have a wonderful life

Well even though ur eating the right amount of calories, u may be eating to much fat. Walking is good exercise but if u wanna lose weight u should try jogging or running. And its good to eat a big breakfast and a small dinner if u want to lose weight, and try not too snack too much

A lot of people swear by the Nutrisystem diet. I would suggest it, or weight watchers, because it helps you by suggesting a diet based on YOUR needs.Eat protein and lean meat. Avoid sugary junk and sodas.Lots of water! Exercise! Don t WALK, you have to keep your heartrate up to burn calories! Find a gym with a treadmill and use the cardio program.

drink redlines... increase metabo and supress hunger. honestly weight training is king for weight loss. jogging and walking wont do anything.

get a dress that fits you. the man is marryin you so you dont have to worry bout what he thinks. and your family and friends already know how you look. so just get a dress that looks beautiful on you :)

Try more intense workouts, walking really doesn t burn that many calories. You should try riding your bike or running.

Count calories, work out an hour a day, and drink a protei shake immediately after workout.

good question.. I am not fat, but want to lose the extra pounds that I ve put on over the years....

1 Dietary Balance and reading labels: watch what you eat, and expend more energy than you consume. Its really that simple. This involves some calculation. The approximate normal daily caloric requirement for an average male who performs light activity is 2,200; for a female, it is 1,900.Do the math. Eat less and eat at least five meals a day. Your actual caloric requirement can differ depending on your height, weight, activity level and your body s metabolic rate.http://knowdiet.blogspot.com/2 Identify your exercise. No exercise was created equal. You might like running, so run. You might like jogging, so jog. You might like stationary bikes, so bike stationary. Find the one that works best for you. Dont pick a routine that you dont like and wont stick with it for long. http://knowexercise.blogspot.com/3 Try yoga. Yoga is one of the best ways of losing weight. Of course I cant go into a full lecture about yoga over here but I can tell you that I have never seen people with better-toned bodies than those who practice yoga. One of the benefits of yoga is that you learn to control virtually every muscle and joint of your body so that the issue of weight gain will cease to exist.http://knowingyoga.blogspot.com/4 Photos and Joining online support group : Take before and after photos. Hi!Have you ever heard of Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet program? It s one of the most sellable e-books ever written that talks about losing fat easily and quickly. If you wish, you can check it all out, theres a link to a great blog in my source. So, what is in it?Generally, the Fat Loss for Idiots is a guide to losing weight and fat as the name implies. In the book, you will be able to read the rules involved in weight loss. These rules, also known as 10 Idiot Proof Rules of Weight Loss are easy to understand and follow as they are stated in the simplest terms. Another thing that the e-book contains is the diet generator. The book will give you meal plans that will last you for 11 days. So for each day, the book has a menu for you to follow. What does it promise?Fat Loss for Idiots promises a lot of things. For the most part, it promises to make you really lose weight. To be specific, the ebook is able to make you lose 9 pounds every eleven days. Another big promise the ebook gives is that it can make you lose weight using a healthy meal plan. Many weight lose plans make you lose weight by skipping and scrimping on some things that your body needs such as fat. With the ebook, you can be sure that you won t be having any of this. As a matter of fact, it will give you a menu of foods that are complete of the nutrients that your body needs. With this, you can be sure that even if you are losing weight, you are also well nourished.Another thing that the ebook promises is that it makes room for those who are on a vegetarian diet. Unlike other weight loss guides that specifically tell you certain things such as forcing you to eat meat, the Fat Loss for Idiots respects your diet preferences. With this, anybody can take part of the program. The best weight control diet allows you to eat the foods that you would normally eat, have in your refrigerator and cabinets. By timing when you eat certain foods, how many times a day you eat them, and balancing the types of food, your metabolism will burn what you take in and then some, because it knows you will be feeding it again shortly, instead of starving.Check out my source C theres a blog all about this diet with tons of info. Hope it works for you! Good luck!

hey... janet here.. hopefully my own personally story can be of some guidance/help to you..I m 5 8 and at the time I was about 220 lbs.. and was trying real hard to lose weight for almost 8 months... i just had a baby girl at the time.. and during my pregnancy i gained a tonnnn of weight and much of it stuck with me after she was born, and the hubby began getting on my case and bothering me non stop about my new weight problem... so after a few months of that, it really started getting to me, plus summer was about to get here- and i love the beach! So i decided to try and do something about it... ive since tried almost every diet system out there... the standard eat less-exercise more change lifestyle diet, south beach, atkins, slimfast, weight watchers, etc... I also tried taking many different weight loss supplements.. and overall nothing has really worked well for me.... But i came across this diet program http://www.fatloss.pcti-system.com .. which a couple of my girlfriends put me onto, and it worked amazing for me like nothing else has.Right now I m only 180 lbs.. I m still overweight but I ve already lost 40 pounds and I m well on my way to my goal of 160 lbs.. I hope i was of some help.. I wish you all the best of luck!

Sign up for weight watchers. It looks like you have about a year to lose the weight, so it actually isn t that much, as you want to lose it at about one pound per week. The amount of calories you need to take in to lose weight depends on a lot of factors, such as your height, your current weight and your metabolism. Weight watchers maps all that stuff out for you. There are also some free websites that are helpful, like mydailyplate.com. I haven t used that one in a while, but i liked it. You do probably want to start looking at dresses, because they can take a while to make. While 50 pounds will definitely change the size, it is always much easier to take a dress in than let it out. According to the seamstress who works at the bridal shop I go to, a good seamstress can take a dress the equivalent of about 4 sizes, which is like taking a size 10 to a size 4, so it is totally do-able! You don t want to get stuck where your dream dress takes 12 weeks to make, and you only have 6 weeks until your wedding. Also, I would suggest going to your doctor and having your thyroid levels checked. I speak from experience here. I personally have thyroid problems, and when it is too slow (hypothyroid) weight loss is extremely difficult. The good news is that if it is a thyroid problem, it is really easy to fix, with a pill which is relatively inexpensive! Another tip I would offer, and this is something that I struggle with. I lose inches much more quickly than I lose pounds when I work out. So I measure in inches (which is what everyone sees anyway), so that I can see my progress. Remember, Muscle is heavier than fat, but it is leaner and much healthier! It weighs more, but is much more compact. You may just be converting fat to muscle. The good news is that muscle burns more calories, so you will start to lose soon! Keep up the good work, and CONGRATS!
