Weight loss tips anyone? 235 lbs and need help.? -

You don t need tips, you need to make a lifestyle change. Do a search here on Y!A for how do I lose weight and you ll find all the many times the question has been asked, and see if any of those replies are helpful (it s a great feature!).DO NOT drop your daily calorie intake below 1200 without a doctor s supervision. Eating 4 - 6 small meals a day will cause your body to burn more calories than 3 meals a day (if you consume the same # of calories). Eat a well balanced diet...fruits and veggies, lean meat, complex carbs, healthy fats, drink lots of water, and exercise 5 days a week (go for 1 hr a day). http://www.freedieting.com/tools/ideal_b This site has calculators to help you determine your ideal weight, your BMI, how many calories you need to eat to lose or maintain weight, and more. Do it right...lose it once and keep it off. Take care of you. I topped out at 232 years ago so I know how it feels...Good luck!

Everyone s body is different and everyone s personality is different. That s one reason why there are so many diets, each with adherents who swear it s the only one that s ever worked for them.If I were you, I d start by looking at some web sites with info on fitness and weight loss and see what you think makes sense for you. There s no point in starting a program that you won t stick with. Here s a site I recommend - http://www.fitnessprogramsrevealed.com/f

One site I find very helpful for me is sparkpeople.com. You can track everything you eat to make sure you are eating healthier, where you tend to mess up and if you are staying within your calorie range to lose weight. There is also a fitness tracker so you can see if you are getting the exercise you need. They are good at making goals, longterm and shortterm, and have a lot of groups for support. Hope this helps and good luck with everything!

First off Karal A. gives the same answer for all these questions. Kinda Strange. Weight Watchers, I lost 30 pounds in a month. Excercise alot. Start out at 1-2 miles a day and work you way up. Tone, but give your body a day in between to rebuild your muscle. To be healthy you need to walk at least 9 miles a week. Eat your minimum amount of points, trust me. Make sure you do. Oh, the first couple of days you will feel like you are starving, but you will get to were you are to stuffed to eat the mininmum. Drink alot of water. If you are big on meat and cheese then carb. Cut out all your carbs and eat as much as you want. Both diets are very simple and effective. I am carbing and have lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. Do which ever, but do something. You will feel good about yourself. Oh, you can join an aerobics class to, they make you very energetic. Good Luck!

Eating a healthy diet with regular exercise will help you lose weight. Try walking/jogging/running for 30-60 minutes, 4-5 times a week. Do situps and crunches. Be persistent and you should achieve your goals.
