What kinds of foods make you lose weight faster? -

Is their foods that make your metabolism increase?

No such thing.This is another example of quackery and pseudo-science.As the first answerer (Some Geek) rightly said, the effect upon metabolism is negligible.You will lose weight when your energy-food (carbohydrates and fats) intake is less than your energy usage.Look here:

yes, green tea make metabolism faster and also spicy foods and papaya. for me, egg and tuna are the best foods for losing weight. as well as veggies. tuna has 0 carb in it and few on eggs, but i prefer if u boil the egg.and don t forget tons of water.

As a general rule, unprocessed foods will always be the healthiest; Eat all you want of natural fruits, nuts, and vegetables. Stay away from red meat, sugars and condiments. Always choose whole wheat bread over white or flour, and choose lowfat or soymilk over whole milk. Its that easy.

The ones you eat while running XDI ve asked this question over at Self Service Science and they continuously tell me that not only do most foods have little impact on teh metabolism (rather its how and when and how much you eat) but what effect they do have is so minimal that its not worth the bother.

You may not have expected a real answer, but here goes...After trying for 10 years. I finally lost 150+ lbs (12 stone) and kept it off for over 3 years now. green tea, wow i ve said it so many times lol you d think i have like stocks in it or something. If you want to go extreme tuna with mustard instead of mayo or at least half and half. Mustard has chemicals that promote fat oxidation.

Vegetables amd foods within the glycemic index. Nutrisystem carries those. Also, I read somewhere that if you eat 5-6 small meals a day, it keeps your metabolism going more than eating 3 large meals a day. Metabolism is what burns calories.

a good way to loose weight is a diabetic diet. This can be found by going to, www.discovery.com/health and typing in diabetic, then diet. diabetics have to eat 3x day. and a rounded square meal. depending on how many calories they r taking in. when u know the amount of calories u want to take in,loosing weight i would suggest 1600 daily with a diabetic snack at 9:00 to finish your calories. this will aid in not making u feel so hungry before bedtime
