How to lose weight on your back and stomach? -

Ok so my legs are pretty skinny. My problem is my back and stomach. Whenever I exercise my legs get skinnier and it seems like all the weight either goes to my back or stomach. When I tighten my stomach it s all hard, is that just fat underneath? My problem areas are my lower back, obliques, and my lower stomach. What can I do to get rid of all that in 2-3 weeks minimum?Thank- You.

You cannot lose weight from just certain body areas. Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we ve known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one. In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. Vary your routines. Don t eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. You will lose weight much more efficiently if you mix things up from time to time so that your body doesn t adjust to any one routine. An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc.

Most people make weight loss more difficult than it actually is and worse, many people actually believe that weight loss is some thing that is almost impossible to achieve. A simple re-ordering of your diet and exercise should help you shed a lot of pounds. I have written a lengthy article that lists certain related answers for your specific question. You can view the page here http://loseweightblogger.blogspot.com/ . Hope that helps, please do let me know of your progress.

You cannot spot reduce fat. It has been proven. When you lose fat, it comes off last where it was first put on. Check to make sure that you re in a healthy weight zone for your height. If so, I would just tone the muscles and not try to lose weight. When your stomach is hard, that s the muscle, not the fat.

The best thing you can do is to watch what you eat and do cardio. The number thing though is to get your diet in check. When I say diet, I don t necessarily mean you have to lose weight. You just have to eat properly and avoid fatty and refined carbohydrates.

Walk/Cycling 30 minutes every afternoonit help you reduce some fatset your eat patternIf you want to eat in the night, eat boiled potatoes/corn

ur back fat is jus extra fat. the only way 2 get rid of that is 2 eat less. and unless u eat accordingly then exercise. as for ur stomach, that can go away if u do crunches. like situps for example.

Back extensions, Oblique V-ups, and Bent-leg knee raises. If I were you I d do a internet serach for lower ab exercises.

a good lower cal diet and cardio are how u lose fat, any fat. u cant focus ur fat loss to a specific area. 2-3 week isnt much time though

try 7 minute abs, google it

jump rope no joke it really helps u get back in shape and it a good work out or u can do sit ups about like 30 a day

Good weight loss tips? -

Me end my friend are starting cardio and yoga classes. what else should we do?

That s excellent that you guys are doing cardio -- it s the most effective form of weight loss. What I do along with exercise is portion control. Instead of going back for seconds, I stick with my one portion of food. I also eat several very small meals throughout the day to give my motabolism a boost, instead of three regular-sized meals. Also, I don t snack on junk food. Instead, I ll have a little cup of yogurt or a few pieces of cheese or some fruits/veggies. All healthy choices. Good luck to both of you!! ^_^!!

Hi,I developed my own diet because the other diets did not seem to make sense to me, I am a great believer in common sense.I believe that the hunger sensation we feel indicates that our body is starting to consume the fat it has stored in reserve (you definitely WOULD feel this sensation if it was happening wouldn t you?)So let yourself feel hungry from time to time and when you DO eat, NEVER fill yourself or your body will store the excess as fat. Also eat what you feel like eating but keep the volume down.Good luckStephen BirchallAuthor of The Birchall Diet

How to lose weight fast and healthy after coming off anti depressants? -

Help because I gained 20 lbs and maybe lost 5 when I came off and now I am at a halt and I need help. I work out generally and walk a lot but it s still not helping me.

clean up your diet. Eat less per meal, but eat a meal every 2-3 hrs. Drink at least 1/2 your bodyweight in oz of water per day. Take a good organic multivitamin. Walk/exercise/lift weights at least 4x/wk.Tom Venuto wrote an ebook that is pretty much the bible of weight loss and maintenance. It s used by fitness and bodybuilders everywhere (the bulk of the body builders comes from their workouts, not only their diets, so don t let that stop you from checking that out).http://www.burnthefat.com/http://bmiller8.qhealthzone.com/productshttp://bmiller8.qhealthzone.com/productshttp://bmiller8.qhealthzone.com/products

How to lose weight in 1 month? -

well i want to lose weight in 1 month im a female 5 6 140 somethin poundsi dont have to time to extercise cuz it cold and theres snow . i want to lose cuz ppl these days are so mean and i really feel bad about myself. and my family really dosent help at all

Actually, you re at a healthy weight. (I m 12 and 142). But that really doesn t stop kids/teens from wanting to lose weight. So here is some information that will probably help.*Just because it s cold oustide doesn t mean you can t do exercise insideThere are a ton of great exercises to do inside. Yoga, jumproping, aerobics, weight lifting, running in place, etc. are just some examples. It is recommended to do about 30 minutes of exercises AT LEAST 3 times a week. You need to do vigorous exercises too. (Fast aerobics, etc.)*Eat rightFruits and vegetables are two of the most important things to eat when trying to lose weight. You should also eat a lot of fiber. Try not to eat as much junk or processed foods. Read the nutrition labels and calculate how many calories you will be eating.*Don t eat past 7:00 p.m.When you eat past 7:00 p.m., that is usually the slower time of night when your body doesn t work as hard. So all of the calories that you eat will turn to fat. If you get hungry, drink a lot of water or eat a small snack that s very filling. *Drink tons of waterWater is THE most important thing in your diet. About eight cups of it is recommended in a day. A lot of the weight you lose may be water weight. Use water to keey hydrated during the day.*Figure out how many calories you want to eat in a dayThere are websites with calorie calculators and calorie recommendations for kids and teens. You want to find out how much you eat in a day. Just follow a simple rule: Burn more calories than you consume daily, and you should lose weight. Set a goal for yourself, say 1,500 calories. So you should burn more than however many you eat, say 1,300. It can be tough, though. Here are some calculators.http://www.ivillage.co.uk/health/healthc *If you re family won t help, do it yourselfThis can often be a difficult thing to do. Someone helping and motivating you can help you out, but it can be done by yourself. If you re motivated enough and you have good intentions, you can do anything you want to, including losing weight. Another thing you can try to do is talk with a friend and see if they will do it with you. If they don t want to, you re on your own.*Have a good motivationIf you don t have a good motivation, you aren t going to get anywhere. You ll give up after a couple weeks or even after a couple days. A strong motivation will keep you going before and after you reach your goal.*Muscle weighs more than fatYou have to remember that muscle weighs more than fat. So if you re doing a lot of weight lifting, you re going to actually gain weight, but losing fat. This can often be deceiving. One reason anorexic and bulimic people lose so much weight is because they lose muscle. But you WANT muscle.Losing weight is not as hard as it sounds. For some people it s easier. If you re younger it s easier for older people, of course, because when you re older your metabolism slows down. I hope this information was helpful.Good luck and stay motivated!

Wow idk if this helped you out...but it did to me..I need to lose weight fast bc Im getting married in 2 months...I m ok (5 5 120lbs) but I want to drop atleast 10lbs. to get rid of those little rolls i have...and not be subconscience when i wear a bikini...Thank you Thank you!!!!!!!!!! Lots of fiber. fruit not fruit juice, juice has lots of sugar carbs. high fiber fruit. veggies, salads.easy on dressings.Use splendor in place of sugar. If you have the $ join a gym,or a ymca ywca try yoga or swimming,1# per week sounds obtainable. A lb is something like 3600 calories. Make it a life style, slow and positive. The Hollywood diet is bull s##! and most all all all of the junk advertised on tv is a wast of money. good luck

I think you should give time for yourself to do some exercise. My experience i played badminton 16hours a month and i could lose 16lbs of my weight. just 4 hours a week. I think you can do it. Try to play badminton and i m pretty sure you will love the game because while you will play the game at the same time you could lose more extra weight.Good luck and God Bless

dID YOU PUT ON THE EXTRA WT IN JUST 1 MONTH? pROABABLY NOT...So, just watch what you eat, and don t eat more than you burn off - and if you don t want to exercise, it ll take longer than a month, It is safe to lose up to lbs per week - more than that will come back on quicker when you resume normal earing. And, 5-6 nd a140 doesn t sound fat. you might be only a few lbs over. I don t know your age, but it can be muscle, which weighs more than FAT.

I suggest that you try body cleansing. I tried it and really got lean quickly. I lost 15 pounds in 9 days and also 3 inches off my waist. I do body building so getting leaner was my goal. My sister did this program too and she lost a lot of weight quickly. I did not know too much about cleansing but there are a lot of TV commercials about this stuff. This is a body cleanse and not just a colon cleanse, I wanted my body to get lean quickly and this did the trick! You can get info or order it at this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or online at http://thebestcleansingdiet.com

I know thats its cold outside so the best way is to make yourself a little at-home gym and you don t need a lot of time to exercise. Just find 45 minutes a day and you should be fine. Dieting is also pretty tough especially in the beginning and around this time of year when holiday treats are all around you. But if you really want to lose weight set a diet plan and stick to it no matter what and don t just diet for a while to get to your desired weight, incorporate dieting in your life so you lead a healthy lifestyle.

Listen to me! Consume no mor than 20 grams of fat per day drink diet soda and dont consume more than 1200 calories per day dont eat after 6pm make sure you eat though or else you will f up your metabolism do captain chair excersises look it up you could do it in your room not hard its like riding a bike on your back you lose weight and look great in no time dont lose to much A** or tighs though i kinda like dat nevermind i like it alot stay beautiful pimpette

Exercise and eat right, but don t try to lose the weight too quickly because you ll gain it back just as fast.

http://blackvoices.aol.com/black_lifestybut be VERY careful...u probably want to be helped by someone like a nutritionist

the only to lose weight is too EXERCISE there is no way around it. sorry.

you need to do the south beach diet. i do it everytime i need to lose fast weight before a vacation....email me at thatartistwin@aol.com and I ll give ya details....you would lose about 5 or more pounds a week

start drinking water. lots and lots of water, absolutely no soda. they are worthless calories LOTS of sugar. you ll be suprised how much weight you can lose just by drinking water. also, no fast food or fried foods. lots and lots of vegetables, not just potatoes. lean proteins such as white meat chicken, fish or pork. plus write down everything you eat in a food journal-every single thing- to keep track of the calories. people forget and worry about fat grams, but calories are very important. also pay attention to serving size and the nutrition facts on the side of food containers. check to see how much calories from fat, fat grams, trans fats protein you ll be getting. there are books from the library that can help you plan all of this out. good luck no one can make you feel bad about yourself without YOUR permission so don t let them get to you. p.s. losing weight is a process, do not expect to lose it all in 3 weeks. measure yourself to see if you are losing inches, not just pounds.

Don t say you don t have time to excersise b/c thats bullshit. All you need to do is change your eating habits and do 20 minutes of aerobics (walking/jogging) every other day and you will loose weight pretty quick. If you don t have a bike or tredmill go to your local gym or rec center and use the ones there. Don t be a lazy idiot and fall for one of the diet pills or any other loose weight quick schemes b/c they either don t work or are bad for you.

I need to know how to lose weight, I have 3 kids and i have no energy i just want to lay around have no energy? -

I have no energy and all i do is eat i dont know how to stop i crave food all the time...What will help me?

COCAINE

As bad as people say diet pills are for you, they could be helpful in this case. Well, atleast to start out. Almost all diet pills are basically just caffeine pills. Start eating healthy, commit to this healthy diet, and begin a work out plan. Take these diet pills to give you the energy to start. Once you begin running, you ll eventually have more energy and enough to not even use the pills anymore. I know hydroxycut has caffeine in it. So just buy one bottle and make it the last one you ll need. Remember: these diet pills are actually just caffeine or energy pills and will not work unless you actually work out and eat healthy. Additonally, don t rely on them because long term use of caffeine will cause health detriments.

Start going for a walk or get a workout DVD. The more often you exercise, the more energy you ll have and the healthier you ll want to eat because you ll feel the hard work will be cancelled out if you eat crappy food. Eat whole foods and stay away from anything processed. I promise your energy will skyrocket, and weight will drop. Just be consistant in your workouts.

I too am a mom who was in your position. Look at the webiste below and you will know that I am telling hte truth. I was 180 lbs. last march and now I am 135 lbs. try doing this diet and get your energy back with the diet and I can only give you some of the workout cuz it won t all fit on this screen. eamil me to get the rest.Try these good nutrition meals. It helped me lose 70 lbs. in 9 months, along with a workout program to help you burn calories and build lean muscle which helps you burn more fat and lean down and tone up. Good luck and email me if you need additional info. I have my clients on this and they love it and lose an average of 2 lbs. a week along with their workouts that I have designed for them. It is important to eat for what you are going to be doing in the next 3 hours. How to lose weight in a month? -

Okay, first of all... im not fatjust ive gained some weight these days. it always happen when i feel stress. but usually, my weight is back to the normal in 2 or 3 months. but...i have to loose some weight in a month, because next month im starting the modelling club again. so, i need your adviceHELP!

you need to eat lean meats (chicken, fish, turkey, lean beef) , low gi fruits (apples, bananas, pineapple, oranges), green veggies (broccoli, celery, green lettuce, spinach), only whole wheat breads (look on the package and she if the first ingredient is whole wheat flour, if it is it should be good unless it has high fructose corn syrup like Mrs Bairds does) Jillian Michaels from biggest loser has a great quote, before you eat your food ask yourself, does it have a momma or did it come from the ground? if not don t eat it. you need to do a good mix of both cardio and strength training, strength training is not going to make you look like arnold, I promise (unless you are taking test). Running, walking, rollerblading, swimming are good cardio work outs. You can also get some at home videos. I personally like Gilad s Kick boxing, ten minute solutions videos, shape and woman s health videos. get your self some 5 pound dumbbells or a gym member ship and do bicep curls, push ups, sit ups, squats, dead lifts, lunges, tricep over head extensions, chest presses, shoulder presses, etc. If you do end up getting a gym membership i would consult a personal trainer (most memberships come with a free session) they can show you what to do and come up with a meal plan for you...Lastly, don t get discouraged, it takes time... you should be losing 2 pounds of fat a week safely, more is not typically safe. but you could gain weight especially if you are gaining muscle. so if you get on the scale and it says you ve gain two pounds don t freak out... just look in the mirror and go by how your clothes look and feel on you. hope this helps! email me if you have any other questions!also check out bodyforlife.com, great advice, meal plans and recipes!

I dont know if you have tried them or not, but acai berry pills could really help you lose weight, AND keep it off. I have been taking them for the last two months, and they are really good. Once you take them, you ll realise that you start feeling healthier and healthier too !I bought mine from http://acaiBest.notlong.com, because they seem to have the genuine product.Try them.

WATER!! 4 liters a day and a lot of veggies! Also pick up some physical activity and go from there.Good luck!!
