How to lose weight fast in a week or two??!?!!? -

omg its so hard not to eat but im trying to slow my meals down and not eat as bad and as much. i exercise almost every day doing sports and everything but is there anything i can do? I really want to lose about 8 pounds but its so hard because when im hungry my stomach takes over my mind and i usually dont stop it and i eat :D but i dont want to... so is there any tips or anything ? tyyy

Drink a lot of water. When you get that craving drink down some water and that will fill up your stomach for the time being. When you eat don t eat until you are full, that is what is hard for me but it works, then drink water and you will be fine. Eat small meals around 6 times a day. Good luck

just know that you CAN eat. just dont eat a lot of anything. salads are rly good, water ofcourse, its like no calories. people drink over like 500 calories a day, water is 0 calories, so thats already like, 500 calories out of your system, which adds up quickly, ya know...lolthe rubber band thing works, but for lunch if ur still in like school, i thinhk ur...just pack your own lunch. you should try peaches, they r rly sweet but still rly good. fruit is rly good for you to, and dont feel guilty if you eat a donut, or a bagel, or stuff, as long as you dont overdo it. excercising is great too

Wear and elastic band on your wrist, every time you feel hungry snap it. Your mind will associate snacking with hunger quite quickly. The healthier option would be to have a minute snack when you feel hungry. If you feel hungry within an hour, ping the elastic band.

I am going to try this starting today! I am going to be eating 1 salad a day and drinking lots of water. Everyone that I have ask here where I live has told me that you can lose15 lbs. in a week so I thought why not give it a try and see 3 Email me if you have any questions!

When you feel hungry, you probably are hungry. Don t starve yourself, because you ll become weak. Eat good snacks/meals, and not junk food. Fruits and veggies are good snacks.

How to lose weight fast but healthy? -

I m fifteen years old and over the summer, I ve gained weight. I m far from fat but I wouldn t mind losing a little weight on my thighs and stomach because cheerleading season is coming up and the uniforms show your stomach. Any suggestions to losing weight in a fast but healthy manner? :)Thanks!

Try this, you ll see and feel results in 2-3 days. The muscle will outweigh the fat so don t let the scale discourage you :)For exercise, try switching it up (Monday work on arms, Tuesday work on stomach, Wednesday work on legs, Thursday Rest, Friday Arms, Saturday Stomach, Sunday Legs) though you can choose your own schedule/plan. Try maybe using different machines for stomach or legs or arms so your body doesn t get used to it. Also, try increasing the amount of exercise you do every week. For eating, try portion control (70% of your diet is food intake but exercise is also important) eating the serving size and if there is no designated serving size, 1cup if it s a meal and 1/2 a cup if it s a snack.Breakfast- Whenever you chooseDrink of choice- hour after breakfast (all other drinks being water; one cup of drink of choice)Lunch- 1hr after Drink of choiceSnack- 1/2 cup, 1 hour after lunchDinner- 2 hours after snackIt doesn t matter WHAT you eat unless you re on a specific diet such as Atkins, it s mostly just How MUCH we take in and how OFTEN we take it in. I have problems with over-eating and I ll eat an ice cream, oh I want another and it s not b/c I m hungry it s b/c I have a craving for it and it feels like I can t wait. Also, eating out of boredom, try drinking water often to prevent hunger. I also have this problem and especially when I m exercising. (Try buying a treadmill or a few exercising supplies or maybe you can get a gym subscription) and bring with you in an insulated glass/mug full of ice b/c I always and alot of other people always want a little something to feel like their eating or munching on and this is perfect b/c it s hydrating and you get the little munch out of it.Also, how I said about buying some equipment or gym subscription, I d recommend you buy your own that way you pay a little extra and the rest is free not 1/2 the price every month or whatever. Try buying about the things (one for legs, one for stomach, one for legs and maybe as you get more into, you could add more). Also, if you lift weights try increasing the amount of weight each weeks or two. :)Hope this helps! Good luck! Also, calculate your intake so you know how much to work towards burning plus extra for the muscle :)I m twelve and this has always worked for me b/c I have a fat gene and I always maintained my weight and lost it if I got off track :)

- Try not eat after a certain hour. Example: don t eat after 7 p.m. or something. I did that and lost a few pounds. - Drop a fatty food that you usually eat; that could be the problem.- Make sure you re not skipping meals.- Eat suggested proportions, so read food labels. - Add exercise into your diet if you haven t already.Good Luck!

How to lose weight without going on a diet? -

i know this may seem like a stupid question but i want to lose weight, without a going on a diet plan. i m 13 and i feel overweight. is there anything i can do? please help me. i want to be able to go swimmimg and be confident about my body.

Don t try Acai Burn or any other SCAM acai or colon cleanse companies! It s a SCAM! THERE ARE SPAMMERS GOING AROUND HERE POSTING THEIR PRODUCT!!!!I didn t lose an ounce!I signed up for their 30 day free trial and paid the S H $5.95. I got the first bottle. One month later they charged me $59.95. I guess the fine print stated that by getting the free trial I would be enrolled in a program where they automatically send you a bottle and charge $59.95. I never even got the 2nd bottle. I heard all of the acai and colon cleanser companies work this way.

You can definitely lose weight without going on a diet. .You don t have to follow a strict diet to get the ball rolling; making these easy but effective changes really can help you lose weight.First you have to Learn to Read Labels:To lose weight it is essential to pay attention to food labels. Counting calories is impossible without this skill. You should know how to find a food s caloric content and its serving size. Comparing labels among different foods and beverages is crucial for making the healthier choices required to lose weight. Second you must Snack Smart:You can help prevent overeating and maintain blood sugar levels by eating something about every three hours. Getting too hungry will backfire on your efforts to eat healthy and practice portion control. Aim for a healthful, satisfying snack, such as an apple and some reduced-fat cheddar cheese. Eating more may seem counterintuitive, but smart snacking will help you lose weight. The third thing you can do is Eat More Grains and Produce:Whole grains and fruits and veggies do more than provide nutrients that improve your health and reduce disease-risk; they can also help you lose weight. They re naturally low in calories, so you can eat more of them and have less room in your diet for less-than-healthful foods. Plus, the fiber in whole-grain foods and produce will help you feel fuller longer (which helps you control portions and avoid overeating) and as a result, lose weight. The fourth thing is Eat Enough, Often Enough:One of the worst ways to lose weight? Meal skipping. Many people think skipping meals is a great way to cut calories, but in the end, they fail to lose weight. You ll be more likely to overeat or even binge (when you finally do eat) if you do not eat regular meals. Plus your body may go into starvation mode if don t eat enough, causing you to maintain (or even gain) rather than lose weight! The fifth thing is to drink Plenty of Water:Water helps you lose weight in several ways: If you tend to have a problem with water weight, drinking more water can help alleviate bloating. Replacing high-cal drinks such as soda with water cuts hundreds of calories. You shouldn t wait until you re feeling thirsty to drink water; thirst can be mistaken for hunger, causing you to overeat. Proper hydration improves your sense of well-being, which will keep up your motivation to lose weight. The sixth thing is to get Moving:It is virtually impossible to lose weight and keep it off without exercising regularly. Start out today by taking a brisk walk or riding a bike. Work your way up from 10 minutes to 30-40 minutes a day, most days a week, and you could reap health benefits and weight loss results in a matter of weeks. Plus, exercise boosts your metabolism, making it even easier to lose weight. The seventhing thing is to practice Portion Control:Measuring food may seem like a drudgery, but it will prove invaluable in your efforts to lose weight. Start out by comparing a measured standard serving of foods to your typical helping. You may find you usually consume two or even three times the recommended serving. In time you will reprogram your brain to eyeball portion sizes, a key skill for losing weight. The last step is to Write it Down:What s the first thing I think anyone who wants to lose weight should do? Keep a food diary. All you have to do is jot down what, when, and how much you eat in a notebook, or you can do it online at a Web site like Calorie Count Plus. A food diary will give you a clear picture of your current eating habits so you can identify the changes you need to make to lose weight.hope this helps

1 Water blast - I love cold water. Drinking water is the number one tip for losing weight fast. Everyone should consume at least half the ounces of their own weight. For example: My weight is 142 pounds, so I should drink at least 71 ounces of water daily, which is half of my weight.Make sure the water is pure without toxins. Spring water is a great choice. The more water you can drink the better. Experts recommend drinking between 6-8 glasses daily, but everyone s body is different. Overweight people should drink according to their body weight to make sure they get enough.

-Do a cardio exercise when you get up in the morning like walking or running (this jump starts your metabolism and you ll feel more energetic throughout your day)-eat a healthy breakfast (like whole grain cherios), dont skip it or i promise you ll never have lasting results...-there s this exercise that you can do to burn stomach fat (and work your obliques), you stand up, put our arms out and twist side to side using your stomach muscles to stop yourself each time you twist. do this for about 3-5 minutes a day (or more if you want to loose weight faster)-chew extra gum-if you have trouble loosing weight, you can buy dietary supplements such as green tea, cinnamon, chromium, and super-B complex (this one helps convert food into energy and works the best)... they boost your metabolism and help you loose weight, and can be found at walmart or walgreens... you can google search for more supplements if you want...

well you can try these, I ve had no complains about it so it s worth a try watch the infomercial here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dI-rAksodcUor http://www.metacafe.com/watch/3158668/lose_weight_and_make_money/

it is actually that easy to do. but you have to keep on fighting it, and try eating less, i learned a few good tricks from this guys blog about losing a few pounds. http://loseweightburnpounds.blogspot.com

Get more exercise. if you burn more calories than you take in you will lose weight (if you don t have any metobolic problems.) Go running or take up a sport. try for 30 minutes 3 times a week.

Weight loss tips? -

I am 14 and 200 lbs. I know I am in despreate need of some weight loss, but diets just seem so hard to stick to with school. I have so much homework and other things for the clubs I m in and I have almost no time to exercise. Any good ideas? And please don t just say something mean... I m self-conscious enough as it is!

Sweetie, I feel your pain. I am old enough to be your mom now but I was a heavy child growing up. My mother I joined Weight Watchers the summer before I started 9th grade and I lost all my weight. After the weight came off I was so active all throughout school with roller skating (yes, I know I m dating myself here), dancing, walking the mall, etc. that I didn t focus on food and I easily kept the weight off. I focused on fun and sharing good times with my friends. After school when I went to work sitting at a desk full-time I wasn t as active slowly started gaining again. It has been a lifetime struggle for me so I know a few tips to help you. First of all, most schools now offer healthy choices in the lunch line. If they don t, bring something from home. A simple sandwich - turkey, light mayo, a little mustard, lettuce, tomato, low-fat cheese on wheat bread and a piece of fruit is simple, fast and very filling. When you get home you can have Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice, or Weight Watcher meals for dinner. They are really good easy to make. If you are like I was and hurrying out the door in the mornings to make it to school on time (I hardly ever did but that was back in the big hair days) just grab a slim-fast bar or shake. I know this sounds hard but if you make your mind up to do it you will do it. Weight loss is 90% mental and 10% physical. Just make one small change. Start very small. When you make the change it will encourage you to keep going. When you start feeling good about yourself you ll probably find time to start walking because you ll have more energy. I know you can find 10 minutes. I have 3 kids and I can do 10 minutes! Build from there. Try to see it as a change of lifestyle rather than a diet. A diet is something you go on or get off of. A lifestyle is a choice. It s a change. Make that change NOW! You have your whole high school years to look forward to. Don t dread them. Enjoy them. It s all up to you! God bless you give you strength on your journey sweetie!

Get into an after school activity, or ask your parents to get a basketball hoop. Substitute sports or activities for sitting on the couch really helps.

How to lose weight FAST before college? -

I m not fat, I am normal size (5 8, 130 lbs), I just want to be really thin and fit because I am going to college and I want to lose weight for that (just 5 or 10 lbs). Problem is, its in three weeks. Is that attainable? If so, What can I do to exercise, what kind of things should I eat to look my best in 3 weeks?

Step 1:First of all cut back on sweetened soda and juice... these drinks have a lot of calories and the calories .Step 2:Cut back on breads and rice, carbohydrates. they have a lot of sugar which in turn can turn to fat plus they don t keep you filled as long.... eat foods high in protien and fiber... meats, greens, protien bars... high fiber bread.Step 3:the next key is exercise.. Start a walking club at work.... if you walk during your luncg break even if it is a 20 minute walk that adds up during the end of the week. get a wal in on the weekend or go to the gym a little here and there will make a difference over time . a few minor changes will really make a difference.

Add hot peppersAnything spicy or hot will increase your metabolism and make you burn fat quicker. Imagine for breakfast having some scrambled eggs, some lamb chops, and some rye toast with organic butter. Smother the eggs with some organic hot salsa and you will simply lose weight faster.Eat a huge salad at lunch dinnerI dont care if your lunch is a cheeseburger, French fries, and a pint of ice cream, add to it a big, huge salad and eat that first. Youll be amazed that you lose weight. The salad can contain anything you like as long as it is only vegetables and they are organic. The salad dressing should be organic olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice, or organic vinegar. If you really want to speed the weight loss process use organic apple cider vinegar. Add some organic sea salt, fresh ground pepper, or some garlic for taste.

1. Drink water.2. Eat regularly. This means eating 5 times a day and the most important meal is breakfast.3. Eat lots of fibre.Eating adequate fiber foods to help keep things moving through your bowel. And like water, fiber rich foods bulk you up and make you feel fuller for longer.4. Carbohydrates can help you lose weight.Don t believe what you read about carbohydrates being bad for you, they can actually help you lose weight!A diet containing good carbohydrates such fruits and vegetables, wholegrains and moderate in fat and calories, will result in weight loss.Good carbohydrates will also help you combat hunger pangs as they are slowly realized into the body. When eating carbohydrates eat them from the earth with no refining or processing. These include whole grains, vegetables; fruits and beans.

Step 1: Cut down on the amount of processed sugars and carbohydrates you eat.Step 2:Consume only small portions of starchy grains and vegetables, such as brown rice, beans, corn, and potatoes. Try to limit yourself to only one small serving of a starch per day.Step 3:Eat one portion of lean protein with every meal, and two portions of veggies.Step 4:Varying your menu will keep you from getting bored. Also, using lots of fresh herbs and good quality spices will make your meals more flavorful without adding fat.Step 5:For exercise, if you havent exercised in a while, start with something low impact, like walking. If you can, walk somewhere hilly so that your level of excursion varies. Pair your cardio workouts with strength training. Lifting light weights will increase your muscle mass. More muscle means you will be burning more calories every day, even while at rest.

Any tips on how to lose weight gained from medication? -

I was on some medication that caused me to gain about 40 lbs in the past year. I changed my diet and stopped eating white breads and pastas and cut out all trans fat from my diet and i work out 3 days a week. I can t seem to drop any weight. I just got off the meds. Is there anything I can do to jump start the weight loss? I m only 24 and everyone tells me it shouldn t be hard. What am I doing wrong?

It would have helped to know what the medication was, but since you are not taking it any longer, you should drop the pounds slowly. It maytake you about as long as the time you were on the meds to lose the added weight.Take heart, you should lose it. There is no jump start for this. Sorry. Just keep doing what you are doing. Only weigh yourself once weekly, naked, in the AM to keep track of your weight. Body weight fluctuates from day to day and from morning to night. That is why it should be same time with same clothes (or lack of).You re not doing anything wrong, but you can count on a year to lost the added weight. That is the length of time you were on the med. Please be patient, it will be worth it. Work hard and eat right. You are young.....it will come off quickly. Look at it this way: 40 pounds in 12 months = 3.3#/month. That s less than a pound a week! Surely with you doing what you are doing, it won t take that year to reduce. You ought to be able to average at least 1#/week safely.By the way, cutting the trans fats from your diet is good for your heart. But you need to cut nearly all fats from your diet to lose weight. At your age you could keep eating normally except NO FATS (oils, fried foods of all kinds except those fried with cooking spray, no margarines, no pizzas, chips and snack foods that have more than 15% of their total calories being fat calories, no fast food.....loaded with fats. Fat turns to nothing but fat.....don t need it!!Good luck and God bless. Next Xmas you ll be smashing for the holidays!!!!! Not only that, but keep going hard, and by summer you may be back to normal!I am an RN
