I want to start this response by saying that whatever you do, stay away from the diet supplement industry. Well lets start work out for 45 min daily. Do 20 crunches daily, 20 ball sit ups daily, and look for a pull up bar ( it looks like a green chair with no seat and 2 pairs or handles) bring your leg up to your hands as many times as possible. Always eat a good breakfast! It starts you matabulism and you burn calories. Then, eat less on lunch and dinner. Don t try to eat half of what your eating now. Take a little bit of your plate by day so you can get used to eating less.Then, in any free time jog, do sit ups and push ups!You will see improvement! Just keep at that schedule!

Running or swimming, which helps to lose weight faster? -

i have started swimming, i have started foing around 30 lengths in abour 10/15 minutes , twice a week but dont think it helps me lose weight ( i want to lose weight and tone up around my stomach) would goind for a 20 minute jog be better as i feel more tired when i have finished a run? thanks :-)

I have never lost weight while swimming. I find jogging better.

Depends on how fast you re swimming and what stroke you re using. Buttefly and front crawl are most aerobic. Swimming is a little easier on your body -- you won t get overheated in the water, and you re not overtaxing your joints (no impact). The water resistance gives you a bit of toning work as well.

Both are great exercises for loosing weight if you stick to a healthy diet. But I reckon you should go for the one you enjoy the most and are most likely to stick to....its the consistency see....that and having it as a part of your regular routine. Exercise helps you feel good about yourself whether loosing weight or not...thats a real bonus for anyone to have
