Why do only thin people advertise weight loss programs? -

Why do they only use thin people to advertise weight loss programs? If you re thin - then you don t need to lose weight. Why don t they use over weight people and then show the changes?

because no one wants to hear a fat person saying how easy it is to lose weight on a certain program and that you should join today . it seems hypocritical.on every weight loss ad I see they show before and afters where they start off fat though.

The pattern for losing weight is simple - eat less and exercise more - the difficulties surface when we really try to put that into practice! There are a lot of stumbling blocks out there aren t there?! I discovered some excellent advice by visiting the web portal in the box below, they have a lot of instruction, I shed 5 pounds by using their methods.

there is a programthat shows change. It was developed by the people who were overweight and lost it. iv included the link below under source they are probably the most legit out there. Whenever you see thin people that is just a marketing sceme. Be aware of those kind of plans. Below is the only one I found to be legit. Hope this answers your question.

to show you that they ve already lost the weight. they usually show before and after shots.

Why.... Marketing.... But, before you look down on that type of idea as been bad.... or take on another diet/work out program. You may want to review this plan of action. turn your speakers onhttp://Bestway2lossweight.tk

because they are kind of saying if you use this weight loss program you will be as thin as i am

How can I get a FLAT STOMACH and/or Abs in 3 months?!!? -

PLEASE HELP!!!!I want to have a nice bikini body by june in time for summer and right when school ends. I am 13 years old, and I was wondering, since I m still going through puberty and all that stuff, will it be easier to lose weight quickly and will you see the difference? I really do think I can make this happen but I have a couple of queations first. I run 3-4 times a week 15-30 minutes. I play soccer. And sometimes when I can t run I do 100-200 crunches. I love to snack, and sometimes can t help it when I see some chips or something...how can I get motivated to keep eating healthier and working out? I got a friend to join me also. I weigh somewhere from 100-120 lbs and I m 13. Am I over weight? I m not fat, I just have chub. What workouts and what can I eat that will really start my metabolism? And make the progress go faster? I m really hoping to lose 10-20 lbs. by June, and look good and feel confident in a bikini. PLEASE ANSWER THIS AND HELP ME OUT!!!!!Thankyou and I love you if you answer this!!!!!please please please help me!you don t know how bad I want this for myself! It just seems impossible!love, jaden :)HELP?!?!?!?!

Sit ups, sit ups and running and you re on your way to a healthy sexy belly. ;) But don t set unrealistic goals. Just stay healthy and remember, something flat is not always nice. Someone looks great if they are happy about the way they look and respect their body. In other words, be nice to your body and you will glow. If you are really committed - then remember to never give up and don t go over the border (do crazy amounts of workouts). Its great that you play soccer, keep playing and trust me you will see great results. If you want to eat healthier and keep working out and be motivated then get a picture of a really hot guy and every time you want to eat junk food or feel like giving up - look at the picture! I hope I have helped. Add me as a contact if you need more help. Thanks

Your body is still developing so unless you become a gymnist i dont think you will get the 3 pack any time soon.... your body will change a great deal over the summer if you stop playing soccer... many girls who play sports and stop playing there bodys change in good ways or bad ways its diffrent for diffrent girls....

Try these videos! They WORK, trust me. I have abs after about a month and a half. But be warned, they re very challenging at first. Only do as much as you can handle and work your way up. Keep plenty of water handy.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgGNBue6ghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZHq0W6Tghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6S67sjjihttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llk7C7_gx

I m 13 too and i weigh 88 lbs and im 5 4. stick 2 smaller portions and do as many crunches as u can b4 bed every nite and dont eat nythin after u do the crunches b4 bed. also, run or power walk. its rlly easy. thats how i have a 24in waist!

Hey jaden its nice 2 c that u want 2 be thin. I love thin people. I wil suggest u 2 do running in morning time n be4 u start hav lime juice with honey. This wil help u burn loads of calories. N u wil achieve it before deadline. Bye n feel the heat.

Hit the gym, run on a eliptical machine.Cardio machines are good too.or buy aBOWFLEXlol... you re just 13... you shouldn t worry about what people think... hm... 13... i wonderI bet u have a pool party for ur 8th grade class at the end of the school year so u want to look good. you re just 13 it doesn t matter what u look like.

You need to exercise and find a diet that allows you to burn fat while staying healthy it s all about getting rid of the fat that s on top of your muscles.

lol baby I keep my shape only just eating less and going to the gym three times a week for two hours ,and i have a flat stomach

you are too young to worry about stuff like thisbut if you really want to do it, you need a healthy died (less fat), ab workouts, or pilates

instead of worrying about your bikini body at the age of 13 you should worry about your darn grades young lady!

Liposuction

do pull-ups obviously

ahah

OMG your 13 years old and i bet your skinny all ready just walk everyday and do stomach crunchies

.........

I heard a tomato soup diet works well.

lots and lots of sit ups, do not drink soda. You re 100 pounds?UGH NEVER MIND.

Sit ups.

i got my acai info from here

stop it! you are so healthy! There is no need to become anorexic.

I think it sounds like you already are pretty serious about this. How tall are you? because I really wouldn t sweat being a hundred pounds. And you re only 13. Your body is still growing so you don t want to kill yourself excercising. It needs the energy. Don t feel bad about eating chips. The best way to boost your metabolism is what you re doing already. Exercise is your best bet. But one thing that might help is eating more protein. They sell buckets of this stuff at GNC or even walmart. Get musclemilk. Its full of protein and you won t feel hungry. Weight lifters use it to bulk up, but you can also use it to eat healthy without having to make the extra effort to order a salad or something. But seriously, don t feel bad about yourself. If you were 5 2 and 190 lbs then yeah, worry. But don t sweat the little stuff.

your 13 sweetheart.. your overanalyzing yourself..you have a whole life a head of you once your metabolism slows down to worry about what you eat and how you look for now love the fact that you weigh 100 - 120 pounds and your a healthy young girl. and by the time you actually have to wear a bikini im sure you will love your body.i always feel self concious in the winter... but once i actually lay in the sun on the beach in my bikini my self confidence gets boosted up a ton! and i feel f*cking sexy. hahaso if i were you i wouldnt worry to muchjsut give it time.and if your really adiment on abs.. jsut do a couple of crunches a night before bed and if you have the energy do them when you wake up and they will guarentee you a better looking tummy in three months :)

Lay off sugar packed foods like candy, deserts and those fat free snacks with low calories cuz what they re really doing is replacing the fat with sugar which counters the purpose for eating them and since they re low calories it ll take more to satisfy your hunger.Just cut out junk foods like fast food and start eating home cooked meals, using any seasonings like gravy and ranch and cheddar dips ect lightly (that s if you feel that they are a must have).when it comes to eating at home also keep in mind that another main thing is to eat moderately.and do 50 sit ups like when u wake up or before bed and also try walking/jogging for 30mins-1hr a day as well

Ok so im gonna try and answer this as best as possible seeing that all the other answers weren t so Jazzy.Of course the obvious, exercising and dieting play off of each other, you can do one or the other and good good results, but of you stick to doing both, then your results are more typical and expecting. The common mistake is to skip meals and stop eating for a couple days, well in all honestly that is a misconception, not only is it bad for you health wise, but It really makes the losing weight process worse. (Believe me i ve been there) the key is to keep your metabolism up and going, by doing this it is necessary to eat more throughout the way. averaging about 6 to 8 meals. I know it may seem like alot but don t worry it will equal to about your regular 3 meals, but 10 times healthier. No you are not overweight, you may have a little chub but this is common it is probably just babyfat, don t worry here is what your intake should be healthy wise,Dark Green Vegetables = 3 cups weeklyOrange Vegetables = 2 cups weeklyDry Beans Peas = 3 cups weeklyStarchy Vegetables = 3 cups weeklyOther Vegetables = 6 1/2 cups weeklyhttp://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/in order to avoid eating all the wrongg things through out the week, plan one day and one meal where you eat anything you want, within reason.and as far as excercise wise, continue what your doing, add a little ab work to it,you can go to www.bodybuilders.comand they have plentr of information on dieting and extra ideas on working out.Good luck hun, [:

Seriously? You are perfect weight for your age. But if you want a good work out I got one that works great: It is called the bicycle.lay on your back in a sit up position. Put your hands behind your head.Lift your feet. Touch your left elbow to your right knee, and then stick your left foot straight out. Alternate, and do at least 20 of these. Believe me, they work great! Good Luck!

search for core rhythmns you can usually find a cheap program online for 20.00 bucks or less so if you dont have your own funds talk to a parent. (they may want to try this with you) this is a latin dance work out like zumba you can tone and loose weight if you need too 3 or 4 inches a week. Its fun and when you buy it from the company they even give a money back if you dont get results in the first week.

What are the better weight loss programs out there for men? -

Okay, I m middle age, 30 lbs. over weight, a stomach pouch, way way out of shape would probably get a heart attack if I tried to sprint 1/4 mile.

My boyfriend lost about 30 lbs in about 2 months by being on the paleolithic diet. He didn t go to the gym, or exercise much during those 2 months.

Do it in gradual steps. But you can do it coz I m in middle age too. To lose weight you need to do cardiovascular exercises to increase your heart rate and burn the stored glucogen (carb). Do thirty minutes a day of running, walking, cycling or swimming. This is actually one session, you should two sessions with five minutes break in between to see noticeable results. Do cardio at least 3 to 5 x week when you get started. Try to walk if you can t really sprint. Do it outside like in a park so you won t get bored and get to chat with fellow joggers.

I listed two links to great programs. The first one is intended for people in their 40s and over, but it has an excellent strength training chapter that would help you. Second is the Belly Off program - it is very aggressive and it s aimed at men in your age group. The most important thing is to eat sensibly and start an exercise program of strength training combined with cardiovascular exercise. I went from being a mess to losing 50 pounds and being in great shape within a three month period. So it can be done.

Eat right, exercise right. What you want is 2-3 workouts a week, full bodied, 2-3 sets, 8-12 reps, 2 min between sets, this will elicit the greatest fat loss effect. Also try running 3-5 times a week, if u run more often run at a lower intensity for longer, if you can only make it out a few times try running harder. be creative.

I went with the Weight Watchers online program and an simple at-home exercise program and had great results. In all, I lost over 20 pounds in only a few months. The Weight Watchers online tools are very easy to use. I was going to school at the time and working full time so getting to meetings was tough. I liked that with Weight Watchers you get to eat your own food. This has made transitioning life after Weight Watchers much easier because I am eating the exact same food that I ate while on the program. The biggest plus - I have kept the weight off!Weight Watchers estimates that you should be able to lose around 2 pounds per week and still stay healthy. They are also very clear that this 2 pounds per week starts after about a month or so. Weight Watchers has some coupons for the online program:If you live in Canada you can get the Weight Watchers Canada 25% off coupon here:http://www.canbuy.ca/weightwatchers.aspIf you line in the US you can get the Weight Watchers USA 25% off coupon here:http://www.canbuy.ca/weightwatchersUSA.a

The Alli weight loss program? -

I just recently bought the Alli weight loss program, and when I try to register it online, it tells me that my BMI would be too low, but in all honesty, it wouldnt be. How do I fix that. Who else got the program and is having problems on the website? How do I fix it?

I got the program and I m taking the pills... I didn t bother with the website because I don t think that part matters. It s a good sysem though.... I m already seeing improvements and all those yucky side effects are overstated.

Sure thing... I m doing the best I can with it.Feel free to contact me.~A Report Abuse

I didn t register but I guess you could fib about the answers. It is mainly for obese people, not just those who need to loose a few pounds. So if you only need to loose 10-15 pounds you shouldn t be trying it and I guess that s what it might be telling you.

How can I lose weight quickly? -

I have always been in good shape, I was a dancer and a cheerleader all through high school..I also played volleyball on a rec league..I want to know how I can get my body back relatively quickly since I just had my first child..since its summertime, I feel very self concious about my body now..my husband continues to tell me how hot and sexy and beautiful I am but I don t see it myself..I want to look good this summer and I want to get back in shape so I can be healthy for my daughter..what should I do since I don t have too much time in the day to work out because of my daughter and going to work??

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the daily calorie needs calculator http://calorieneedscalculator.com This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.Beginner s Guide to Dieting - http://straightdiet.com

Try core exercises to tone up. Plank, superman, crunches:http://orgs.jmu.edu/strength/JMU_Summer_And do HIIT to lose fat, basically wlak/sprint:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensDo core for 15 minutes a day. And the HIIT can be done 3 times a week for 15-20 minutes.

Well, you sound like you eat really well... I have a 10 month old and not a lot of time, like yourself. I actually go to Curves. It s filled with a bunch of old women (I m 23), but the workout is only 30 minutes and it totally helped me get my body back, and fast. Plus, you only have to go 3 times a week.

Eat less, more healthier foods, drink lots of water and if you cannot get to exercise, walk to wherever you go , and take stairs instead of elevators.

i wish i knew i am only 9 and i am so out of shape!

Do hospitals have weight loss programs monitored by professionals? -

And do heath insurances cover them?My mother is over 50 years old and over 100 lbs over weight. She has also had 2 injuries to her knees in the past that prevent her from doing many exercises. I know there are weight loss surgeries but I would like to encourage her to lose weight through exercise.1) do hospitals provide weight loss programs where the patients can exercise there with supervision?2) are there insurances that cover this?I m not sure what insurance my mom has but she has had the same one for many, many years through her work. How could I go about finding the info I need about the hospitals and insurance? When I try to look up info about insurance all I get is information for free quotes.

I have walked passed by what lookd like supervised excersprograms ..aboutthe insure i dont know ...if all else fails Have you tried working out with Jack? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezr

well the way insurance company s work these days they would like not to pay for anything,,, yes your mom should get some kind of help thru her insurance, it would be in there best int rest to help her get healthier,, she had 2 injuries to her knees, all you can do is call them and ask? or talk to someone in the hospital,,that good that you are watching out for your mom, there is help out there,, it s just finding it,, i hope i helped u some good luck

Have you looked into Isagenix? I know a few older folks who are using it and have been very happy with it losing upward of 15 pounds average. I did it myself and lost 29 so far. I d be happy to give you more info if you want, or just checkout their web site at www.isagenix.com it s basically a nutritional cleanse and a jump start to weight loss. tony@tonycalhoun.com

I have two knee replacements and a metal rod and screws in my back and my doctor told me to do water aerobics. Some of the big hospitals do have weight loss clinics. Some of the insurance companies do pay for these services. I had lap band and with water aerobics I am down 42 pounds and lots of inches. Find out what insurance she has and look it up on the internet and you can check out the hospital on line for their services. Look into your local city s recreational facilities, that is where I go for water aerobics, I go for the beginners class, although, most are over 70 years but they are really nice and I just love going...it is just getting there, could find a lot of reasons to stay home...

Yes, some hospitals do have weight loss programs that involve an exercise aspect. I was about 40 pounds overweight when I started the Right Weigh program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago (I talk about my experiences on the Prevention site and my blog, listed below). They pair you up with a medical doctor, a nutritionist, a psychologist, and an exercise specialist to help you get your weight back on track. After the year-long program ended, I d lost just over 20 pounds, and I ve continued to lose since then. This program really has been the only thing that s worked for me. Although I never exercised in-house, Right Weigh did have weight machines and cardio machines for patients. For payment, I had to pay upfront, and it was up to me to contact insurance to get reimbursed. I opted not to deal with the insurance company for personal reasons. U.S. News World Report has a directory of hospitals that may help you locate one near you that has a fitness/weight-loss program. Or see if your mother s internist knows of a local hospital-based program (my doctor told me about the one I went to). Also, insurance policies vary from workplace to workplace, so it s a good idea to call the provider directly to see exactly what you re covered for. Hope this helps!
