Fasting for a month? -

I will be fasting for 30 days(for religious reasons) stop eating and drinking (even water )from 4:30 AM till 8:00PM(sunset) I have been on a weight loss program which is combination of diet and exercise, and I want to keep my program even during the fasting month. Do you have any ideas what can I eat before I go to the gym( I will not be able to work out before breaking the fast which is at 8:00PM). Do you think I can still lose weight by eating at night? What to eat? when to work out? Oh, and that means I have to fast, so please either answer me if you have the answer or don t.

If you typically break your fast with a feast, I would recommend trying to eat something lighter before trying to work out. A completely full belly would not help you get your work-out done. You could then follow up with your feast a little later.Also, be certain to watch the quality of the food you consume in your breaking-fast-feast. Be sure to eat a healthy variety, and no more calories than you would normally consume on your diet throughout the day.Good luck.

im not sure, as long as you dont overeat you should be fine, you get to eat after 8? your metabolism is really slow then, if i were you i would make sure to get in excersize whenever you can.

will you fast for the day to get the right answer about fasting for 30 days or not? drinking no water ...how long have you study the word or gone to church? you might just be fasting at the hospital.. its ok to fast but you have to do it the right way..the healthy way..Gods way... ask a minister /past/rev about all this.. because he can see your age,height, weight etc.. to determine whats the best fast for you and eating at night is most known to gain weight.

You need to cut sugar completely from your diet. Don t add sugar to anything. Don t eat anything that is naturally high in sugar like fruit and fruit juice, corn etc. Drink only bottled water. Eat very low or no-fat food. Don t eat late at night. Eat lots of veggies and drink veggie drinks (eg. V8) whenever you are hungry. Eat chicken breast for protein. DON T STARVE YOURSELF.As far as exercise is concerned, walking long distances is a good start. Find a sport that you like and stick with it.

Have you watched paul mckenna, he says eat slowly and concentrate on the food and chew about 30 times until its liquid, drink about 1-2 liter of water every day to get rid of toxins inside and if you craving for junk food just drink lots of water or fruit. Plus exercise until you re breathless.

Walk a lot and don t eat bad food or sit in front of the tv all day.

Grams of protien a day to body weight? -

how many grams of protien a day to body weight should you have a day. in a good weight loss program, just wondering a good breakdown or protien, carbs, fat and sugars

Technically, its one gram per lb of lean mass. But one gram per lb of bodyweight is fine as well. Dont over complicate things. Get your protein in, get your healthy fats in and get your fiber in. Everything else should fall in line.

the carbohydrate intake should really be based on the level of body fat that a person has and there daily level of high intensity exercise. but in terms of maximizing fat loss while preserving as much muscle mass as possible using 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20% fats always works when the majority of the food intake is derived from whole foods.

40 carbs 40% protein 20% fats.8-1 gram of protein per body lb is good.

please if u wanna lecture me on not taking diet pills....just dont answer the question..I have been working out and eating healthy and I try to change my routine but its not possible all d time coz im a student n have to eat at the dinning halls plus i dont get enough time off from studies to work out at different times or join a gym...so its kinda hard for me to lose...i have heard alot about hydroxycut 24..i dont wanna take as the solution to my weight loss program but any suggestions on whether it will boost my weight loss and what diet/meal plan can i follow for best results...any help would be appreciated..

I NEVER HEARD OF THE 24 BUT I USED THE HARDCORE HYDROXYCUT AND LOST 60LBS IN A FEW MONTHS. I DIDNT EVEN CHANGE MY EATING HABITS. Whats the best recipe for a Rapid Cleanse of your body? -

I m looking for a way to use products at home to do a rapid cleanse (yes, I know it will be just water weight) my system before I start a healthy weight loss program. I ve already lost about 7 lbs (in 3 weeks), but just want to kick start.

The one that I really like is Lemon juice, Maple syrup, cayenne pepper and warm water. It works really well and the little bit on maple syrup keeps you going so that can replace one or two of your meals in a day. Experiment with the amounts, I usually do about 1-2tablespoons lemon, 2teaspoons maple, pinch of cayenne in a mug full of warm water. It tastes pretty good once you get used to the cayenne.And actually if done right, this doesn t just purge your bowels as mentioned above. It is very good for cleansing intestinal parasites and your liver. Just be careful.

all such a cleanse does is purge your bowels, a laxative will do that. Not to mention messing up your electrolyte balance. It is not a healthy practice.

I really don t buy into the rapid cleanse stuff. Just eat enough fiber and make sure you pass your bowels regularly. You don t want to dehydrate yourself or you ll feel terrible.

Have you ever heard of the master cleanse ? I am pretty sure Beyonce did it. If you search it, I think it is made up of lemon juice, hot sauce, and a certain type of lemonade. Hope I ve helped. I drink Green Tea (hot from a tea pack) when I diet.

I lost four pounds in three days? -

Hi guys!So I started a weight loss program three days ago and today I weighed myself and I d lost 4 pounds. Is that okay? I have been burning around 500-1000 calories per day, on my stationary bike. I have drank only water and one bottle of diet coke. Had mostly salads, fruit, oatmeal, vegies and chicken. Am I losing it too quickly and what should I change about my current routine/diet.Thanksxoxoxox

Likely you just dropped water weight. Personally, I can drop 4-5 lbs in a day just in water weight, and the fact that you ve been drinking a lot of water lends to the theory that you reduced your water retention. (the more you drink the less your body stores unnecessarily)

Most of the weight you lost is water weight. And as females, we re more prone to retaining water : / Anyhow, I m sure you lost a bit of fat with all that exercising, so keep on doing what you re doing (but nix the diet coke--even diet sodas can be fattening--drink water or 100% fruit/veg. juice instead).

no that is totally fine ...what you just lost is water wieght...or in simpler way of saying it .. all that sweat you lost while doing the bike ...well it made you lighter...expecially if you was drinking water...now dont be scared if you gain a few pounds back because our bodies onstanly gain and lose weight...sometimes up to 5 pounds in one week but then the next week we would lose it... its wierd you just have to stick with a healthy lifestyle, exersise, be HAPPY =] and eat right and you will see the results in about a month.

You are losing it too quickly. You might want to take some vitamin and mineral supplements also.

its the first 3 days, keep going at it but the 3-4 lb was probably water weight sweat out. i have seen people lose 10-20 lb of water weight in 1 day!

How to lose weight...extremely fast? -

I am going to a camp in like 2 weeks. I have a lot of weight to lose. We re talking 50 pounds. If you re good in math you ll realize that s about 3 pounds a day. Give me a diet or meal plan or something, please. I m so desperate. I will not stoop to pills though or any medication. Exercise CAN T be the key, though. Please don t give me any of this that s unrealistic garbage. I don t want to hear it. Look, if you feel that I m begging...I am! Don t give any stupid gradual weight loss program, I want to lose 3 pounds a day. Don t tell if it s possible or not, just tell me how. It shouldn t be making me run for 10 hours. Little exercise, moderate eating, and fast weight loss. Please help me, I really am ashamed of my weight and now have a deadline of 2 weeks! Please help me!

It s a bad idea to try to lose so much weight in such little time. I have successfully lost about 40 pounds in month and half..but even that wasn t such a good idea. I replaced one of my meals with apples. Cut back on the bread and rice, but amped up my consumption of meat and chicken breast. Of course exercise helped a lot. Took up boxing which burned pounds like crazy. There are some weight loss drugs out there that might work for you. But I suggest you consult a doctor before going down that route. the only way to lose weight is by using more calories than you consume. 3500 calories equal one pound of fat so to lose three pounds a day you would have to use 10500 more calories than you consume that day. okay first, its not good to loose a lot of weight in such a little time. but here s something i try once in a while.run/walk about an hour a day. after that workout, whether you go to the gym or something. swimming is also very very good. its gonna trim you down real fast real good. at the beach, pool, anywhere, just try. Im not 100% sure if you ll loose 3 pounds a day but this is a very good way to be on your way.also, pick 2 days in a week and eat nothing but 1 egg white in the morning. then in an hour and a half eat 1 grapefruit. then in another hour and a half eat 1 egg white. and back n forth. DRINK A LOT OF WATER. GRAPFRUIT BREAKS DOWN AND BURNS FAT. the fat will not leave your body if you dont drink water. You will loose 2 lbs a day like this.
