How to lose weight in your lower abs? -

I wanna know different ways how to shrink your lower abs. Can anyone help me out, please?

Hanging Leg raises are really good. also do Leg Raises while laying on the floor. doing Tucked Levers also called (Hip Thrusts) work very well. and the Grab Ankles Lift works well too.

I actually just read an article at my gym on this. The first main factor is diet...get that straightened out and you ll be good. Second, reverse crunches don t really help unless you ve got some muscle build already. The main exercise you can do to develop lower abs is stand straight. Yep, just stand straight.

First check out what is your blood group and what diet is good for your health .Basically there are 3 types of Diet+ ----- HIGHLY BENEFICIAL, FOOD ACTS LIKE MEDICINEO ----- NEUTRAL FOOD X ----- AVOID, FOOD ACTS LIKE A POISONCheck out what diet helps lose or gain weight and what diet is really good to be healthy based on your blood group .Inorder to Lose Weight eat 5 Small meals every 2 hours a day . How to lose weight and keep it off? -

I ve recently been sick and lost about 11 pounds just because I couldn t keep anything down. I know this isn t a healthy way to lose weight but just seeing the change that 11 pounds made gave me the motivation I ve been needing to make some lifestyle changes and lose more, the healthy way. Thing is, I m not sure how to do that. How many calories do you have to consume daily to be healthy? What are some good exercises? Also, can anyone suggest a healthy dietary supplement? Thanks.

JUMP ROPE!! it is the best exercise, period.I have been doing it for about 3 and a half months now and have lost 20 pounds! First, find a good jump rope. Here is a good one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007ISNow when you get your jump rope start off easy. I started off in sets of 100 and did that for about 5 minutes. between each of the 100s take 3, 6, or 9 breaths for a little break. You will get frustrated. It will be challenging. But you will get better and be able to do it for 10 minutes non-stop at a moderate speed. What I do now is 6 sets of 10 minutes taking about a 45 second rest/water break in between each set. So that you don t get bored, set up your workout area around a tv. You will need space. But not a whole lot of space. You may have to move your tv or something but I didn t. Avoid jump roping on concrete at all costs. It s bad on your knees and ankles. What s great about jump roping is that you can always make it harder. You can go faster, take bigger jumps, double unders, etc. Also, you will need to adjust your rope, which is easy. With some simple tools you can pop off the caps cut and cut the rope where you want it. How do you know what is the right length, you ask? well, Stand on the middle of the rope with both feet and the handles should come up to your armpits. Don t cut too much off though, because then you will need another rope if you mess up.Now about eating...This is not my area of expertice but I ve heard that you should cut 500-1,000 calories from your diet. So for men you should eat 1,500 and for women it should be 1,200 but NO LESS. Instead of 3 meals a day, eat 5-6 small meals each consisting of 200-350 calories. here s an example of one of my days of eating.Breakfast, whenever you wake up which should be 7:00-8:30: 2 servings of kelloggs special K plus protein with little skim milk =240 Now if you can t stand not having very much milk pour in what it tells you to pour in for each serving which is about 160 per serving? Apple= 70 calories... all = 310-390 caloriesMini-Brunch 10:00-10:30: Dannon Light and Fit 80 calorie yogurt with Planters cashew peanuts. But easy on the cashews. I usually take about half a hand full which makes it all equal to about 150 calories all =140-170 caloriesLuch 11:45-12:30: This is usually my largest meal because I exercise after I eat lunch.deli meat sandwhich with good healthy bread and using mustard instead of mayo and cheese. =about 300 caloriesSalad =100-150 depending what you put on it. I usually have about 5 cups of salad with light dressing, feta cheese, and some sunflower seeds. YUMand you can throw about 25 grapes or something like that in there and it all = about 450 caloriesAfternoon tea?? 3:00-3:30 I usually have something filling right around this time so I don t have to much at dinner. So oatmeal, or anything hot and has fiber and protein. oatmeal = 160 calories. and you can have a small salad with that so it would = about 240 caloriesDinner 5:45-6:30: Um um um...hm..um. Usually there is something made for dinner right? So you can t control this one... but you CAN control how much you eat! Use a small plate and limit your meat portions to about a deck of cards. If you had deck of cards meat, half a baked potato, and salad that would =about 300 calories...ALL EQUALS =1,470... OH MY GOODNESS THAT S LIKE PERFECT!! lol So there you go, that s one successful day of eating uner your belt. Now here is a list of foods to avoid at all costs and foods to include in your dietNO-NOsodaany desserts...sorry but seriously cut ANY out completely. Don t even taste it because it won t satisfie you. These desserts includecake,cookies,pie,candy... you know all that stuff.pancakesbaconhot dogsmilkshakesthe list goes on, and on, and on... You know what s not good for youGOODY GOOD GOODS!Fruit such asapplesbananasstrawberriesgrapes, but not too many. Grapes are the sugariest fruit so limit those.and other such thingsSALAD salad is very low calorie so load upa good cerealoatmeal1 or 2 eggsand this list goes on and on too. again, you know what s good for you!One other thing. DRINK, MORE, WATER! From now on, water is your favorite drink. You should be having 82 ounces of water everyday or more. put water in place of fruit drinks, soda, and other stuff LOADED with sugar.HOPE ALL THIS HELPS! it worked for me so it should work for you. weigh yourself every week in the morning and measure your waist every week. GOOD LUCK!:)

Use this calculator to find out how many calories you need per day, based on your age, sex, and lifestyle: http://www.exrx.net/Calculators/CalRequiThe site also provides exercises (with instruction) and examples of workouts. Stumptuous (http://www.stumptuous.com/) is another great non-commercial workout and nutrition site, mostly for women and girls. You will also get a lot of excellent, neutral information there. If you eat a healthy diet, you won t need a dietary supplement.

http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/calorie -- this will determine how many calories a day would be healthy for you to lose weight... Jog for a half hour, speed-walk for 30 seconds then back to normal and so on, Crunches, Mountain climbing poses, and yoga! Medifast is a good dietary supplement, as is Emergen-C, and also Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil help people use GOBS of weight and it s healthy for you too :) hope I helped!

If you really want to lose weight, you should watch your diet and start exersizing. Dont take those dieting pills because they dont work. Dont starve yourself to death on the foods you eat. Try eating healthy foods, and between here and there you can treat yourself with some treats. But not too much treats. Good Luck!

How to lose weight for someone like me? -

I m really stressed out at the moment depressed even and I really need to lose weight. I m not morbidly obese but have gone from being curvy to overweight. But because of my moods i m lacking confidence to go out of the house and get exercise. And whenever I set myself rules about eating I feel even more power to break them..Like i start off fine in the day and get to around tea time i just binge. I m fed up of fighting with myself

Sweety, trust me I ve been in the same situation as yourself...I had lost a loved one and slipped into a coma- this and my comfort-eating binges contributed to me become obese...I was already in a depression and make things worst I was living alone...Didn t have any friends n family to tend to me as I had decided to move to a place where no body knew me.....Anyhow, here I am today...5ft 4 inches tall...and 38in-28-36....The path from 48-38-52 to this was not easy...It was gruesome..and required a lot of mental-determination....it is infact the only thing which can make u lose weight..coz once u have it, the will and strength to work out and abstain from fatty foods will simply follow.....Wht i did was I bought dresses for myself which were too small-exactly the size i wanted myself to be.....I stocked my fridge with only veggies and fruits..and the occasional chicken (coz its the only healthy meat) which i only had roasted, skinned grilled.....and worked out in the gym 6 days a week for 2 hours daily...30 mins in sauna for 6 months...and here I am today....that s it...all laid down for u....so...go ahead...pump up ur will-power....declare to the world ur plan...and stick to it...Feel free to contact me if u need any help...i completely feel for u...ALL THE BEST

Try portion control... all the same foods you like and eat, still eat them but in smaller amounts... this way you re still eating what you enjoy. for instance instead of eating ice ceam out of the carton, measure 1/2 cup out and then stop... or if you crave pizza, that s fine! but instead of eating 6 slices, have 2 slices and add a salad to it to fill you up. drink lots of water or some other drink with 0 calories like diet pop or crystal lite if you don t like water. this will fill you up and you won t be as hungry. Diets don t wont... it s totally unrealistic to say i m just not going to eat fattening food... it only sets you up for a binge that way. Also if you re a bordum eater, find something else you enjoy doing to get your mind off food. As for exercise. I work in a gym and can totally understand how it can be intimidating to go to a gym if feel a little self conscience. So maybe try just going for some walks or jogs. with it being summer time there s a lot of activities you can do outside that are fun. And if you feel too depressed to go out and do something period then just try to focus on the eating part for now. always take baby steps if you try to make too drastic life changes at one time it will be too overwhelming and can set you up for failure. good luck :)

How to lose weight at home? -

So whats a good routine to do at home that will make me lose fat, inches. My diet is protein, vegetables and fruit.I have a gym membership but today I dont feel like going I just want to stay home and exercise. Oh and I splurged this weekend I had a lot of carbs :(

Try breathing exercises. You might be surprised to know that breathing exercises too can lead to weight loss. If you are doing the breathing exercises properly, you will find that you can exert a lot of pressure on the muscles around the mid section. You can feel a tightening of these muscles each time you breathe in or breathe out. So go ahead and breathe properly, it is good for you.

I found this on this website. There are more tips and info.1. If what you are eating has less than 1 carb, count it as 1 carb just to be sure.2. Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.4. Don t weigh yourself more than once a week5. Take starting measurements as well as weight - sometimes you ll lose inches before pounds6. Avoid any type of low carb sweetener for the first two weeks7. Don t compare your loss to someone else s - this is a YMMV thing (your milage may vary)8. Stalls are common around the third week so don t panic9. If you follow your plan to the T and don t lose, consider Candida as a possibility and avoid vinegar, cheese, mushrooms and any other fermented food10. Have bloodwork done before starting so you have a comparison11. Cholesterol can be elevated in the first few weeks til your body adjusts - make sure your doctor knows that you re doing low carb and when you started12. Don t blame the diet if you don t read your plan book -- blame the diet if you don t read the labels -- Don t blame the diet if you don t follow the diet

I kno a great weight loss product on www.shopherbalife.com/safiya.. its really great and it worked for about 3 people that I kno.. if you hav any questions you can contact me..

Turn on music and dance like wild. Let your hair down once in a while. Go back to the days of wild child hood. Close the door of your room, turn on your sound system to the highest volume possible (but a little lower than the level at which your neighbors start to complain) and then do the wackiest dance that you can think of. Jump on your bed and jump off it again. Roll all over the floor. Pretend that you are Michael Jackson or Madonna (you will never see them keeping still) and do ever boogie move that you know.

drink plenty of water. cut down heavy foods especially carbohydrates for dinner. less carbohydrates and more green vegetables in your meal because excess carbohydrates will be stored as fats. do some exercise for example push ups and sit ups. i think these will work. :)

How to lose weight permanently? Any good fixed diets i can get at the store? -

Everytime I get into exercize mode I get more of an appetite and eat more!! What kinds of food should i eliminate and/or add to my diet?

Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we ve known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one. In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. Vary your routines. Don t eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. You will lose weight much more efficiently if you mix things up from time to time so that your body doesn t adjust to any one routine. An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc. Here are a few helpful links.http://www.nutrawatch.com/http://www.caloriesperhour.com/http://www.helpguide.org/life/healthy_eahttp://www.wikihow.com/Lose-Weight-the-Hhttp://weightloss.about.com/cs/fitness/ahttp://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/fe

You don t need to buy fixed diets to lose weight. Here s a suggestion:Eat a healthy breakfast and dont skip it. Eating a healthy breakfast would jump-start your day, give you energy and can help you eat in moderation at lunch and dinner. A high-fiber(like oatmeal), low-fat breakfast may make a major contribution to a total reduced food intake for the day.Losing weight is simply a matter of limiting calories consumed and burning off more calories with exercise(at least 30 minutes a day) and daily activities. To lose weight, it helps to know how many calories you are consuming in a day. Also, eating more of Negative Calorie Foods is great way to lose weight.Check out http://loseweightsite.net It has an article on Negative Calorie Foods To monitor your calorie consumption and daily activity, http://www.mypyramidtracker.gov

Hi!Reading about the Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet makes you wonder if they might not be on to something. The way the diet works is different than other fad diets that involve cutting out certain types of food like low carbohydrates, low fat or low calorie. Instead it uses calorie shifting foods that you would normally eat, increases the number of times you eat, and changes when you eat certain things for fast fat loss. What is Calorie Shifting? The way calorie shifting works involves tricking the fat hormones that are sent out by the brain. Every time you eat something, your brain sends out fat storing and fat burning hormones, depending on what the item is.The idea is to send more fat burning than fat storing hormones, so that the body does not hold onto the fat for later use. If you keep confusing the metabolism, you will see fast fat loss, as much as 9 pounds in 11 days, that is the first weightloss principle of Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet. How Does The Metabolism Control Weightloss? This scientific weight control fact about the metabolism and how it works stems from our ancestry as cavemen, when there were famine periods between hunts. The body would store and hold onto fat for survival. The metabolism has not evolved from this self-defense tactic and doesn t realize we can just run to the grocery store and get whatever we want.On restrictive diets, weightloss can plateau when the metabolism thinks it is experiencing a famine period, and it will only burn what is taken in. Even on some of the popular low carbohydrate diets, it is advised to eat pizza for two days when your weight plateaus to get the metabolism going. Why Do Some Weightloss Diets Leave You With No Energy? The only problem with many of these restrictive weightloss diets is the metabolism goes back to only burning what you take in and many people complain about being tired and worn down, when it is mainly the metabolism storing up the energy for later.By eating healthy, nutritious foods that are fat burning, the metabolism burns as much energy as you need. Many people on restrictive weightloss diets will regain the weight when they go back to eating normal foods. What Is The Best Diet For Weightloss? The best weight control diet allows you to eat the foods that you would normally eat, have in your refrigerator and cabinets. By timing when you eat certain foods, how many times a day you eat them, and balancing the types of food, your metabolism will burn what you take in and then some, because it knows you will be feeding it again shortly, instead of starving.Prepackaged fat loss products and frozen dinners are not something you can live on the rest of your live. You need to understand the basics of natural weight control, and Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet uses the fundamental principles of controlling the metabolism with calorie shifting normal foods you eat every day.Check my source, it might help. It s a diet that works. Good luck!

First, eliminating foods and drinks that you believe may cause you weight gain is disastrous. Slowly reduce the intake of what you eat and drink (eg. if one drinks a lot of sugary drinks, reduce the amount to just four glasses a day for a couple of weeks, then just two glasses a day, then one glass a day, etc). Foods you should reduce in intake is chocolate, sugary drinks, chips, candy, and icecream.Fill up on fruits (grapes, apples), vegetables, and it is okey to have some meat in your diet. Also having moderate intake of bread. But please do not starve yourself!!! Be sure to have lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet. To start off with vegetables, have them as salads.

Some great answers here. In a nutshell, the key to lasting and successful weight loss is to gradually implement lifestyle changes and adopt healthy eating habits. If you eat 500 calories less that you need to maintain your current body weight, you will lose weight, as a rate of about a pound a week.Follow these winning strategies to win at weight loss:1. Develop a plan. Set realistic goals and a target weight based on the optimal weight for your body frame size and height. 2. Identify your eating habits and food abuse triggers by keeping a record of what you eat, how much you eat and when you eat, in a food diary. Over time, you will be able to identify trends, and develop a strategy to deal with problem areas.3. Control your portions. Eat slowly, and watch your portion sizes when serving food.4. Be heart smart. Keep your intake of saturated fats to a minimum and switch to healthy fats, and low fat cooking methods. Fat is dense in calories compared to other food groups.5. Kick the carbohydrate addiction. Opt for low glycemic load, high fibre carbohydrates. Eating refined carbohydrates is addictive and breaking this habit is the secret to sustainable weight loss.6. Eat high protein food. Include high protein food at each meal. This slows down the movement of food from the stomach to the intestine, leaving you feeling full for longer.7. Exercise. The key to permanent weight control is exercise. Include both aerobic exercise and strength training in your fitness program. You can download a free Weight Loss Starter Pack which includes food diary, from my website. See my profile for links.

The key to starting a successful diet plan is to make the changes slowly. You can t go from eating garbage everyday to eating healthy overnight. The changes required to do something like that are huge and should be spread out over a period of time. If you make the changes too quickly, your body won t have time to adjust and you ll probably quit before seeing any results. At first, you shouldn t worry about your calorie count. When you start replacing unhealthy junk with healthy alternatives your calorie count will naturally be reduced because healthy choices are generally lower in calories than unhealthy ones. Start by reducing the amount of junk you eat (chips, cookies, pastries, doughnuts, soda, sugary drinks). Replace unhealthy snacks with nuts, fruits, salads and yogurt. You can then start getting rid of products made from refined flour such as white bread/pasta. Replace these with foods made from 100% whole wheat flour (check the nutrition label). The difference in the two flours is that whole wheat contains more fiber (and vitamins minerals) which slows down the digestion process. This will keep you full for a longer period of time which will help you eat less throughout the day. Other foods that are high in fiber are fruits, vegetables, oats, beans and legumes.Eventually, you will need to start monitoring your calorie intake. Losing weight depends on you eating less than you burn. If you re not losing weight, the problem is that you re either eating too much, exercising too little or a combination of both. If you want a comprehensive and personalized free diet plan and workout routine, visit http://shtrainer.com

Obviously different foods are better than others. But no matter what you eat, if you want to lose weight you should eat early in the day. Eating earlier increases your metabolism. Also, eating late at night (before you go to bed and are inactive for 6-8 hours) can hurt your chances at fat loss. Hope this helps :) Drink water or milk if you feel hungry for a snack...Lots more tips at the website below...

If there is a Curves workout facility in your area it may be something to consider. All of the machines are hydraulic and you get a really good workout in 30 minutes, and the price is pretty reasonable. You can also pump up plain water with some of the single drink straws that you can get at any store. Most of them are just 10 calories. I used to workout and also work for a Curves so that is where my suggestion came from.

Eat lots of fruit and vegetables but lay low on the carbs and saturated fat. Also don t starve yourself and don t skip meals it make you hungrier and then you will eat more the next meal you have. Only have 3 meals and don t snack.while you are at work try lifting weights during spare time like those 3lb one and wear ankle weights to. when you get home put on a tv show and just do squats and lunges they are easy and fast things that will help alot.

How to lose weight fast, without losing your muscle? -

Okay I wanna lose alot of weight before school starts, but I also don t want to lose any of my muscle. So I guess what I m trying to say is how do I get rid of all the fat weight real fast?(And please do not recomend any of those diet plans you buy.)

I think you should jog every morning around your house or a block. then you should watch what you eat like less fatty thing and less junk food. I hope this helps you!

You only lose muscle when either A) it turns to fat by not being used (so i.e. weight lift them couple of times a week) and B) when you starve yourself, your muscle will be eaten away before fat does (see; anorexia). To lose fat, or at least try too, just do what your doing but up your aerobic workouts.

Hi Cherry,I ve got tips for you to lose weight fast and in a healthy way, while keeping your muscle. It s not as hard as people think. In fact, it can be pretty easy. Just cutting soda and sugary drinks from your diet COMPLETELY is just one awesome way to lose weight fast easy and healthily. (I lost 10 pounds alone only with that one change) That along with the other tips I m going to share below (all are very safe and healthy) and you will be on your way to easily losing the weight and keeping it off.As cliche as it may sound you gotta eat your veggies. They are amazingly good for you, also raw nuts (almonds are best) fruits, and 100% whole grain breads instead of white flours (white flour is very bad for you, read up on it if you get the chance!) Try and stay away from fried foods and fast food as much as possible, and other empty calories and foods that provide you no nutrients, like ice cream/candy/cake etc. Common sense goes a long way with what foods to eat and how to be healthy, so use it :)Building healthy eating habits and keeping the weight off in the long term is what you should really strive for. Also, make sure you don t count calories, it can drive you CRAZY! Just eat GOOD calories, and when your satisfied, stop eating. Try to eat more meals a day and portion them smaller, it really is proven to speed up your metabolism and burn fat way faster. If you mix this in with the other things I ve shared, you will be on your way to easily losing weight and keeping it off.Just be persistent, set goals, make little changes and stick with them. You will get to where you want to be. You really have to want it, I did, and I m at my goal weight now. Please check out my blog, I think you will enjoy the information and my weight loss story. The link is below and best of luck hon.
