How to lose weight to become a model? -

I am almost 15 years old and i am 5 9 and about 135. about a size two. I have blonde hair and green eyes. Not trying to sound snotty or anything but I have a very pretty faceHow much weight do i need to lose to be a model. And how can i do it, within a couple months.

Keeping to a reduced weightMany people who lose weight soon put it back on again when they stop their weight reducing diet. The main reason this happens is because the weight reducing diet was only a temporary cut back of an unhealthy diet. Once you have lost some weight, to keep the weight off you need to stick to a healthy diet. An active lifestyle with more physical activity would also help. Even better is for the whole family or household to have changed to healthy eating habits and a healthy lifestyle. To keep your weight down you will still need to eat less and/or do more physical actvity than previously. For example, if you have lost 10kg, to keep this off and maintain your weight you will still need to:* eat about 300 calories per day less than you did prior to the weight loss diet, or* do more physical activity to burn up an extra 300 calories per day, or* a combination of the two.Top tip - after losing some weight, weigh yourself once a week to keep a check on your weight.

the simple Diet and Exercise.keep a calorie journaldo aerobic exercises regularlyavoid trans fat and saturated fat like the plaguedrink lots of water eat 6meals a day, once every two-three hoursalways eat breakfastAnd you ll shed those pounds before you know it.

They probably won t even take you because you re so young without any experience.

No offense but I think models are taller than 5 9

How to lose weight safely and surely? -

Im only 14 yrs old but i weigh 176lbs?Will i lose my manly boobs if i lost weight?

Its simple: expend more energy than you consume, and the fat disappears.1. Make your body move, aerobically, and do some resistance training2. Eat less, cut out the crap, the sugar, the soda, the white bread/rice, eat whole grains instead, fruits and nuts for snacks not crap from the snacks or candy aisle , stock up on baby carrots and celery, so that if you MUST stick something in your mouth, put those in.Think of it this way, when you walk into a super market, all that food that s on the outside of the aisles, the vegetables, the fruits, the lean meats, the fish, the dairy (some) greek yogurt is best, etc. That s the food you should eat. The food in the aisles, the boxed and bagged stuff, filled with salt, preservatives, and sugar? That s the food you don t eat when you want to lose weight. Its really that simple. Stay out of the aisles (except the whole grain/whole wheat breads and the frozen fruit, blue/black, berries, cherries, that s stuffs ok too)At 14, 176 pounds you should be able to lose 20 pounds in a short period of time (like a month or so) and you won t be doing anything but eating healthy food, no magic potions or magic foods that have never worked (there have been 1000s of them peddled at desperate people for decades). Its all nonsense. They are all passing fads that the people selling them laugh all the way to the bank while yo-yo dieters keep getting suckered into the next magic way to lose weight that comes back in no time because people don t change their eating, living, and exercise HABITSAmateras: I don t have to tell you. You are doing the best thing you can possibly do to improve your quality of life, improve how you feel physically and emotionally, avoid medical problems associated with obesity and diabetes, etc. and its going to pay off in spades for the rest of your life.Perfect. That s how its done.

The only safe, sure way to lose weight is diet and exercise! Try to walk 30 minutes daily, gradually building up to more time and distance. More importantly, a healthy diet must be in the works. Breakfast is a must, so are lunch and dinner, but it is vital to track the calories, fat, and fiber to make sure you re making good choices. There are websites you can find your Basal metabolic rate, and a suggestion of how many kcals to eat per day. You must eat 500 kcal less than that suggestion to lose a pound per week, and 1000 kcal less to lose two. It is only healthy to lose 1-2 pounds weekly, so try to develop healthier eating patterns and keep a log of what you eat, and if you overeat, why. Avoid restaurants, which have huge, non-nutritional portions!! There are many sites online that can educate you about healthy foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I like yogurt, whole grain toast OR oatmeal, and fruit for breakfast. Lunch could be a broiled chicken salad with nonfat dressing, and a light soup, and dinner a salad, soup, whole grain pasta dish, or sandwich with whole grain bread. As you lose weight, and work out, you will see more definition and lose fat. There is no way to be certain your pec muscles will tone up, but they should!

Hi !I lost 105 pounds in 1 year....and still counting.I started out by eating a high fiber breakfast, now I eat 2 eggs and 1 toast with coffee, or Mal-O-Meal with coffee.Drink 3 liters of water every day and eat big salads; I mean really big, filled with any lettuce you like or cabbage, carrots, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, tofu, chicken breast, tuna ETC. I had a treadmill and the dvd KickBox BootCamp. I would walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes and do 30 minutes of the dvd M-F. Now I jog 3 days of the week and use Day 1 of the 30 Day Shred.I used to eat candy on the weekends, but now I count my calories so that I eat less than 1,200 calories everyday...and that includes a cookie or Kit Kat Bar.

Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.4. Don t weigh yourself more than once a week5. Take starting measurements as well as weight - sometimes you ll lose inches before pounds6. Avoid any type of low carb sweetener for the first two weeks7. Don t compare your loss to someone else s - this is a YMMV thing (your milage may vary)8. Stalls are common around the third week so don t panic9. Cholesterol can be elevated in the first few weeks til your body adjusts - make sure your doctor knows that you re doing low carb and when you started12. Don t blame the diet if you don t read your plan book -- blame the diet if you don t read the labels -- Don t blame the diet if you don t follow the diet

Hi there,I think you might be getting a little mixed up with what you want exactly. You say that you want to lose weight but that means you might want to get rid of some muscle too. You then say that you d like to shape (I d call it tone) your body a little which implies you want to build some muscle. I m not trying to pick at your question - I just want to clarify the point for you.To answer it in the best way, I am going to look at it as if you want to get rid of fat AND build muscle at the same time. If you re looking to trim and tone your body, and espectially because you suggest you are not that overweight, I would suggest you start performing more intensive aerobic exercises such as jogging. I wouldn t think you need to change the whole way you eat or go on a diet because if you re wanting to build muscles - it s better to do it all with exercise.Exercises like jogging won t exactly build your muscles on your stomach but they will help reduce the extra fat around there. Depending on how fit you are, you should go on daily or bi-daily jogs of around a mile. To build muscles, you should concentrate on anaerobic exercises such as sit-ups to help build muscles. These muscle-building exercises will give your muscles the toning and training they need to grow and become more prominent. To start to see a real difference with sit-ups, you should be looking to do no more than 100 every day (more than that will often hurt your muscles). If you stick to doing those two forms of exercise - jogging and sit-ups, you should see real improvements in a week or two. Remember, you should do them as often as you can (I.E every single day).

Loosing weight fast is always an unhealthy thing. There are many diets who tell you that you can loose a lot of weight in no time. And it is working, but you are doing no good to your body. And there s also the Jojo-effect.The best thing to loose and hold a healthy weight is healthy food, less sugar, lots of drinking water, and sports.Diet has to begin in your head. And you already started to think about your nutrition. That s an important step. It is too easy just to make a magazine-diet for 2-3 weeks and loose some weight. But it will come back soon again. If you are over-thinking your nutrition and activity, you will have a constantly good result. Isn t that much better and healthier than a crash-diet ?- Healthy life every day!Take care,:-)

Weight Loss Tips? -

I m 14 and weigh 125 pounds... I have a a bit of flab around my stomach, plus side handles, which makes me look absolutely horrible in anything clingy. Having as much extra weigh as I do REALLY makes my self esteem go down... I swim and go to the gym almost daily, plus eat healthy, but I don t seem to be losing any weight. I ve been doing this for two months now. Does anyone have ideas on how I can lose the flab in my abdomen area?

Well here are some tips that helped me..if its raining and u cant go for a walkjump rope for 30mins during your fav. tv show. have a break during the commercialsif you go for 30mins that equals an hour of walking!have 2 glasses of water 10 mins before you eat and 2 right before you do.youll eat a lot less!get plenty of sleep - No sleep means food = fat = flab!!i dont know why it just does!exercise in the morning nor do i know why but its better for you AND gets u up and going for the daydo like leg, arm, bum, tummy toning exercises before bed and as soon as you wake up to keep you tonedthats all i can think of right now.i really hope it helpsand good luckif you make drastic changes and still no weight losssee a doctor.best wishes!

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I did this and lost 12 pounds and 19 inches in 9 days. I continued and lost 29 pounds in a month. I like the program since it works by giving your body nutrition through protein shakes with digestive enzymes and vitamins and then cleansing out the toxins. We get toxins in our bodies from pesticides, preservatives, water, pollution, medications, food additives etc. These toxins enter our bodies and get stored in our fat cells. To shrink the fat, we need to get rid of the toxins through cleansing. The program also has a natural diet pill to help your metabolism and curb cravings. It works and it works fast. My skin has improved from the cleansing. It is pricey but worth it! I think cleansing is really important to health and weight loss. Call the toll free 1-877-587-4647 Give it a try and good luck! http://diet4cleansing.tripod.com

Download the free E-book this site offers, it helped me lose weight real quickly (and lastingly!)

How to lose weight off your legs this summer.? -

this summer i want to lose weight off my legs. im 12 years and i have a Curve in my upper leg and im trying to look go for middle school. SO PLEASE HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT!!!!!

Talk to your parents about this. Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we ve known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one. In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. Vary your routines. Don t eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. You will lose weight much more efficiently if you mix things up from time to time so that your body doesn t adjust to any one routine. An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc.

Wear a Slendertone Flex Abs Belt will be a proof of your sensible choice. You can wear it anytime anywhere you feel convenient to lose weight. It has been the best choice of overweight boys and girls , hope you will also find useful.

I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I ve found a great addition to help any one out, it s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace dot com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it s the best pill I ve tried and I ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

I would say just do simple leg exercises, such as squats, one legged squats once your legs get stronger and leg extentions... (sit down on a chair and raise your legs up straight and hold it). That ll do your toning and make your legs look great! So shed off that extra fat, go for some long walks or quick runs every couple of days! (that will not only make you loose weight on your legs, but every wheres else too!)

gogle it because the other answers are bullshit i need to do the same also

How to lose weight on the calf? -

What kind of exercise will help lose some calf muscles? I currently swim and jog but doesn t seem to help much.

Jogging will certainly increase the size of your calf. Being a runner myself, I notice my calves are fairly well developed despite not hitting them very much at the gym. Swimming should be fine however as that tends to be an upper body exercise.Remember, you cannot spot reduce -- if that was the case, all those ab machines you see hawked on tv would really give you six-pack abs. You can certainly tone the area by doing calf exercises, but anything short of plastic surgery isn t going to reduce the size of your calves.Other things to consider:Examine your weight. If you are heavier, you may need to lose body weight (some of which will come off your calf). Also, wearing high heels could also be making your calf more muscular and hence bigger. Genetics: perhaps you are predisposed to large calves, in which case there isn t a whole lot you can do.Good luck.

anyone tried massage? Report Abuse

You re only making them bigger with that...don t do anything. Believe me, I tried all that, and it only made my calves bigger, now I can t even zippen up my boots all the way.
