Eating healthy just makes you healthier, it doesnt slim you. You will have to excersize. Have a plan. maybe go to the gym before or after work or school. I dont understand how to lose weight... please help!!? -

I m starting to workout at home doing push-ups, pull-ups, lifting 10 or 15 lbs, ect. And i m barely snacking or eating junkie things. However, after like every four days i get on the scale to see if i ve lost any pounds but it keeps staying the same number. I dont understand that, do you have any ideas?

i am working on weight loss as well, and you won t lose it taht fast. i have been stregth training, cardio, and have been taking a multivitamin and eating less for 5 weeks and I feel amazing, I know I will get thin, but it takes dedication t owhat your doing, and DON T GET ON THE SCALE! As you work on your muscles, you are going to gain weight because muscle weighs more tahn fat. As you work on cardio, the fat will come off. It takes time. Slow weight loss is healthy weight loss. If you lose like 20 pounds in two weeks, what everr you changed, when you start how things were, that weight is going to be there once again. As your eating habits and stregth and cardio habits change, your body will adjust to that, and once you lose that, your body is so used to how you had it, you won t eat as much as you used to, and you ll want to work out. When i first started working out, it hurt, but if i miss a day, i hurt worse than i do when i started. Do not do like gym weight lifting everyday. Hey Kim...dont be disheartened, it takes more than that much to lose weight. It s hard work. :) I know. I used to feel completly frustrated by how I was not losing weight. But finding a correct exercise regimen and regular practice helped.You need not stop snacking, all you need to do is to snack smarter and healthier. I tried Yoga, it helped me lose weight, as you lose in inches, you tone your body as you go along, so you need not worry about sagging skin. I practice regularly. You can probably try it. There are many sites that offer Yoga for weight loss, http://www.zendle.com is one of them .You could probably take a look at them and see which one suits you the best.

You won t lose weight that fast sweetheart. You lose inches first, then pounds. Remember that.

I know I know, everyone s perfect, I should love myself the way I am,exercise,eat healthy,etc etc,starving yourself could actually cause your metabolism to slow down and make it easier for you to gain weight later,etc etc, but I want to hear a quick fix for the moment and I can worry about my health later. well, you have to ONLY drink water and eat fruits and vegetables or yogurt for A WEEK OR TWO to lose 15 lbs!also, you can drink slimming tea or supplements to help with losing more weight. but you dont need to do that if you eat dont eat meat or cakes or anything other than those mentioned above to lose 15 lbs. goodluck!

Eat lots of fruits/veg obviously. limit your take on calcium and protein (only if you re doing this for a short while) but make sure you re getting a couple servings a day. Drinks LOTS of water...and only eat whole grains. throw out that white bread, pasta, and rice for GOOD cause all it is empty calories and making you fatter. my strategy is run alot. lift weights every other day. eat a diet of meat , carbs (noodles , pasta , rice) and fruits. this is a tasty diet that will give you the energy for all the exercise. it works for me but i dont know about you

First if you already haven t, switch to diet soda. That made me lose at least 10 pounds in the first month because i drank so many! Diet Dr. Pepper is my favorite, that s the only one i found that doesn t taste diety. But water would be a better choose. Then i eat lean cuisine meals. Around 3 a day and i give myself set times to eat. Just because i found that i eat out of boredom, not hunger. So you don t really have to that. They aren t that expensive, at my walmart they are 2 for 4$. For snacks i eat those 100 calorie packs, pickles, almonds, dried fruit, cereal bars...i mean the list goes on. There is tons of food/snack food that are low fat/calories you just have to look a little bit harder. Ive just now started walking on the treadmill too, usually about 1 or 2 miles a day. That s all for work outs, haha. I limit myself to 1000 calories a day. So far i tend to lose round 5 LBs a week.
