The first thing is, CONTROL YOUR EATING.Eat slowly and eat small portions. DO NOT SNACK.It is that simple, but it s not easy. You can t exercise if you are full and always digesting food.Exercise after you have learned how to feed yourself. But, think about it. If there were really any other HUGE reasons that people were overweight, then would stomach stapling work as well as it does? You are fat because of your diet. Period. End of discussion.Everyone will tell you what you want to hear, because they are selling something. Your eating isn t an addiction. It is not an illness. Your weight isn t glandular or just how you are.Stop eating crap. Let yourself be in a state of moderate hunger most the time. You will need to learn how to ignore your stomach and listen to your blood sugar. There are many signals that tell you when and what to eat, learn to listen to them and not your stomach. The other big thing you need to do is this, don t use food as a treat. If you want to enjoy yourself, or feel pleasure, don t use food. Don t be that person who works hard all week, and then cancels out the week s work by eating a reward of food.Don t use artificial sweeteners. They will make it harder. Artificial sweeteners make you accustomed to high levels of sweetness. This is bad for two reasons: first, you seek out things that are increasingly sweeter; second, healthy foods like apples seem bland after you have bludgeoned your tongue with aspertain all day.I have a friend who has lost 60 pounds in 6 months and is healthy. After 4 months, he allowed himself a meal as a treat and found that he couldn t finish it.
Try Dr. Love s Fiber Diet. Eat only foods high in fiber and you ll loose the weight. Simple as that.

limit calorie intake to 1500 a day or slightly below. Follow with 30 minutes of exercise a day, low impact like walking to start off with. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, more if you can manage it.Sample Day of Meals would be:Breakfast(7am): 1 pack of instant oatmeal, glass of water, 1 piece of wheat bread toastedSnack(9:30am) 100 calorie pack of oreos, chips ahoy, etc. and waterLunch(12:00): Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers frozen meal, watersnack: (3:00) 100 calorie pack of chips/cookies, or some vegetables like celery, carrots, etc. whatever fits in your calorie countDinner(6:00) 1 boneless skinless chicken breast, green beans, salad with fat free dressingLate Night Snack only if you have NOT gone over your 1500 calories for the day. I skipped this snack.Notes: It will seem like it costs more at first to eat right, and it does, but once you learn how to manage your calorie intake you will find that you can eat healthy for a good price. It will not be easy, and you will feel hungry at times. That is ok, you should feel hungry =) Drink some water to help curb your appetite. Doing this you should lose from 2 to 4 pounds a week. Weigh yourself only once a week. don t do it day to day because the results will differ and you may get discouraged. After your body has adjusted to the diet and you have lost a decent amount of weight (12-15 lbs) you can step up the calorie count by 300 and increase your cardio exercise from 30 mins to 45 to an hour depending on how you feel afterwards. Hope this helps and good luck!!
