Both the Jenny Craig and the Nutrisystem works. They teach you how to eat right. With the Jenny Craig you have to fix your own meals and you meat regularly with a counselor, all this can become expensive. The Nutrisystem delivers your meals to you. This once again makes it very expensive. It is very convenient though, because it keeps you from just eating anything if you get home late and hungry. I find those are the times I just eat anything I can lay my hand on and if the meal is already there, you will probably eat it. This will prevent a lot of cheating. What is important here is that they both work because they teach you how to eat the correct food in the correct proportions. Food is not the problem, it is how much, how it is prepared and the right meal plans that is important. You should be able to get hold of cheaper plans that will give you the same benefit. It is nice though, having the correct meals delivered and if you can afford it, I would say go for it. You are sure to lose weight if you stick to it.I ve read a good quote somewhere it goes like this: Which is the best weight loss diet? The one you stick to! Unfortunately that is the point. As long as a diet consists of healthy, well balanced meals, any one will do. If you go to the two sites below you will find more info on a wide variety of diets and then you can make an informed decision of which one is right for you.
I suppose any system of weight loss will work if you stick with it long enough and follow the rules and guidelines. If your trying to loose weight, there s no reason why you can t eat pasta, pizza or icecream. It s all about portion control. Rather than choosing to down a 12 pizza yourself...just have a slice, and ask for non fat cheese, whole wheat dough, and healthier toppings. For pasta, there s yummy whole wheat pastas out there that can be topped with diced tomatoes rather than coated in spaghetti sauce. And ice cream...why not allow yourself a treat :) Just because your dieting doesn t mean that you cannot treat yourself to something small. It s like a reward for being good, and doing what s right.Jenny Craig will cost about $400.00 a month and the first 1/2 of it, you have to buy their pre-packaged foods. The 2nd half your able to cook your own meals. I m not too sure about nutrisystem. I do know that both are based on portion control.Good Luck!
