How can I lose weight fast? -

So, Prom is on its way and i would like to lose maybe 15 lbs. but i have been having trouble losing that last little bit of weight and i only have a month left!! pls and thanks!

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. Vary your routines. Don t eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. ok, I am so an expert, so trust this advise!First, lets get this straight! DO NOT stop eating! That slows down your metabolism so you will actually GAIN weight! here is a list of what to do:1. Drink A LOT of water! (maybe 5-6 water bottles a day or more!)2. Eat allot of fruits and vegetables. (such as- apples, grapes, bananas, strawberries, carrots, and CELERY is great!) 3. This is very important, eat small, healthy snacks through outthe day, the only MEAL you should have is a good breakfast that is full of fiber. ______________Well, that was what you need to EAT DRINK, now lets talk exersise.1. go on runs atleast 3times a week.2. How can i lose weight.. fast? -

help!! i wanna lose weight but quick..im a size 18 and want to be a size 12- 14...:( any tips/ ideas to help me lose weight quicker? x

in the morning if you can wake up pretty early, thats when you have the most energy! drink a bottle of water plug in your ipod or whatever and listen to music as you run! -- thats my first step.Then you go home, eat a really healthy breakfast like fruit salad or something thats nutritonal. After that you pretty much clean the house or whatever maybe take a walk while its cool, walk your pet dog, if you have one, i like to spend the morning doing that while its not so hot outside!After that you wait a few hours being active as can be, then you relax a little and do some sit ups and lift weights to your own schedule... and your own statistics like weight height goals.. or whatever.. thats what i usually do! And then i like to stretch at the beginning of the day.. hahaMORE TIPS: chew gum - sugar free. It makes you not snack because if you chew it, you dont want to snack because then you will have to spit out your gum! works for me.. thats my trick tip - now read the losing weight 411EXTRA: breathing for an hour burns 60 calories, so thats a little lift off your chest hahaand sleeping is the same rate :)excersise at least 60 minutes a day if you can :)-------hey, you know what? The most unexpensive weight loss thing to do, is to try to burn more calories than you eat, dont eat unhealthy like a 500 calorie diet! Stay away from starchy and high carb foods - mostly white things. Bread is a bad, so try to stick to thin, HIGH in fiber, slices :) you can google all the stuff and before you know it you will feel so good about it all and IM actually excited to start working out and all that, just because I know what it will do for me!but if you must go with a diet, try Weight Watchers, its the only one I actually recommend. :)

Well..if your really serious about the whole losing weight thing..then you should watch the calories you eat. Eat Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and supper. Ditch the in between meals. Skip fast food (as much as possible), try not stuff yourself with biscuits, candy and high fat stuff.Make sure you exercise...Either..* Exercise either everyday for half and hour eg. jogging in the morning, running on the tread-mill.* Or go swimming, do a few laps front-crawl is the best. * Or..Brisk walking for 20 mins or so twice a day.* Take up dance class, basketball, tennis (a sport) with some friends (fun and you ll lose weight too)Don t forget your stretching everyday... push-ups (if you can) and sit-ups (about 40-50) every second day.You can t lose it quicker but you can lose it :)

Eat 3 times a day, I usually ate oats in the morning, a fruit in the afternoon, and a salad with tuna for dinner and you can have snacks throughout the day like fruits or yogurt. Don t eat NOTHING after 6:00 (that helps a lot), and I also ran everyday for about 60 minuts and did weight traing everyday 5 days a week. Thats how I lost around 15 pounds very shortly.

okay so im 13 and weigh 112. im really fat and when i sit down my fat makes a big ball under neath my stomach and look fatter. I need help to lose weight fast. please help i dont care if its safe or not. thanks

Unless you are shorter than 4 9 you are not fat. You are probably just overly anxious about your body because you re a typical teenager, and all teenagers worry about that kind of stuff. EVERYBODY looks fatter when they re sitting down. On TV and in magazines they have all of these editing tricks to make people look perfect but it s all fake so don t buy into it.

If you don t care if your safe or not, then simply cut out the fat with a knife. it might result in death, and will result and scars, but you don t care right? Or you could eat absolutely nothing and die a different way. Or you could take pills to prevent your body from absorbing anything, and die a different way. I m being harsh here for a reason, that you might understand the severity of what you re asking. Don t kid yourself, the point isn t to loose weight. The point is to look good (to others or yourself). If you want to do that, then you want to be healthy. If you want to be healthy, Eat when your hungry and exercise to have fun. Smile and walk quickly wherever you go. Learn all there is that you could want to know anything about. Then you ll make friends easier, and have a much better perspective on life. On top of that, at 13 you re still growing. Fat will all but disappear as you grow older, simply because your body will need that energy. This is like the tadpole loosing it s tail to become a proper frog. I understand a bit of what it s like to want to do anything to loose weight. It s especially bad at that age. You can get through it though, because we re built tougher than that.

It s not hard to pile on the calories. Have a morning latte and scone and this could be half your calories for the day. We need to resort back to whole foods, US has become fat because we eat bad. Everything is bigger! Stay away from refined sugar, white flour, unhealthy oils and sodas and don t eat late and you ll start to see a difference.If you want to get desperate, I once ate nothing but grapefruit for breakfast, tuna sandwich lunch and dinner and melted the weight off quicker than 3 months. Because when you eat only once a day, your metabolism gets slower than it already is! That s the main reason. Sounds funny, but to lose weight... you must eat (the right things, of course) ? Eat low-fat, high-fiber foods such as salads and vegetable pastas.? Your last meal should be before 18:00. Try. OK, one apple after 18:00 ? Don t starve Starvation is not good for losing weight, nor your health. Starvation is the worse thing you can do in a weight loss diet. ? Try oatmeal instead of cornflakes for breakfast--eating oatmeal can help reduce cholesterol levels, and its high fiber content will keep you full longer.WHAT to drink for losing weight... ? Drink 6-8 glasses of water every day ! Can be tap, plain, mineral, sparkling. I just love mineral sparkling water! This improves your bowel, reduces the hunger sensation, and hydrates your skin. Eat several small meals rather than three big ones- your body will be able to use what your taking in verses use some and storing the rest. Don t eat within two hours of going to bed. What is the best way to lose weight FAST???!? -

For a girl that weighs 136 and is 5 5 but has 29 percent body fat. Please help!

ok look......get some running shoes and sweat pants and run everyday............you can star out by walking half way and running the rest.....when you run make sure you kind of step on your tip toes dont put to much weight on the whole foot....running is the best exercise or walking.....but running makes you very strong. and i guarantee that if you do a mile everyday and eat right.....*what i mean by eat right is eat a lot of fruits and try not to eat to much fat but dont stop eating and drink lots of water*if you do this i bet u after 2 weeks you will see great resultsbut **** u cant stop, once u start keep doing it everyday* it works.....good luck also jumping rope helps a lot *i do 100 everyday*

Which makes you lose weight faster, walking/running or bicycling? -

u will burn more calories by running fast for 20 min than u would bicycling fast for 20 min. it really depends on the intesity because if you are walking slow but u can cycle fast then cycling would probably be better. as long as you go fast either one is a very good weight loss tool

I would say that whichever exercise, you, personally, can endure for the longest periods of time would be the best. The key to losing weight in exercise is to keep the heart rate up for longer and longer amounts of time. So if you can walk for longer than you can run do that.
