How do I lose weight fast? I am a smoker and need help? -

I am a smoker. I have a ton of belly fat. I weigh about 160 would like to be around 115 as soon as I can. What s the best way to lose weight. I would like to excerise but am scared about the extra activites combined with my smoking habit on my heart and body. please help.

go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on yourinitial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don t eat wheat then you don t eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you don t eat junk food, and you don t eat biscuits. But your diet isstill balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or to buy special meals or plans.an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on astool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture, for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make surethat it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or youwill damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of yourbody back, until it s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second andmove it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week addto the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week, guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - sixpack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than thesecrunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results ATALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

I m getting married in oct and I need to lose some weight. I have lost lots of weight in the past but let myself gain twenty pounds back :( now I m engaged and gettiing married help!

try running daily.

A good way to lose weight is the jumping rope, the one boxers use, that combined with some abs workout can do wonders.

Try eating smaller helpings. Try buying the boost drinks and having them for your breakfast and lunch and eat a sensible dinner. We all like to eat so try your best. He will love you no matter what.

I won t tell you to stop eating, but only to make better choices. This can be very difficult when you re under so much stress, but if you re dedicated you can do it. I m a vegetarian and soon to be raw foodist. Ever since I stop eating meat I ve been losing the weight like that. I don t really get hungry because I keep myself active. I don t just mean sports or exercise either. I just plan my day, and keep myself busy. If I were you I would at least jog in the morning even if only for a mile, (not treadmill). Eat 3 leaves of kale, a banana, grapes, a hand full of spinach, and blue berries for breakfast. I take Spirulina three times a day. Spirulina is not a dieting pill. It s a blue-green algae that supplies your body with every thing it needs. It s also known as the nearly perfect food of the future. Drink lots of clean water ( not tap). Just do this everyday, and you should be fine. When I get hungry I munch on a mixture of dried goji berries, pine nuts, and cacao. I sometimes sweeten it with raw honey. Im not telling you, you have to do this, but I think it would help. I hope I have helped you.

This is what worked for me. My Dr. recommened The Medifast Diet. It is Soy Protein. It teaches you to eat 5-6 small meals a day every 2-3 hours to speed up your metabolism. You need a good combination of aerobic activity and resistance training combined with a healthy diet.It is not recommended to lose more than 1-3 lbs a week. If you want to lose weight the correct and safe way that will stay off for the long-term you need a good exercise and nutrition plan.A good program looks like this:Always warm up and cool downMuscular strength endurance-you need a good resistance training program that includes exercises for all muscle groups(hips, chest, upper and mid back, legs (quads and hamstrings), shoulders, lower back, upper arms (biceps and triceps), calves, forearms, abdomen, and the gluteus maximus).Your intensity should be 70-80% 1-RM or 8-12-RM, 8-12 reps, 1 or more sets, 3 times a week for 6 weeks or more. You should begin with 1 exercise for each major muscle group and make sure the days you do resistance training are not consecutive meaning you don t exercise the same muscle group two days in a row. As you continue your program you can add more exercises, add weight, and change up your program to include more days or just work specific muscle groups on specific days. As your muscles grow stronger you will be able to reduce the rest time between each set. You should rest for about 30 seconds between sets. Muscle is metabolically active and therefore when you gain muscle it burns more calories and helps to raise your metabolism.Cardiovascular Endurance-this is where you can burn fat the most and that leads to enhancing your muscles such as the abs. You need to include a warm-up and cool-down. I have an extensive answer on this section if you would like to read ithttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;Body Composition-this includes your body fat percentage, bone frame, as well as how much muscle you have. Most people focus on only weight, but you should not put as much focus on that as much as what your body fat percentage is (get it tested at an exercise facility with skinfold calipers). You should also get circumference measurements done. This includes your neck, shoulder, chest, waist, abdominal, hip (buttocks), thigh (proximal), thigh (mid), thigh (distal), knee, calf, ankle, arm (bicep), forearm, and wrist. You should be able to do this at a gym. You should get all of this information done before you start your program and then you can see how you improve.Flexibility- Most people do not even think about this, but it is very important because it helps to prevent injury and it helps you to perform every day activities. It also has an effect on all your other programs. You should perform 10-12 flexibility exercises every day. Slowly stretch the muscle to a point of mild discomfort but not necessarily pain. Hold stretch for 10-30 seconds, and do 3-5 reps for each stretch. This should take about 15-30 minutes per session. If you do not have time to do this every day, try to do it 2-3 times a week.You have to make sure that you eat right and that means following the food guide pyramid. I have another answer that discusses thishttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;

naturally- eat smaller portions of healthier, yet not rabbit, food. only eat 3 meals a day and say no to any snacks in between. and exercise that makes u outta breath for an hour a day.

I need to lose as much weight as I can as quickly as possible! Help?

firstly it is bad for you to loose to mcuh weight very fast, there could be several health risks. Your skin could sag and you are likely to put the weight back on. But im just here to help. so to lose weight really fast cut the amount of food your eating in half. Have 5 meals a day instead of 3 but these 5 meals should be very small. Drink water and lots of it, water detoxs you body and fills you up. Most people eat when they are thirsty so it is essentail to drink plenty of water. With this diet you must also exercise. I recommend cardio vascular exercise, this works you heart and lungs and will help to lose weight. I recommend swimming jogging walking and cycling. To lose weight even faster stop smoking, drinking alchol and coffe. Take a healthy alternative like herbal tea or a fruit smoothie. Fruit smootheis are one of the best ways to lose weight. Use probiotic yougurt and no sugar but instead honey and fruit and ice and blend it all and you get a delicious healthy fruit smoothie which is both healthy and filling.I hope this helps

what works for me is to partially juice fast, with perhaps a small meal of fresh fruit, lots of herbal tea, a large salad for supper, and at least an hour of exercise every day. You can also have lean proteins like chicken breast, salmon and tuna with your salad. Also it helps to properly combine your meals: don t eat both carbos and proteins together, but rather have either one combined with vegetables. For example, instead of having chicken, rice and a vegetable, have the chicken, veg and a salad, OR have the rice and veg and a salad. For snacks, have things like celery and cucumber that are full of water, with perhaps a small handful of nuts to keep you feeling satisfied.cheers!

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://thebestcleansingdiet.com

Do a master cleanse, http://therawfoodsite.com/ and I guarantee that you will lose weight.A perhaps less radical approach would be to do a juice fast and work out hard.

exercise 5-6 times a week for 1 hour.. and diet consists of salad, lean meats, fruit, nuts, and whole grains.

I need to lose weight fast. includes calorie intake, bmi, and calories burned a week.? -

normally, i dont eat lunch on a weekday.because the lines at my cafeteria are ******* crazy long.weekends i eat all three meals.i want to lose 10-20 lbs. bmi: 22.9current weight: 121 lbs.height: 5 1on a weekday-calorie intake: 120- 400i burn 270 or more calories in a week. please dont say im skinny, because you havent even seen me.

see a doctor, or trainer at a gym for a perfect, CUSTOMIZED diet and exercise program to meet your goals.

If you really want to lose weight then try eating 5-6 small meals a day. eat pleanty of healthy snacks like fresh fruit and veggies. Fiber and whole grain, that kind of stuff. Exercise most of the days of the week. have one day when you give your body a rest. always eat breakfast and if you dont want to buy your lunch then pack, because if you eat a lot of healthy foods your metabolism speeds up. muscle also speeds up your metabolism.

you are not skinny but you are not overweight too. i know you want to look good. i could give you some help but don t go below 100 lbs okay. i don t believe your calories intake daily is only 120 -400 calories. even chicken popcorn has almost 400 calories and some bagel could reach 300 calories. so you need to check back what you eat. target for 1500 calories a day. 270 calories to burn on one week is too low. jogging in place in 30 min alone could let you burn 200 calories. if you could do that so very easy routine everyday for a week you could lose 1400 calories. so don t waste this opportunity. so stay healthy and good luck. if you need more weight loss stuff you can check out my site.

You re 14 get over it. Exercise and eat healthy and you will be off to the best start there is. Health isn t all about being skinny, I was in better shape than many of my friends when I was 50-75 lbs heavier then them at your age.

Hey, you re into good start. For many who have successfully lost weight will tell you that not only its is important to watch what you eat, but the weight loss effort will be half a success if you do not include a regular or routine exercise programme. The exercise programme shall includes cardiovascular exercises and strength training.Cardio exercises will burn calories and lower body fat, furthermore it will also strengthen the heart and lungs.Good examples of cardiovascular activities:Brisk walking Running Swimming Cycling Rowing Rope jumping

More exercise. Try joining a sports team. even if you re not good at that sport, just show up to practises and try outs. It s a free work out with your friends. Also, try to find some health magazines in your locol library. They re packed with more information than anyone here is willing to type up.

How to lose weight fast, not gaining alot of weight, and without taking pills,or buying exersize stuff? -

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, whichwill lead to increase of weight, or muscle growunderneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet withoutexercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. Fordiet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no foodafter 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending onyour initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. Ifyou don t eat wheat then you don t eat all those sticky, fatty goeycakes, you don t eat junk food, and you don t eat biscuits. But yourdiet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have tocalculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising, start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is themost efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight alot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to targetyour problem areas for men and women. It s not necessarily to become abodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help youto target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Stock your refrigerator with low-fat yogurt. A University of Tennessee study found that people who cut 500 calories a day and ate yogurt three times a day for 12 weeks lost more weight and body fat than a group that only cut the calories. The researchers concluded that the calcium in low-fat dairy foods triggers a hormonal response that inhibits the body s production of fat cells and boosts the breakdown of fat.

Hi!I have found a great blog with a story of a woman who lost weight in a healthy and easy way. It was an eye-opener for me. Ive tried it and I must admit that the results amazed me. I lost more than 30 pounds so far and I feel better than ever. So, what is this diet about? Well, it teaches you how to stay healthy while losing weight. It is so easy when you know how to do it, and in a long run it shows much better results, because after other diets Ive tried before you just get that fat back. The thing is, you have to eat a few times a day, not starve. Because when you are not eating, your body stores fat and it is much harder to lose weight. When you eat, and you know what and when and how, your body will know that there is food around so it wont store fat C it will burn it!Here are some hints from Bettys blog:1.The diet creates meal plans and recipes just for you. 2.You are able to eat a few times a day, which means that you are not starving yourself! 3.The diet is based upon calorie shifting and shows you what you are doing wrong. Betty Winter in her blog explains it all.4.What is most important, you are able to buy all the food in a local store. There is no need for some expensive fancy food that promises miracles, but does nothing at all. 5.It teaches you how to lose bad eating habits. As I told you, this diet is an eye-opener and it works. With the proper guidance all the way through the diet, it is so easy and you can do it too. It can all be found online, as Betty describes. So, if you wish to learn more about this easy healthy diet, check Bettys blog, its in my source. Good luck!

1. Eat about 6 small complete meals throughout the day (fish, almonds, walnuts, and lean proteins in general, plenty of raw fruits and vegetables, and complex multigrain carbohydrates) spaced out about every 2-3 hours. Consume between 1500-2500 calories a day. DO NOT BINGE EAT!2. Be as active as you can; nothing to do for 10 minutes? Knockout 10 elevated push-ups.3. Eat some spicy foods; take a decent amount of vitamin C, and drink between a half-gallon and a whole gallon of WATER a day.4. No more soda. Ever.5. If you do drink coffee, drink it black.6. Do at least 35 minutes of cardio straight at least once a day, at least three times a week, more if you are not trying to put on muscle.7. Do a large amount of full body exercises whenever possible (Jumping Jacks, Pull-ups, Chin ups, dips, squats, hanging leg raises, hanging knee raises, back raises, glute ham raises, burpees)8. Get at least 6 hours of sleep a night, but no more then 9.9. Avoid anything deep-fried, white bread, sprinkles, and any refined sugar. You can find more good info at http://www.crossfit.com and http://www.bodyrock.tv

Close out the kitchen after dinner. Wash all the dishes, wipe down the counters, turn out the light, and, if necessary, tape closed the cabinets and refrigerator. Late-evening eating significantly increases the overall number of calories you eat, a University of Texas study found. Stopping late-night snacking can save 300 or more calories a day, or 31 pounds a year.

Order the smallest portion of everything. If you re ordering a sub, get the 6-inch sandwich. Buy a small popcorn, a small salad, a small hamburger. Studies find we tend to eat what s in front of us, even though we d feel just as full on less.

Use nonfat powdered milk in coffee. You get the nutritional benefits of skim milk, which is high in calcium and low in calories. And, because the water has been removed, powdered milk doesn t dilute the coffee the way skim milk does.

How can I lose weight fast? -

I used to be very thin weighing in at 117 pounds and looking good but over the past six months i have gained weight and i weigh 135. I m only a teenager and it s not healthy the way i look. I really need some dieting plan or something. I have wide hips and thick thighs and chunky over muscular arms. Please anyone help me.

1. Drink plenty of water. Our body needs a lot of water so give in to water. Water is not just way to flush out toxin but if you have more water in your body you will generally feel healthier and fitter. This it self will discourage any tendency to gorge. The best thing about water is that is has no calories at all.2. Start your day with a glass of water. As soon as you wake up, gulp down a glass of cool water. Its a wonderful way to start you day and you only need a lesser quantity of your breakfast drink after that. A glass of water lets out all your digestive juices and sort of lubricates the insides of your body. You may have your morning cup of tea but have it after a glass of water. It is good for you.3. Drink a glass of water before you start the meal. Water naturally needs some space so that you feel fuller without actually having to stuff yourself.4. Have another glass of water while you are having the meal. Again this is another way of making yourself full so that you can actually rise from the table eating less but feeling full just the same. Instead of drinking it one gulp, take sips after each morsel. It will help the food to settle faster so that you get that feeling that you are full faster. SIDENOTE: Water is such a remarkable thing, but seldom do we give it the credit that it deserves. Did you know that over 66% of your body weight is nothing but water Its amazing! Water also plays a vital role in weight control, which is why I donated so much space to it, above.5. Stay away from sweetened bottle drinks, especially sodas. Hey all those colas and fizzy drinks are sweetened with sugar and sugar means calories. The more you can cut out on these sweetened bottle drinks, the better for you. So if you must drink sodas, then stick to diet sodas.6. Include in your diet things that contain more water like tomatoes and watermelons. These things contain 90 to 95 % water so that there is nothing that you have to lose by feasting on them. They fill you up without adding to the pounds.7. Eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice. Juice is often sweetened but fresh fruits have natural sugars. When you eat fruit, you are taking in a lot of fiber, which is needed by the body, and fruits of course are an excellent source of vitamins.8. If you do have a craving for fruit juice then go for fresh fruit juice instead of these that contain artificial flavors and colors. Or even better, try making your own fruit juice taking care not to sweeten it with too many calories.9. Choose fresh fruit to processed fruits. Processed and canned fruits do not have as much fiber as fresh fruit and processed and canned fruits are nearly always sweetened.10. Increase your fiber intake. Like I mentioned, the body needs a lot of fiber. So try to include in your diet as many fruits and vegetables as you can.11. Go crazy on vegetables. Vegetables are your best bet when it comes to losing pounds. Nature has a terrific spread when it comes to choosing vegetables. And the leafy green vegetables are your best bet. Try to include a salad in you diet always

I find for the temptation of food is always there, sometimes i ll eat even when im not hungry. For me chewing gum really works!. Chewing on sometimes makes you forget about wanting eating something. My diet plan is weetabix and a piece of fruit for breakfast, fruit and raw jelly for a mid-morning snack, ryvita/crackers and an apple for lunch and fish/meat and veg for dinner.

At your age, exercise is key. Get out and run, jump, dance, or whatever you like to do.If you don t like to exercise, there is always methamphetamine.PS. Joking about the meth. Don t flag me please.

6 small meals, drink only water and milk. stay away from crappy food, eat healthy

Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we ve known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one. In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. Vary your routines. Don t eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. You will lose weight much more efficiently if you mix things up from time to time so that your body doesn t adjust to any one routine. An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc. Here are a few helpful links.http://www.nutrawatch.com/http://www.caloriesperhour.com/http://www.helpguide.org/life/healthy_eahttp://www.wikihow.com/Lose-Weight-the-Hhttp://weightloss.about.com/cs/fitness/ahttp://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/fe
