I am also starting a 1200-1400 calorie diet with lots of fruits and veggies and limited amounts of meat, which isnt that unusual for me, bcuz i just dont like meat that much. any way, to the question does this sound like it will be an effective and healthy weight loss plan, also how long do you think it will take to reach my goal it if follow this plan??? thanks for your help

The weight loss programs usually adopt a holistic approach. The more, the merrier - all facets of life are necessary and better together than alone. Dieting or fasting alone is not the best means to reduce your body weight. The ideal weight loss programs usually combine a sensible diet (to shed weight) along with fifteen minutes of daily exercise (to lose the extra inches). The key to successful weight loss is to make enduring changes in your eating habits and lifestyle. If you really want your weight loss programs to be effective, you must feel strongly about it and adhere to the weight loss programs full-time. Do not despair if you stop losing pounds after a certain period or level of shedding weight. This is a weight plateau that most people hit, and is usually a transitory phase. For more effective tips on reducing weight, you can read abt them here: http://weight-loss.best-health-remedy.co

Helpful Tips for weight loss:1)A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watchKeep to a 1,200 food intakeAdd 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) ...and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn t seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight.I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 1272) Most people do not get enough water in their system. Water is your body s principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don t have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. To determine if you are getting enough water use this simple formula.. Take your weight, for example 150 pounds and divide by 2. Take your answer which is 75 lbs and change it to ounces, in this case 75 ounces. That is how many ounces of water you need a day. Your body performs mostly on water. If you make sure you get enough water everyday your body will perform at top notch and your body will no longer have the cravings of junk food. You will have a better performing body system to help you work out and feel better thru out your day.

Your exercise and diet is fine. Just cut your simple carbs, fast food and junk.I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.Details such as meals, recipes, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blogXiaozhen

Most important thing you can do is this:1-eat every 2-3 hours (1-200 cal)--this speeds up your metabolism and keeps it moving. If you don t do this, your metabolism shuts down and stores fat.2-eat only protein and vegetables.......get your fiber from nuts. Do NOT have any fruit-it will take you out of ketosis (highest state of fat burning).....Have NO bread, pasta, carbs.......again, your only carbs should be from nuts and veggies.3--limit your dairy. Only cottage cheese and goats milk.4--drink a minimum of 8 8 oz. glasses of water a day5--limit caffeine--caffeine destabilized your blood sugars and causes you to eat.6-- get to sleep no later than 10pm....your body rebuild itself between the hours of 10pm-6am........sleeping 11-7 isn t the same.7--don t eat after a certain time of day.......if you are hundry, have herbal tea or something light-1oo calories max.8--cook in olive oil and make sure you don t over do on fats.9--move your body-walk, exercise......do a minimum of 30 min. every day.10--stay away from stress......stress releases a chemical that makes your body store fat.My doctor taught me all of these things and I ve lost 30 pounds in 2 months.Good luck.
