Am i fat? ? -

I am a 14 year old girl who is 4 10 and weighs 119 pounds. I am a size 7 in most dresses/pants and a medium or large in most shirts. Most of my fat is in my stomach. I would like honest opinions please and if you think i am fat some weight loss tips please

Your BMI is about 25, so yes, you are overweight. Does this mean you re fat? That depends upon your body fat percentage. If it s over 20%, then probably.

No you re not (:But you sound paranoid.And I totally know what it s like being paranoid about my weight.Well..sometimes.My weight loss tip is eat healthy, lots of fruits/ veggies.Go for a simple walk 30 minutes a day.And don t cross out junk food, just limit yourself, you know?Like you can snack just don t go overboard and totally pig out.For 2 weeks I lost 11 pounds just by jogging 30 minutes a day, and eating healthy. I lost all my baby fat and I have thin legs, and a flat stomach.And for everyone who agrees that a person at 4 10 should weigh like 90 pounds.Are you serious?We all can t be perfect. Just accept that fact. We all can t be the same.

This is exactly the question that i want to ask.I am fourteen aswell and i am five foot five and i have been told by my doctor that i am normal weight for my age. I mean i take a UK size like fourteen to eighteen. I am not sure what country you are from so i am not sure what size a seven is so i can t really comment.If your shirt size is big it s most likely because you have a big chest area which is quite normal in some girls.So basically i think that you are going through a growing stage and you will most likely be ok when you stop growing.If you feel that you are fat then perhaps do more excercise or eat healtheir.If you are worried about your weight you could always go to a doctor and ask what is a healthy weight for someone your age.Hope this helpsNicolex

You are not fat! If you got a little poooch in your tummy, it shouldn t be to hard to shed off a few pounds. Don t get this Am I fat idea in your head because that s what leads to anorexia and bulimia. Trust me because I developed anorexia and it is NOT fun. It was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. I didn t think I was, it took me 4 years to realize and recover from the disorder and I was your age when it all started. So just be careful! If you want to shed off a few pounds I would recommend to increase your exercise activity (play some sports, go to the gym, take an aerobics class), eat fewer sweets (every once and a while it s okay to treat yourself...like try once a month while your trying to loose some weight. Once you re down a few pounds, like once a week is reasonable...just don t go out of control), and eat your veggies, and NO fast food!!!hope this helps :)

Trust me, you are not fat at all!Sizes at stores are completely arbitrary and vary so much from store to store that there is almost no point. Everyone has fat somewhere - and I can promise you that even the people you think are skinny have something about their bodies they are probably not happy with.You are not fat, so please don t ever doubt that and don t do anything to change. The best thing that you can do for yourself is love yourself, I promise (and I speak from personal experience.)

Your not fat. But you could loose a little pounds.If you eat breakfast and lunch and a small dinner, you will loose weight faster. You burn calories a lot faster during the day then at night, so big dinnners are not to good if you would like to loose some weight.Also, Wii s are pretty fun, and Wii fit is a fun way to track your progress and stay in shape.You could also try jogging. Maybe after school?

I think what s more important than whether or not other people think you re fat is if you do. When people have a poor body image, they will think they are fat no matter what anyone else says. More important to be healthy: better to have a body in shape than to worry about the shape of your body! Stop judging yourself based on the images you see in a magazine and learn to love yourself.

yes you are a little over weight.. at 4 foot 10 you should weight around 90 lbs.. jogging, workout and eat healthy and less food but dont starve.. do a hour of cardio every day and half hour to a hour working out every other day.. except for sat and sunday..2 eggs and toast or oat meal for breakfast, and a veggie sandwich for dinner, and a small snack once or twice a day.. drink green tea and take vitamins with a lot of b vitamin in it..

I hate to come off as parental, but your only 14, your body is still growing. You don t even sound fat. Stop worrying about your weight and focus on being a healthy, beautiful, young girl. You still have a lot of life ahead of you don t spend it being obsessing over your weight.

hahah no offense but yeah. maybe you could try exercising everyday but you have to do different exercises after a week because your muscles get used to the same thing so you have to change iup. Maybe try eating healthier food and not snacking as much. and btw im not trying to mean im want to help

your 119 pounds! no way! i mean if you feel you are, then just snack less and eat healthier, work out a little, even 20 sit ups a night will help. Also if you drink soda, try ice tea or water. Simple things like that and before you know it you will look better. Just remember it takes time, so dont give up! Good luck!

well...i wouldn t say your fat. you should weigh somewhere around 105-110 pounds. do u play any sports? if not...i suggest doing a hip hop dance class. other than that, go running, along with whatever sports u do...it burns a lot of calories. i dont think u need to worry too much though, 10 lbs does not make u fat =D

No! Not at all :) You probably just havn t had a gowth spurt, considering you are only 4 10 . If you want to decrease the size of your stomach a little, don t try to loose weight, just eat more friuts and veggies and do some sit-ups. But sweetie, your not fat.

I really don t think that you are fat. Your smaller than me.Lol.Don t listen to what people have to say about you.If you want to lose a couple pounds just watch what you eat and maybe do some crunches at night. Crunches really do help!Hope this helps.

no, i have fat in my stomach too. Its not a big deal, as long as you are healthy, and you think that you are healthy, than you are fine,I work out doing crunches, pushups, stuff to get Abs and your fat will go away. I am working on the same stuff too.

get your body fat percentage analyzed first before answering that question...such services are done either by dieticians or by fitness trainers...

You are right at the dividing line between normal weight and overweight.If you want to lose weight you need to do the exercise and avoid the simple carbs and the saturated fats. Eat 5-6 times per day, 3-400 calories at a time.

No, but you re crazy short. Keep eating well and cross your fingers for that growth spurt. At 4 10 you re obviously still growing. Get on a diet that restricts your calories and prepare to be looking for adult clothing in the children s section when you re 30 as you stunt your growth. Once you get a little taller you ll find the weight has found appropriate places to go. Dieting has no place in an adolescent s life unless weight is a medical issue. You re not in that realm. Physical activity is always a good idea though.

No you are not fat! dont listen to some of these people. you are still too young. dont worry about it. You are still growing so just make sure you dont gain anymore weight and you ll be fine

not fat, but if you want to tone cut out alot of statrches like bread and wheat, and potatoes and do some work outs like wall kicks

For your height you are over your height weight nothing serious.

nope because im 16 and im 152 but i look like im only 120....i have fat on my sides like lovehandels...its just a body type

anything above a size 1 is fat. So yes you are.

no your not....and your still young so any belly fat will prob go away soon..
