How can I lose my belly? -

Anybody have any particular tips on this? It seems impossible to me. I only need to lose about 2 inches. I know it s hard to target a specific area (especially the stomach), so any weight loss tips would be appreciated. I m not really that big. People think I m skinny but I just want to fine tune my body so I won t have to wear hoodies all summer! thanks!

Disclaimer: this isn t medical advice! :-) Go and see your doctor for that!First of all before the crunches army reply you *can t* target particular areas for fat loss. Only muscle gain and toning. To lose that you re going to have to change what and when you eat, and do some low intensity cardiovascular exercise.Lets cover eating:You want 6 small low-glycemic index meals a day (to keep your blood sugar under control as this prevents insulin spikes and insulin instructs your fat cells to make new fat and stop burning the stuff you ve got! it also reduces the amount of cortisol you re exposed to. Cortisol programs your fat cells to divide (there ll be more of them) and take in more fat when they get a chance). Arrange a slight calorific deficit (couple of hundred callories)You ll also want to exercise for 25/35 minutes a day at arround 80% of your Max Heart Rate (MHR = 220 - age). If you exercise at a higher heart rate then:1. You won t last as long (your liver reserves of suger will run out faster and cardiovascular fitness will start to become limiting as well). If you exercise for longer than this, or this length of time at too high a heart rate:2. Your body will start using a cortisol stress response. Which will involve breaking down your muscles too....in addition to all the bad stuff we said about cortisol before hand (although that other stuff is more of a long-term exposure thing). So there you have it. You can t target it specifically. You ve got to target it with both diet and exercise.Crunches will help you tone it up once you get your body fat really low. Remember seeing abs is 97% about low body fat and 3% about crunches. As a tip - You probably won t see abs until your body fat hits 10% of your weight inclusive of water. Most relatively average folks are up at arround 18~21% fat.

citrus juice and fruits are supposed to be good

If you already have a proper diet, then all I can suggest is exercise.http://body.aol.com/fitness/abs/exercisesTry this :3

go on the special K diet

Cut back on the beer! :)Just find some toning exercises that target the abdomen, as well.
