hey ur 5 3 and 116 that is pretty good, u don t really need to lose weight, but we all want to lose weight. me too i want to lose weight. im 5 1 and 105 pounds. im 14 yrs old like you. I used to be 110. This is a pretty easy diet i tried. Oprah said one diet, dont eat after 8 o clock. But i changed it to 5. I tried this. For one week i just ate normal. But after 5 o clock , the kitchen is closed for me, i brush my teeth, don t eat anything just drink water. Maybe 2-3 cups everyday. Lost 5 pounds in one week. Your weight depends on ur height/genes u can t be 5 8 and be 100 pounds. I also tried running for 20 minutes and ablounge for 20 minutes. 3 days a week. Try to cut out the junk food. not completely. I m also trying to give up chocolate, i know it sounds crazy, just like to give myself a challenge. I mean think about it, when we eat junk food, think of all the trans fat, and the junk that we re putting in our bodies we don t need. IT sounds cheesy but im not saying don t eat any junk food at all. Limit yourself, try to make better food choices. BREAKFASTBreakfast is also the most important meal of the day. If you eat breakfast, you start your metabolism up and start burning calories. Try to eat a big breakfast rather than a big dinner, cuz eating a big breakfast u could burn the calories throughout the day cuz ur more active. If u skip breakfast, u can become hungrier and eat more during the end of the day, causing u to gain weight. It is better to go to bed hungry than full, cuz when u sleep, the food that ur body is still digesting, goes in storage as fat. Says here -- When you sleep, your body goes into a fasting metabolic state, and it conserves more fat -- like a bear in hibernation, explains clinical nutritionist Carol Forman Helerstein, Ph.D. (from teen VOGUE magazine) SKIPPING MEALSskipping and starving urself is easy but is also dangerous As with all starvation diets, metabolism will fall. A sensible diet-and-exercise plan must follow cessation of VLCD, or weight will be gained back. THE HUMAN BODY RESPONDS TO STARVATION BY DECREASING METABOLISM. WHEN FOOD IS AGAIN AVAILABLE, IT IS STORED IMMEDIATELY AS FAT. THIS SURVIVAL MECHANISM, WHILE A USEFUL RESPONSE RESPONSE TO GENUINE FOOD SCARCITY, LEAVES THE DIETER FEELING LETHARGIC AND FATIGUED. in other words when u starve urself, ur metabolism goes down meaning u don t really burn that much calories or fat because u r not taking in food in ur body which the body can use as energy from. Then, when food is available, n u start eatin again, the body stores it as fat, the body is smart enough to know that when u starve urself again it has a backup plan. hahah there. there is everything i know, I really hope it does help. Good luck!!.. . .Holla at me, if u need anything. ^__^these websites were really helpful. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dieting#Psychological_aspects_of_weight-loss_dietinghttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Healthy_diet
I am in the same boat. I think exercising as much as you can and pushing yourself...and eating fruits and veggies...and small meals. starving doesnt work in the long run and yeah thats about it. No easy way. It sucks. I know.
That s a good body weight lol, Maybe 5-7 pounds but 20 will bring you under 100 I wouldn t suggest it.

116 is a very healthy weight for a girl of fourteen. Losing 20 lbs would put you at about 16% body fat which is low, especially for someone of your age. I can understand the pressure of wanting to look pretty for when school starts [high school I assume], but part of being beautiful is being comfortable with yourself and your body. Instead of concentrating on losing pounds, if you are unhappy with a few extra inches here or there, just try to eat a healthy diet of fruits, veggie s and protiens, and begin a light excercise program to tone up a little bit. Excercise releases endorphins which will make you feel great. I personally reccomend getting a pilates ball [they are cheap] and finding some excercises online. Eating disorders are very dangerous and can be very common at this age, make sure that no matter what you do you don t starve yourself. Sure, its a fast way to drop a few pounds, but you put your health at a huge risk. Plus, when losing weight, if you don t eat enough, your body goes into starvation mode and then you will put on weight. A healthy meal plan and excercise will keep you lean and toned, but make sure you get enough calories. There is no way to lose weight fast and keep it off. A healthy rate of loss is 1-2 lbs a week. Good luck and stay safe.
You re not overweight. You don t need to lose that much. However, if you want to lose cut out any junk you are eating, be sure to eat lots of fruits, veggies, and drink your water. Then exercise even if it is just walking. The weight probably will not come off very fast though because you are currently at a healthy weight.
I just looked at you BMI, Body Mass Index and according to the figures you had better stay where you are and forget losing 20 pounds. At the figures you posted your BMI is 20.5, and listed as Healthy, at 106 pounds your BMI is 18.8 and is shown as UNHEALTHY
get over yourself, you re not Nicole Richie nor are you an Olsen twin you re really just looking for attention is all how pathetic and sad :(
You re a girl I m assuming? LolOkay well, you can have up to like 15 lbs of water weight on. I did because I lost it in like 2 weeks once I quit an anti depressant I was on. I don t know if periods cause this much but they do cause your weight to go up and to make you feel bloated/look bigger. Some people go up a jean size on their period.Your bmi is 20.5, meaning if you got down to 96 lbs your bmi would be 17. Mine was 17.5 and I was on deaths door. You seem to be the perfect size. I d KILL to be your height and weight. Take into consideration water weight, and your eating/exercise habbits -- not saying they re bad but not alot of people realize that some of the things they do that seem harmless actually do quite a bit of damage.Maybe you re not like pick thin, maybe you have some meat on your bones (I don t think it matters, your size is sooo gorgeous anyways!), so do some toning! It can make you look alot thinner.
Definitely, exercise and eat healthy. Exercise first thing in the morning, that will give you more energy throughout the day. Eat small frequent meals. If you are serious and dedicated, you can do it. You just need to stick to it. Visit www.bodybuilding.com Follow one of the teen s diets and fitness routines. Don t worry about bulking up though, it takes several months and endless hours of dedication and training to get big muscles. You can also sit in steam rooms and saunas to take off water weight. Be careful with this and don t starve yourself. You have time. Do it right.
