Does working out in the heat /actually/ make you lose weight faster? -

It s like.. a really warm day, and I was playin hacky sack for like nearly an hour, and it got difficult to keep it up. Like other nights we can play for a few hours, or at least an hour and a half. Today, it made me think about if it really helps you lose weight faster if you re out in the heat, cuz everyone says that s the way it is, but I was never really sure. I thought I would consult the Internet. ^-^Thank you.

yes, but playing hacky sack isn t working out. you get drunk faster in the heat, and that s not working out either.

well you are covered in more sweat because its hot and your body is trying to cool itself down. i don t know if you do or not, but when you sweat you sweat out toxins, so maybe in a way you are losing weight. also drinking a lot of water flushes your system and suppresses your appetitie and all. so maybe you are losing weight,-and if so, good for you!

No it just causes dehydration

Yes, but it is water weight. Your body is using more water to keep you cool, so you need to drink more water when you are out exerting yourself in the heat!

you only lose water due to perspiration. its not an actual weight loss. you gain it all back when you drink h20

Fresh air, tanned skin, toned muscles. Yes, working outside is the best possible exercise.

it sort of does, because you sweat more in the heat, however theweight loss is because ofdehydration, and will come back on as soon as you get rehydrated, the tiredness was caused by simply not having enough water in your body. Drink more when exercising or playing in the heat.

It makes you lose water faster, you dehydrate, therefore lose water weight. If you want to lose fat weight, exercise to about 70% your max heart rate for at least 40 minutes. It doesn t have to be out in the hot sun, even at night with a fan on, you ll lose weight. If yo uwant to find out your average heart rate take your age and subtract from 220, then multiply by .70, that s 70% of your max heart rate. Anything between 50% and 70% makes you lose weight.Make sure you drink lots of water if your sweating a lot. Sweat means you re losing water because the body needs to cool down. you must replenish the water you re losing due to sweat.

yes, because it ll make you sewat which will make you loose wight, duhh?

i work for a living in the heat....i think you only lose water weight...i have nt seem to lose any real amount of LB s..and it s been 8yrs!!!

No, of course not, if so, think of those fat persons in countries with an eternal summer near the equator line in our planet.Regards

You will definatley lose weight faster but it will be water not fat. However, working in the heat will make you fitter
