Weight Loss Tips/Advice? -

I ve been wanting to lose weight for a long time; I m about 5 4 and I weigh about 126-127..my goal is to tone up, shed fat, and lose weight..especially in my lower regions like legs and butt..help me out if you can in any way, thanks =)!

My advice is to treat yourself once a week. When you want something fatty, look at your stomach and your other problem areas and if you need to, stop for a second and think about it. Substitute coke for water. If you drink a lot of coke daily, cut down to one can a day and the rest drink water. Eat smaller portions and only eat when you are truly hungry. Try not to finish everything on your plate. Good luck!

To tone up, you really need to start doing some weight-lifting exercises. Lunges are a great one to tone your legs and butt. Also make sure to get in plenty of cardio. Both of those are important. However, another thing a lot of people don t realize is important is your fluid intake. If you are dehydrated (which a lot of people are, without realizing it), your body is going to retain fluid. If you consistently drink 8 glasses of water a day AT LEAST, your body will learn that it no longer needs to retain fluid because it is being kept hydrated. Drinking water also gets rid of your desire to snack- a lot of times, people think they are hungry when in reality they are just thirsty. Finally, eat healthy! THIS DOES NOT MEAN DIET!!! Diets are bad! Start off the morning with eggs, incorporate as many fruits, veggies and whole grains as you can throughout the day, and try to eat 5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones. Good luck!!

By walking that will help you lose weight in those areas-make it a brisk walk- and try to find someone to walk with- it goes much easier with a walking buddy- but if you really want to tone those areas up- use weights on your ankles- start with a small amount of weight and then build them more and more. You can even do this around your home and it will help without you giving it much effort- Good luck!

if you drink a lot of soda STOP! you can lose up to 10 pounds (if you drink a lot)try jogging 4 at least 20 a day.if you start working out go one day big workout one day small etc...if working out isnt your thing then stretch those target muscles.i knew a guy that would stretch for 2 hour every day he was ripped. but if you just wanna firm up you probably dont need 2 hours.to keep weight off:eat small frequent meals not one or 2 large ones.when eating try to imagine whats on your plate in your stomach. will it really fit in there?don t eat after 8pm. your body will automatically turn all that food into fat if you eat before you sleep.eat meat for lunch instead of dinner. meat takes the longest to digest so if you eat it for dinner your body wont get to it until you sleep that means automatic fat.just a few facts ive learned.

k well im 5 5 and 130 so i know what u mean u dont need to lose much weight ur at avg so dont go crazy try to get muscle by weight resistance and ab training it sheds more pounds if u do more reps less resistance or builds more muscle if do less reps more weight try weight training or push ups like 3-4x a week and different muscle groups u could even do everyday but diff muscle groups each time u do like 30mins of it if 3-4x a week 20min if everyday one day do chest and tricepts next day do back and bicepts stufff like that and u can do legs everyday but wont worry ur legs will tone with cardio do cardio 4-5x a week for 45mins of like running running is a great one but now make sure u eat right u could work out but diet is most important it depends on ur age idk teens usally eat more so teen guy like 2400cals teen girl 2000cals grown up guy about 2200cals and girl about 1800 make sure u dont go much less or more than that and eat alot of protein it takes the most cals to digest (65% of it goes to fat as fat cals 98% of it is stored as fat) so protein burns off more easily still have fats but not too much have about 75% protein to ur weight so if u weigh 100lbs have 75g of protein and get in good whole grain carbs fruit and good fats like peanut butter..yes peanuts and peanut butter almonds stuff like that even cookies but not everyday treat urself when ur doing good and try having like 4 meals a day 6 is tough if u can do six though then go ahead but that sometimes leads to more overeating..hope i helped

well if u want to tone up then u dont wanna loose any weight b ut if u wanna loose weight then tone u got gotta drop the pounds good idea is wear a bag over your stomach but dont run on a treadmill go out and run that way u are forced to run back the distance if u wanna get home treadmills tend to get u a little lasy sometimes when ur down to the weight u want eat normal and just work the ur legs or butt and that should tone it up

just cut down on the amount of sugar you eat.because sugar just causes weight gain in all the worst places.also, try jogging. that usually slims your whole body focusing on ur calves and thighs.and if you really want to get results, cut the fat content in your diet in half. this means no junk food, more greens less meat. that worked for me i lost 5 pounds in about 2-3 weeks

Try not finishing your food. I started losing weight just by leaving a little bit of food on my plate every time I ate.

well I d try am early morning jog or swim.. in the cold jog.. hot, swim.. always warm up and .........count calories..! don t buy unhealthy food .. try the special K thing

do sit ups, leg squats, and maybe do some walking/running... do this about 5 times a week 30 min at a time

Weight loss tips? Serious answers please.? -

I would like to lose weight quickly. How can I do so? I don t like exercising much, but I plan to exercise a little. Any tips?

Honest answer is if you really want to lose weigh quickly you will need more than a little exercise. You should do exercise 4-5 days for around 30 minutes a day. Drink lots of cold water and eat healthy...avoiding carbs and fried, fatty foods. In general reduce your portions for every meal, and stop drinking sodas (diet or otherwise).Other things that can help are simple things like parking further out so you do more walking in day to day situations. Taking stairs instead of elevators or escalators. Finding more active options like playing physical games instead of watching tv.If you talk on the phone, walk around while you talk, if you listen to music, dance, etc. The more ways you can find to be active and stay active the faster you will burn calories and thus lose weight.

There s an easy formula...eat healthy food in reasonable proportions. Exercise more. This IS a serious answer because this is what causes you to lose weight. As long as you re eating junk food and not exercising, no weight will come off and you ll probably gain more. Any quick fixes don t last long.

basically eat a well balanced diet, have no more than 2000 calories.and EXECISE! lots of it

If you cut down 500 calories a day you will lose a pound a week. Cut out all sugary drinks Juice, cola, etc. You can have as many fruits and veggies as you want, a few oz. of lean meat, cut down on carbs and fat ...Drink at least 9 glasses of water a day. go for walks, run up and down stairs, and my FAVORITE do exercises during commercial breaks like leg lifts, crunches, etc. GOOD LUCK!

Any Workout/Weight Loss Tips? -

I m 23 and weighs 212 pounds and am 5 3.. I ve been trying to lose weight for a while and haven t found a routine/diet that I ve been able to stick to.I play floor hockey once a week for 2 hours and have started up indoor soccer again which is one game a week for an hour. Is there any workout routines what people know of that is fun and has results. I ve heard that doing circuit training can actually be better that cardio because muscle burns fat. I have weight I want to lose in my legs, boobs and stomach. I can live with my *** and arms(although to improve them would be great). Also is there any diets/healthy eating plans that people know of that work and also and good workout music? (Not asking for too much..lol)Any feedback would be appreciated.

You need to do cardio period. Also you need to eat healthy. I would cut out all sugars and anything made with flour from my diet. You should also check out fitday.com it is free to join and you will do great. All you have to do is put in your goals and it will help you to reach them. Good Luck! One step at a time I love this cardio workout on youtube.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GP-ADSVstRemember it has 5 parts and if I were you I would do this daily!

Most people don t realize how much waste can be trapped inside our bodies. Experts estimate that most people have 10-15 of waste trapped to the inside of their colon walls. Imagine how unhealthy this is with all these toxins sitting inside us. Oprah had a guest on her show that talked about how we need to make sure that we clean our bodies of this rubbish.

haha well your off to a good start. I am a gymnast and work out about 3 and a half hours a night during the week excluding mondays and tuesdays. You probably dont have that kind of schedule. so i would recommend to do some workouts at home also. Not only do you have to workout though but you should watch your diet. As workout you should do as many crunches as you can do before you cant do them anymore...and i mean you need to push yourself. Then do the same amount of these for a week or soo. Then the next week ONLY GO UP MABY FIVE OR SO and keep following this schedule until you can escalate. Also do this with some v up pushups and candlestick jumps (all which require no machine). As for food dont go to mc donalds or fast food places. and dont eat tons of pasta either...balance you diet so that is has vegies meat and other good stuff. Just dont have a lot of dessert. its ok once in a while but not often. Also listen to music that envigorates you and gets you motivated to work hard. And dont expect result immediately, it will take a while to lose weight. But make sure you balance your workouts so your not fat in one part of the body and skinny in another. :D good luck! ps continue doing the sports you are already doing and do the exercies at home REGULARLY

I highly recommend you my weight loss program. It works just amazing and easy. If you are serious about losing weight. You should have a look weight loss correct program. It will work for you if you do it correct. I lost 18 pounds in 8 weeks with this program. You can get more info from link below.

Does anyone know any good weight loss tips? (easy 10 points)? -

I know that a balanced diet is required, but what foods are those exactly?? And how many of each food should I have per day?? What are good meals to eat?? Also, how long should I spend working out?? Since I don t have any gym equipment, what can I do at home that will help?? Thanks in advance to anyone who answers. XOXO

First..I am sorry some people have no manners like your first responder..second, try looking at Fitness Magazine.com..they are fantastic with great advice...I like the low carb diet for me, worked great and good food and I am never hungry. You don t need weights, you can use all kinds of household items like chairs for stepping and balance workouts, milk jugs for weights, etcgood luck hon!

Okay, you should actually eat many times a day (6-5) but in small portions. If your body recognizes that you are putting in a constant flow of food is will turn the food into energy as opposed to fat (like after a diet when). But the food portions should take up as much volume as your fist (breakfast excluded just not to much). You should avoid any foods and drinks that have trans fats, high fructose corn syrup (regular corn syrup is okay), hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils, and modified corn starch ( regular corn starch is okay). Always use olive oil when cooking even when greasing a pan. Have one egg every five days and chicken twice a weak but you need protein everyday. Also make shure you buy all organic foods. As for working out you can do 20 minutes of work out a day and if you like to stay indoors do push ups and crunches but the best is to go for a nice jog outside for 20-30 minutes.

Although I know this isn t simple, it is a simple equation. In order to lose 1 pound you have to have a deficit of 3600 calories. So basically you need to find our your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), that is the number of calories that your body needs to function. THen you need to figure out how many calories that you burn with exercise (based on Your body weight) and how many calories you are eating. The easy part is figuring out how many calories you need and how much exercise you need to create the deficit. The hard part is doing it.Now for specifics of what to eat, here is a sample menu:1 egg, slice of high fiber bread, fruitfruitsalad, low fat dressing, chicken or tunanon fat greek yogurtsalmon, brown rice, asparagusstrawberries non fat cool whipand lots of water!!!

Easy ones are cutting carbs (pasta, breads, rice, starches like potatoes, etc.) and increasing the amount of fluids you drink, especially water!Check out the links below for balanced diet tips.As far as working out at home, I suggest checking out some of the workouts on Women s Health (also in the links below) they have some great workout tips including what you can do at home. Personally I love to use my balance ball (those big rubber balls that kind of bounce) while watching tv, reading, etc to get my abs and core worked out.Good luck!

Fresh fruit, veggies and such. No processed foods-like from the deli even though it s turkey. Low fat or no fat, things like that. You should work out 30 minutes a day and you don t need any equipment. Use your own body as resistance such as in pushups, crunches, etc. Also, try the tv. Lots of cable companies have an exercise tv channel with everything from beginner to abs, dancing, cardio, and all that.

You need to eat foods that contain a lot of fiber. This makes you feel full, and satisfies cravings. Foods with fiber are things like oatmeal, nuts, vegetables, whole grains breads and rice and such. Stay away from sugar (especially in liquid form). Also, watch when you eat. Try to not eat anything for the three hours (at least) before you go to sleep. Drink lots of water and milk. Excercise is good, but don t think it gives you the permission to eat whatever and whenever you want.

don t go on a diet, that s mostly non-efficient.,eat light breakfast every day - cereal/fruit/yogurt and an apple or orange before lunch. have a nice lunch but don t eat too much, just enough. and don t eat after 8, that s the most important thing.

Actually, you don t have to diet in fact in order to lose weight, I discovered this at the site in the box below, they have loads of instruction, I lost 5 pounds by doing as they advised.

When you want to lose weight try out the newest diet supplement, it cleanses your insides and will flush out as much as twenty pounds from your torso. There s a risk free trial offered at http://pubelecs.kadieu.com it s much better than dieting lol!!!

Help with weight/diet ? -

Hello well i am 14 and i weigh 7 stone 11 which i think quite a lot and i want to do something about it. I have always been naturally slim so i didn t need to worry about what i ate but recently i have noticed that my legs are getting quite chunky towards the top and i don t fit into some of my old clothes anymore. I m really starting to worry so does anyone have any really good health/diet/weight loss tips?Thankyou any help is much appreciated x

Erm... firstly, Please ignore that link which has just been posted!!!You don t say how tall you are which makes all the difference to your whether you weigh more than you should, but from the sounds of it I cant imagine that you have anything to worry about! You are still growing, so wont fit your clothes forever!!! (sad I know when you have favourites!!)As you get older you will become more curvy, so what you see as chunky surely isn t! All women are wider at their hips!It sounds like, at your age and weight, you really don t need to be dieting. When I was about that age I was so scared that I was getting too big and got so preoccupied with it I found myself obsessing over it and wound up very upset. I wasted so much time on this I missed out on so much! The best advice I can offer is that you should spend more time doing stuff . Walking is an excellent exercise and will make you feel better. even if its only walking with your friends round the shops!!! Or join a sports team, or do some volunteer work that involves being out and about, like tidying up a local park!!!Anyways.. I hope this helps. Please don t worry about you weight as your sound ABSOLUTELY FINE!!!=^..^=

You d have to be really short for 7 stone 11 pounds to be too much. You re just experiencing natural bodily changes for your age. Wait until you re older or genuinely overweight to start dieting. As for exercise that s always a good idea regardless of your weight.

Concentrate on your fitness and exercise and weight will take care of itself. Ask yourself few questions. Are you exercising properly? Are you overeating? Are you stressed? Are you taking enough sleep? Here are some generic tips to lose weight.http://loose-weight.onlineyogaspace.com

Drink only water. Eliminate soda or drink diet. Lighten up as much as poss on desserts and fried foods/junk food. and.. GO POWER WALKING FOR 20 MINS EVERY DAY! bring a friend or your dog on a leash if you have one for company!Cutting out SODA and WALKING everyday will dramatically make you thinner/leaner.

Your weight is perfectly normal for your age. The top of your thighs will be chunky due to changes in the body during puberty. Just eat a balanced diet, and exercise for at least 1 hour per day. Don t worry. :)x

if ur legs are getting chunky at the top THATS SEXy haha no homo thogh

Weight loss tips to get in the groove of things.? -

I m 22 years old and looking to loose about 30 lbs within the next few months, give or take. Not looking to rush it, but really trying to get myself into gear. What my asking is, there a way to enjoy cardio work outs? Any good ones that arn t to expensive? I can t exactly afford the gym at the moment, but will in due time. But if anyone could suggest anything I would be greatful.

1 Dietary Balance and reading labels: watch what you eat, and expend more energy than you consume. Its really that simple. This involves some calculation. The approximate normal daily caloric requirement for an average male who performs light activity is 2,200; for a female, it is 1,900.Do the math. Eat less and eat at least five meals a day. Your actual caloric requirement can differ depending on your height, weight, activity level and your body s metabolic rate.http://knowdiet.blogspot.com/2 Identify your exercise. No exercise was created equal. You might like running, so run. You might like jogging, so jog. You might like stationary bikes, so bike stationary. Find the one that works best for you. Dont pick a routine that you dont like and wont stick with it for long. http://knowexercise.blogspot.com/3 Try yoga. Yoga is one of the best ways of losing weight. Of course I cant go into a full lecture about yoga over here but I can tell you that I have never seen people with better-toned bodies than those who practice yoga. One of the benefits of yoga is that you learn to control virtually every muscle and joint of your body so that the issue of weight gain will cease to exist.http://knowingyoga.blogspot.com/4 Photos and Joining online support group : Take before and after photos. Theres no easier way to illustrate your progress. Its essential that you not feel alone, and reaching out to friends helps as they know things that you couldnt possibly know, and theyve probably been in your shoes at some point in the past (or present). Share stories, laughter, tears, successes, and failures. There are thousands of communities out there, so keep looking until you find one that fits you.http://learnfriendship.blogspot.com/5 Water you waiting for If youre not drinking enough water, your body will let you know. Thirst is an amazing sensation C quench it. If youre not hydrated, your body wont be working at peak levels. If youre worried about water weight, remember that youre likely to retain more water when youre not giving your body enough of it in the first place. Im not going to dictate how many glasses you should drink, though C as thats going to vary from person to person.http://knowingbody.blogspot.com/6 Zone out. To be an efficient fat-burning machine, If you think that youre doing yourself a favor by sleeping less, youre mistaken. Give your body time to rest itself, both mentally and physically. Sleep is very, very important. http://sleepnicely.blogspot.com/ 8 Keep a food diary. All you have to do is jot down what, when, and how much you eat in a notebook, or you can do it online at a Web site . do you have time warner cable? if you do, email me and i ll show you this really cool thing that i ve been doing (I PROMISE THIS ISN T AN AD lol there s loadssss of free workouts on there that i ve discovered) but if you don t then i m not gonna bother typing the whole thing out. anyway, it s mainly cutting out most sugar, carbs, and drinking nothing but water and organic fat free milk, EXERCISING at least 40 minutes a day (all types, stregth, cardio...)good luck! :) don t let yourself slack off too. don t say, oh well i don t have a gym, so i can t work out. that s NOT true. you can easily do sets of knee highs, jog around the block a couple times, do crunches and pushups at home...

Please give me some fast effective weight loss tips...? -

friends i want to loose 3 to 5 kg s of weight in just 2 weeks ..is it possible to loose weight in 2 weeks without any health hazards....give me some fast weight loss tips that will last long....kindly; help me out..

aside from the obvious eating right, and exercise, you have to know what that is to do it.whole grains (pasta, cereal, bread) i eat shredded wheat n bran with non fat milk, its the healthiest breakfast option i have found. whole grain pasta is good with newmans own marinara sauce, it tastes good and is healthy.fruits (plums, mango, kiwi, apples, grapes) make it fun and get new fruit that tastes good.veggies (avocado, tomato) pack these on a sandwich (no cheese it has refined carbs and a lot of saturated fat). i get cans of veggies so if i am feeling like eating something bad i open up the can of veggies and eat it real quick and i just ate something good instead of something bad and im not hungry anymore. lean meats and fish (chicken, turkey, salmon, tuna) not fried, no skin.dairy (nonfat milk, nonfat cottage cheese) dairy can be tricky because if you re not careful you can consume a lot of saturated fats. eggs for example contain a lot of saturated fats and cholesterol in the yolk. i will just cook the white part and make a sandwich out of it.you are supposed to get 32g of dietary fiber a day and along with protein is essential for weight loss. on like a box of shredded wheat n bran it will say there is 8g per serving, look above that where it says servings per container for example if it said 2, there would be 16g in the whole box (theres more im just making an example). also look for low sugars, unless it is fruit you probably don t want foods high in sugar. be careful of too much sodium as well. and most of off saturated fats. some fats are good and healthy, monosaturated fats, and polyunsaturated fats are good for you, however like anything else you dont want to overdo it.also exercise and drink 64oz of water a day, is the recommended intake of an active person. make exercise fun, go swimming, skateboarding, play basketball, go to the gym. resistance training (weight lifting is the best for losing weight) because for every pound of muscle you gain that pound of muscle eats 50 more calories a day just to stay alive, without doing anything.i personally eat extremely healthy 5 days a week and on the weekends i do whatever i want, and i exercise 4-5 days a week. some people choose to eat sparingly bad throughout the week but mostly good while exercising. whatever works for you.im majoring in nutrition so if you have any more questions please e mail me.

Here you go: This is from my own experience and what has worked for me. I have laid it all out for you so that others may have the success I have. The perfect way to loose weight and monitor your progress is to use a calorie counter on a daily basis while you diet.Energy In/Energy OutFood Intake: 1,200 Per DayOne Pound equals 3,500 CaloriesTo loose one pound per day, You need to burn your food intake plus your one pound of fat1,200 (intake) + 3,500 (Outtake) = 4,700 Calories BurnYou must burn at least 4,700 Calories everyday to loose one pound at least. It is very easy to go up and beyond 4,700 calories each day.Best way to do this is to track your progress on a calorie counter monitor watch. If you do it by the numbers you can loose the weight. It is just a matter of changing the way you think about weight loss.Once you start wearing your calorie counter you can see the numbers increase and you fill find yourself doing extra things in your day, like tapping your foot while waiting at the light in your car, chewing gum, singing out loud and so on onto of your workout routines. You begin to see that everything you do in your day contributes to the overall numbers needed to loose that pound.Water Intake/Less StorageMost people do not get enough water in their system. Water is your body s principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 to 80 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don t have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. To determine if you are getting enough water use this simple formula.. Take your weight, for example 150 pounds and divide by 2. Take your answer which is 75 lbs and change it to ounces, in this case 75 ounces. That is how many ounces of water you need a day. Your body performs mostly on water. If you make sure you get enough water everyday your body will perform at top notch and your body will no longer have the cravings of junk food. You will have a better performing body system to help you work out and feel better thru out your day.Good FoodMy favorite things to eat:Avocado WrapsSimple: Low Carb Tortilla, Half Avocado sliced, alpha sprouts, lettuce, soy bacon...Just wrap it up and eat. You can vary the things you put inside so long as you keep it to approx 4 or 5 items. You want to make sure they are fresh, low calorie and filling. Avocado and mushrooms can replace meats in your meal and still have great taste.Special K Cereals are fantastic. They have that sweetness that one craves and is so good for you. Calories are low. Great for even just dinner.First thing in the morning...A Glass of Chocolate Milk. Yup!! Chocolate Milk. We all crave that got to have item in the morning. Milk is the best thing you can have for yourself while working out. The chocolate (and you can use Carnation Instant Milk for this but I simply use Nestle dry mix) will give you that sweet snack that you need. If you give your body a little bit of it and its in a control way, you will not crave sweets and junk the rest of the day.Lean CuisinesFantastic food! Each meal is approx 180 t0 380 calories per box. So think about your calories. 1,200...You can still have several of these meals a day and still be under your intake requirements. Its all about the numbers and watching what you take in and what you burn out. And you know what..If you go over your 1,200 mark for food intake...thats okay...you simple up your total calories burned for the day by what you took it. So long as you burn off the over all calories to be more than your food intake. Just make sure you stick too it so you can reach your weight loss goals.Fruits and VeggiesAll you want on the schedule listed below. Bananas are my favorite. They are very filling and can make a meal all on their own.____VitaminsMy favorite is ONE A DAY WITH ENERGY...I am in love with this vitamin because I am just like everyone else who loves those quick fix energy drinks. But what people do not realize is that energy drinks can contain 120 to 440 calories in just ONE Can. If you think about it..That is HALF of your allowed calories for food intake. The best alternative I have found is One a day with energy vitamin. Easy to spot, it is packaged in a green label bottle. Just One vitamin a day will give you as much energy as approx. 1 1/2 cans of red bull...WITHOUT the calorie intake. WoW..now your making progress already because you have made more room in your intake calories for actual healthy food._____Soda/CarbonationCarbonation is terrible for your system because it bloats your stomach. And when your stomach bloats, your jeans just don t fit. You can drop one pant size simply by NOT drinking any carbonated drinks all together..Take away the bloat and you have instantly just made it one pant size lower. Besides, Sodas dehydrate you and with that One a Day Vitamin, you won t need the Caffeine in the soda and it will also cut out those extra calories that you don t need.So remove that soda and the energy drinks and just think how much calories you just instantly removed from your daily intake. I normally consume what...four sodas and two energy drinks in one day...that is a total of .... 900 calories. Of what??? Nothing...Those are horrible calories and calories that can be replaced by food which will fuel your body for your day and your workouts.____Your BodyYour body is like a computer. You must program your body to do what it is suppose to do so it won t crash and leave you with a virus. Your stomach is only the size of your fist. So think about it right now, Look at your hand and close your fist. Not very big is it. That is how much food you actually ONLY need to eat, each time you eat for every meal. If you eat anything more than that, you will stretch out your stomach which causes overeating and overweight. What you need to do is eat every three hours, approx 5 to 7 times everyday around the same time. If you are always giving your body healthy and better food choices (the size of your fist) every three hours, your body will know you are giving it food. It will use that food properly. It will not go into starvation mode or store food away for later because it knows...it will get more in three hours. So what does your body do...it flushes everything out of your system because it doesn t need it.. Now it knows...you wont forget about it and that food is on its way.____Walking BuddyThis is the best thing especially for woman. Get a walking buddy. One hour everyday. Just think about how much talking, venting and laughing two woman can do together while walking and yup, you guessed it...it just burns more calories and reduces your stress. You now are more relaxed because you can talk and free yourself of whatever is frustrating you while getting into shape.:By: My own experience/rivasj27

it s not healthy losing 5 kgs a week , ur max must be 1.5-2 kgs a week , u can excercise more and eat less , thats the best advice i can give , excercise each day for about 1/2 hour and during like instead of taking the elivator take the stairs and such , and eat less, dont eat 3 hours b4 u go to bed , Good luck

walk, walk, walk....

You can definitely lose 3-5kg in 2 weeks without major health hazards. The problem with speedy weight loss though is that you ll probably put it all back on pretty quickly.Start moving straight away. Put on your sneakers and go power walking every day. Find some hills if you can (don t overdo it to start with though, otherwise you ll be sore and/or injured). Pump your arms and get puffed out.Cut any extra sugar out of your diet, and any refined carbs. So no sweets, biscuits, sugar in coffee, white bread, white rice or white pasta... etc etc.Include protein with every meal to fill you up - tuna in springwater and lean chicken breasts are good choices.Reduce your fat intake, so cut out butter, cheese full fat dairy. Go for fat-free yoghurt instead.Watch your portion sizes - it s better to eat small meals 5-6 times a day.Drink heaps heaps of water, and if you feel the urge to snack, eat raw veggies like carrots, celery, snow peas. Instead of drinking juice, eat the fruit.DON T starve yourself, because you re likely to snap and eat a mountain of chocolate. SOmething really important to remember is that if you lose weight by starving yourself not exercising, you will lose muscle as well as fat. When you gain the weight back, you gain fat, but not the muscle you lost. So even though you might be back at your starting weight, you re actually FATTER than you were before. So keeping your muscle mass is very important - muscle gives you a faster metabolism, which means your body will burn more calories, even at rest.Good luck, but please keep in mind that the healthiest way to permanent weight loss is by doing it slowly, and making changes to your lifestyle which you can keep up for the rest of your life xx

Eat Less. Do More! It is not possible to lose more than a couple of pounds of FAT in one week. Any other associated weight loss will incur the wasting of vital lean body mass. It is possible to lose weight and be even fatter than you were before you embarked on any ill conceived weight loss program.
