How to lose weight/tone up? -

Hi!So, I ve always been a little bit bigger. Not much bigger than I should be for my body type and shape, but I ve always had a flabby stomach (not fat (it can be flat at times) ) but its never hard always fleshy. Next, i ve always had love handles...ALWAYS. Its in my body type as well, but , is it possible to get rid of them? Any way to workout (i have an elliptical machine at home). I d appreciate workout and weight loss tips.

Think about this, your body make up and build is basically the same as an all star athlete, a hard working farmer, and a warrior in Africa.What s the difference between you and those other individuals? I can only assume it s diet and exercise. Try to eat healthy at every meal. Only drink water. Lots of fruit and vegetables, not much fried stuff, skip desserts, eat smaller portions.then as for exercise, Think about those same individuals mentioned earlier. do you think their daily routine is equivelent to some 30 minute cardio workout? no, see if you can ride your bike to work, or jog for an hour or two each day.basically, live like a regular human being. Treat your body in a way that makes it healthy, not temporarily happy.

Cardiovascular exercises (running, walking, aerobics, etc. including your ellipical machine) won t help you tone up much, though it might help you lose weight by burning calories.If you want tone, you re going to have to do strength building exercises to increase the mass of your muscles. You ll have to start doing crunches, weight lifting, etc. Bicycle crunches are the best for the abs.

I m kind of like you. Here s what I did: I went on a cleanse from Dr Livingston s book greenlife weight loss and it helped me to lose my belly and love handles. I went on it for 3 days on and took 3 days off and then did another 3 days. This worked awesome and helped me to overcome my plateau. Well i used to be big and i got in shape and i think the most important thing is that you have to be persistant.a good way to burn fat though is to run for 15-20 minutes then right away move on to doing a core excercise such as sit-ups or push-ups.

Get off the elliptical, do sit ups, stop shoving brownies down the hole in your neck.

Conditioning work outs. Lots of reps of small weights to burn fat and tone out muscles and such.

Do some cardio like jogging or running, jumping on a trampoline.and do some light weight lifting.

Do 20-30 minutes of cardio 4-5 times a week, then follow with weights. (push ups. crunches. squats. free weights. etc.)

First off, i dont see why you think you should weigh less than one hundred pounds. Like one of the previous answers above stated, you are in the med-low range for your height and are about to be considered underweight . not enough weight can also cause health problems. If you feel like you need to work the legs though, that is fine. you dont need to lose weight to tone your leg muscles. You can ride bike, walk, run, do squats, jump rope(really good! very underestimated!), or get on an elliptical machine or stair climber. What i learned from my own experience is that after a while, you need to switch up the routine. if you just walk or run the same distance for the same amount of time everyday, your body will get used to this as normal and you will stop seeing results! This is called a plateau. You need to continue to -confuse the muscles in your legs. Maybe you can ride bike and jump rope one week, then run and do sqauts the next, etc... Muscles confusion is key if you wish to tone and not get the plateau effect that makes you feel like you are wasting your time. REMEMBER- MIX IT UP AND PUSH YOUR BODY PAST ITS COMFORT ZONE!! YOU WILL SEE RESULTS... GOOD LUCK!

Your weight is just FINE for your height. Many ladies use walking to slim their bottoms, but for heaven s sake please don t obsess over this -- far too many girls and women ruin their health and sometimes die due to anorexia. And take it from a true backside man: ladies bottoms are much sexier when they re a bit chubby. Slim bottoms look masculine, which isn t attractive at all in a lady.

Run for at least 45 to 60mins a day. It doesn t matter how fast you do this, as long as the duration is around 45-60mins. Any less and your body is going to increase muscle mass instead. If your legs are not big from muscles, then you can do standard exercise routines and diets.

You can go outside and run, jog, walk...anything really just go outside and get your legs moving!And you are really perfectly fine. You not overweight at all. You are acually in the low to med-low range!

How can i lose weight fast without working out? -

Don t eat for months, only water

You can t.

You can t just lose weight without doing at least some kind of exercise. I think that losing weight is impossible without working out, even if you re dieting.Learn how to read the nutrition facts in food. Calculate the calories you eat in one day. I suggest you have a small notebook where you write all the things you ve eaten for a day. That way, you would know how much you re eating, and the reason why you re getting fat. It s a wake up call...A simple exercise maybe will do. Just walk around in malls, window shopping. At least you re burning some calories when you walk. Go to the beach with your friends! Swimming in the beach does a lot of good.

You can just not eat, but that would be very very bad for your body. You can also eat, but just not eat a lot fat or carbs, but you would have to get some exercise in order for your body to function properly. Not eating enough would make you go into starvation mode and you would lose muscle instead of fat first.

You pretty much have to workout. And diet by eating less junk food and more healthy foods [you still have to EAT though or it slows down your metabolism].

The quickest way to lose weight is to burn fat and reduce calories. Starvation is also an option but that alone is not going to shift those excess pounds(quickly) if your not burning up that excess fat. Beside not eating is unhealthy and cruel to your body. Moderation is the key and don t forget vitamins and minerals if not your health will suffer too.

I would not recommend the Liquid Diet; its dangerous to your health. The liquid diet is anywhere from 500 to 1200 calories a day. It is just a fad diet and doesn t work at all. The only weight you will lose from it will only be water weight, and it will cause a deficiency of important nutrients in you body.However, I would recommend fatloss4idoits because it provides your body with a good eating plan. Lol, Anorexia is not good for sure. You could try cleansing your body of the toxins that are built up inside which will also rid of a lot of fat and water weight. Cleansing is healthy and is not a diet. I ve been doing it and it s working for me. So far I ve lost 26 pounds in less than 3 weeks. The Atkins diet has been proven to help people lose weight, how quickly, I couldn t say but I know a couple of friends who have lost weight with it although it remains open to discussion as to how good it really is for you.

try sweating it out. when i try to cut weight for wrestling i run in several pairs of sweats and sweaters. and i go to the sauna fully dressed. its not that healthy though... but if you dont care than do that.

How can i lose weight fast? -

i am overweight, seriously but not really overweight i just want my stomach to be flat and to actually have a butt. please help me give me good advice.

The thing is is you cant really lose weight fast...When you start excersising and dieting you lose water weight first in the first couple weeks. Probably 2-5 pounds and then after that you start losing fat and gain musclethat doesnt happen fast you will probably lose 1 pound or less every week of fat.And if you do gain muscle it weighs more then fat so you wont lose weight by gaining muscles ( if that makes sense)to get a flat stomach you can do crunches and sit ups and to get a toned bottom you can do lunges, also running helps alot for toning.Remember this cant happen fast itll probably take 6 months or a year of hard work to notice a big difference. Hi, There are plenty of ways to lose weight. I will give you some tips to help you acheive your goal of losing weight safely.First I recommend you get 8-10 hours of sleep so your not tired. Try to eat 3-4 healthy nutritious meals spready throughout the day(10%fat/40%protein/50%carbs/). Exercise atleast 3 times a week for 45 minutes or more. Try to cut out the sweets/fats and replace it withvegetables/fruits. Drink 8-10 8oz glasses of water a day. Um, it depends what your BMI is but I would suggest a healthy diet perhaps. . .and make exercise fun, otherwise you ll want to quit at your process to lose the pounds. In order to flatten your belly, and this may sound suckish, but sit ups and crunches really work. I probably shouldn t be giving you advice because I never follow through in my program, but I see results when I do situps. Not possible. Ask your doctor for tips on becoming physically fit, but there is no easy way out. A lot of diet (healthy die) and exercise. Only surgery can do that, and it s expensive. And, surgery leaves scars and sometimes kills you. If you want your stomach to be flat, try crunches, curl ups and sit ups everyday.
