If i completly cut out carbs in my diet will it help me lose weight faster? -

Or do i have to replace them with something else,my bf drinks protein drinks will drinking them help me in any way???

You don t want to cut out all carbs. Veggies are carbs and no matter how low-carb you eat, you should eat plenty of veggies. Cutting back carbs helps to keep your appetite at bay so you are not as hungry so you eat less and lose weight. :)Protein shakes only help if you are doing weight training. Otherwise just eat real food to get your protein such as meat and dairy.

Don t do that. Your body need (healthy) carbs and low carb diets are notorious for not working long term. It s not healthy to cut all of anything out of your diet (carbs, protein, fats, etc).You need a healthy balance, and plenty of exercise. Make changes that will work long term and you can stick with...no gimmicks, no fad diets, no tricks. Your body needs carbs for quick energy...eat whole grain breads and brown rice and healthy carbs. Cutting out carbs completely will prob help you to lose weight, however it s not at all healthy and can make you feel very ill, especially if you re exercising. I do a lot of exercise and find that sticking to good carbs (wholemeal bread pasta, brown rice) and protein shakes really helps - they have a lower GI. no, you need carbohydrates in your diet as they give you a ready sorce of energy. Carbohydrates give you 20 minuites worth of exercise, so once you burn off those carbs you burn fat. i reduced my carbs rather than cutting them out completely and i increased my protein and i lost 14lbs in about 3-4 months and i ve kept it off by keeping my carbs low and protein higher and exercising. if you don t have the right level of carbs and protein you ll find you don t have a lot of energy to exercise.

yes ul lose weight, however u still need carbs as they make up the basic of the food groups needed. they are a third of our daily intake. stop eating pasta, potatoes and rice. still eat break though, stay away from pancakses douhnuts cakes etc. the weight will fall off

You should NOT cut carbs out of your diet because they supply you with the energy that your body needs to function and live basically. I would not cut out carbs altogether, perhaps cutting down on them a bit would help. Keep a food diary with what you eat and then figure out how much carbs you are eating. It is better to eat them earlier in the day and if you have them at night, make sure it is a small serve

Ok well I have checked out every diet in the book cause Im always looking for ways to be skinnier so you can get what ever you need to know from me.Special K : Firstly you need to have a BMI of over 25 for the guarantee to actually apply, and you have a BMI of 20.5 meaing you are of normal weight for your height.... personally i dont listen to BMI cause well it depends on the person cause muscle weighs more than fat so dont trust it that musch.Colder water : Some people believe that the colder the water the more calories youll burn warming it up and therefore it ll spend up your metabolism.... this isnt proven but theres no hurt in trying, i mean its not that much more trouble so you may as well (something i do)Obviously cutting down on stuff like chocolate will give you a better chance of losing weight. Yeah the no carb diet is the way to go for quick weight loss. I have been on low carb only 20 carbs a day for 15 days today. I have lost19lbs. WOW! Right! It really works.

Ok, there s a quirky little diet that I went on a few months back. It s called the 3-day diet. It took a lot of self discipline, but I did lose 10 pounds in three days! I m serious!!! So, you go ON it for three days; OFF it for the next four days; then back to the three days and continue to rotate, according to how much weight you want to lose.If you re interested, I ll post it for you.

ok so ive been in a health concious familey for a while. my dad was extremly over wait he went from over 400 pounds to 234 pounds in seven months and hes still losing. k so what he did was first of all yes eating once a day is an ok idea. but if you do then you need to see what u eat. you could excersise all day and not eat then go to micdonalds and ruin your hard work. ok so theres this thing called the south beach diet. the food is delicious and you really do lose weight. our familey is perfectly healthy now and no longer need the diet but sometimes we still make recipes from it because it is so yummy. another thing you need to realize is eating is not all that contributes to your weight. you need to exercise. most people are afraid to go to public gyms and i completly understand. heres some tips to tone down. first of all if you walk a steady pace for 20 min.s no breacks then you will burn over 200 calories. another thing is with doing sit ups and such you dont have to go all the way up. u only hav to go to where your stomach tightens up. first lay down on the ground and put your hand on ur stomach. lean up as if to do a sit up. stop when your ab muscles get tight. hold it for four seconds and let go. start with five everymorning. then the next week ten. then fifteen and so on. i can do up to 160 now. i hav amazing abs to. another thing i do is run on the treadmill. i walk it for 30 mins. then i run for 15. then i slow it down for 15 more mins. gradually slowing down until i stop. never just stop it hurts your heart. also doing this on the treadmill not only burns calories and excess body weight but it gets your adrenilen going. i usually do my sit ups before i do the treadmill because then i feel a burn in my abs the whole time. plus ever since i have been using the treadmill my butt has been firmer my bf loves it. i hope this helped but i know everyone says it but diet and excersise is always the best way and when it gets tough just remember your a very strong amazing person and you can do it.

I am in the same boat as you are SERIOUSLY, and I was searching Y!A on ways to lose weight. I am also a larger girl (almost 200 and i m about to be 18 years old) and as my new years resolution I decided to give up soda s. I haven t had a soda in 8 months, and i ve only lose like 5 lbs. I feel like giving up sometimes and binge eat everything in the fridge. Sugary sweets is my weakness.I was also thinking about not eating to lose all this fat. But i m afraid I will lose muscle instead of fat...so i don t know about completely not eating. So I have decided to eat low carb foods. Say if my mom cooks hamburgers for dinner, I will only eat the lettuce and meat, not the buns or tator tots. I m gonna cut out all breads and pastas as well as my favorite sweets. I know it s gonna be hard but diabetes runs in my family and I don t wanna end up having to stick my self every night with insulin. Since its getting fall I m gonna start walking in this paved grave yard every afternoon, as long as i have my ipod in i can walk for about an hour :)Its time for change because I m tired of trying beautiful clothes on and not being able to buy them because they are too tight, I m fed up. All my friends are thin and guys hardly ever pay me attention because of my weight. I want to be a healthy weight and maybe my mom will be proud of me and try to control her weight.How about we be weight loss buddies. SugarBusters. Cutting down on sugar will make a huge difference. Add some cardio exercise and you will easily start shedding the pounds.

All diets that work boil down to how many calories you are taking in per day vs. how many you are spending per day.So a very very basic and easy diet that will work as well as any you can pay for is this. Eat anything you want as long as you keep your calories per day around or below 2000. Add in some exercise if you want to speed things up and there you have it. Also 6 or more small meals are better than 3 but I am not sure how much that matters if you are on this kind of diet. Any diet you find is going to boil down to this simple principle

just lay off the sugar and bread for a while and u should start to see the pounds melt away....u may want to try tabo,,,it is a great workout!

To loose weight in one day:::You have to eat five-six apples a day and nothing else.Its hard for me,, but it works.

Sure, it s called the healthy food and exercise diet. Works wonders. :)Try doing 30 min. of exercise per day along with eating approx. 1800 calories. Step the exercise up to 1 hour gradually, then to 90 min. if you think you can handle it / if you have time. Keep it at 1800 calories, and if you start doing 90 min. of exercise daily, a good 2000 calories. Make sure they re not empty calories. Choose celery over cookies, carrots over cake, etc. It s all right to have a little sweet stuff or indulgence, just don t overdo it.This will really help you drop pounds! Stick to it! You won t see instant results, but instead of losing weight drastically and gaining it all back, you ll keep it off.Best of luck. :)

My all time favorite one is eat-less-food-and-exercise more diet. It never fails.

run 3-5 miles a day and only eat subway , fruit, and vitamin water
