I weigh almost 400 lbs. i need help (obviously)? -

i am 5 10 , 24 years old, no kids, married, i work at a desk job. i am joining fitworks next week. i want to have children, but right now, kids are definately not going to happen. i need some inspiration. i m just....desperate. i gained sooo much weight since HS...nearly 200 lbs. i want to weigh around 180 and wear a size 14/16. i m currently in a 28/30. i m a disgusting monster. what tips can you give me? how can i maximize healthy weight loss? any good motivators? i m ready for change! i want to be the wife my husband wants...

The hardest thing is going to be keeping up the exercise, cutting back on food and most importantly: being your own biggest motivator! Healthy weight loss should be around 2-4 lbs a week, dont starve yourself, but make obvious good choices such as skip anything fried, covered in mayo, or sugar. Dont follow trend diets, no matter how promising they sound, they dont work and if they do, its only temporary. Go to your doctor and have him refer you to a nutritionist who might be able to help you come up with some good lesson plans and edicate you on better meal plans. Also, try and incorporate your husband into this process. Go for walks together around your neighborhood, the beach, a park, wherever. When you go out together for dinner, remind him to help you stick to your diet! No desserts, sodas (even diets!), or alcohol! You can do it! Remember that this process will take awhile, but you can do it. Buy something in the size you want to be and hang it in plain view, this will be a constant reminder to stick to it! Good luck!

Whenever you are trying to lose weight, you should concentrate on these three things which all work together in providing a healthier and quicker weight loss goal for yourself. I have found this combination really successful in my weight loss plans. The first thing is exercising and how much you can put forth into it. The more you exercise, the more results you will see. The next thing is dieting and the calorie intake. If you exercise more, technically you could eat more? Always watch what you eat.Now the last step in a good weight loss plan is always a good diet pill that can help you get to the end of the road. I have found Proactol which is a natural herbal diet pill to be the best around. It s an appetite suppressant along with being a fat blocker which stops up to 28% of fat you eat. Read up about it at TheWeightLossPlace .com where I saved money on it. Proactol really works well with exercising which gives you plenty of energy to perform. Along with that your diet will be affected by Proactol due to the appetite suppressant and fat blocker. If you slip up on meals, the fat blocker kicks in. It s really great to stop food cravings.Concentrate on those three things and the combination is deadly for the fat cells in your body. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Okay babe, the first thing to do is to check out your local weight watchers, i know from the TV ads they don t look like much, but each weight watchers group is a local community within the community, a place to find support, and find information about how to satisfy hunger, without drowning it in food, Weight watchers will also make you aware of all the unhealthy eating you are doing to, most office workers dot realize it, but they consume almost 5000 calories a day in snacks, drinks, fast food breakfast and lunch, and then some times dinner. And its a sedentary job, so you don t burn calories like you would on working as say even a nurse who ran around and chased patient s needs. Weight Watchers is a great first step, they are supportive and helpful, i lost over 100lbs on it in a little over a year, then i gained it all back during a very very very depressing summer when i couldn t put down the food, but if i would have stayed with them, i would still be 185, anyway, whatever you do, when you get the weight off, don t instantly think that you can just start pigging down again, but by the same token, and this goes for any diet you are on, don t deprive yourself on the holidays, and special occasions, i don t mean the daily office birthday party, but when its your birth day, go ahead and eat half the cake yourself, you didn t put all that weight on by eating 5lbs of cake, you aren t going to undo all you worked for by eating it either, but if you are going to all out splurge one day, just be a little more conservative the next few, you dont have to go bite for bite, but just eat reasonalby and know what you are putting into your mouth.

Try weight watchers. It teaches you how to eat better but not diet. It is a lifestyle change. It worked great for me. Going to the meeting was really good motivation to cause I saw other people that really were loosing weight and I got to see my weight come off every week.

become more active. ten minutes of walking a day helps burn calories. take the stairs instead of the elevator. if you re close enough, walk to work. sometimes it helps to vary what you do. walk one day, ride a bike the next, do tae bo or yoga. do something fun. if you enjoy your exercise routine, you re more likely to stick to it. eat smaller portions. sometimes it helps if you eat 5 times a day instead of 3 (smaller portions obviously). include more fruits and vegetables in your diet, and try to cut out carbs. i m not saying do a total over haul of your diet and cut out everything you like. i m saying that you can have anything you want. just in smaller sizes. instead of a big piece of cake, have a sliver and some milk. instead of a bag of candy, have 2 pieces. and drink lots of water. sometimes we mistakenly think we are hungry when we are really thirsty. good luck. i hope this information helps!

1500 calorie diet- healthy weight loss? -

is this healthy weight loss? and should i eat lots of protein to make sure the weight i lose will not be muscle?thanks!this is what i was kind of thinkingbreakfast: 2 slices toast with 2 teaspoons peanut butterlunch: chicken or tuna sandwichdinner: salmon and salad or small portion of what everyone else is havingsuggestions?

try the lil Jack workout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezrits so easy a baby could do it

I was on a 1500 calorie diet for about 4 months, mixed with exercise every day. went from 160 - 130lbs. I noticed in my line of work I would get bruised up easy, so I came to the conclusion that I was not getting enough nutrients. So I it will depend on how much you weigh. eating lots of protein is a good idea, but make sure you eat the right carb/protein/fat ratios. And instead of eating 3 times a day, eat at least 5 times a day, it raises your metabolism so you can burn fat faster. Check out this website http://www.abbuilding.com/ it explained it all to me, and gave me the right info to lose the 30 pounds I did.

You need to add some protein to your breakfast otherwise you will be hundry again in no time. Also make sure you eat two pieces of fruit and lots of vegies. Add those things and it will be fine.Protein is very important, it fills you up. And carbs are important for energy. Make sure you don t cut them all out, but they are pretty much unecessary in your evening meal.

Does anyone have any weight loss tips? -

Hi, I m 5 2 and currently weight around 125 pounds. Does anyone have any suggestions on how many calories i should be eating daily? Also, does anyone have any suggestions on how much i should run/ jog a day? Or just any tips at all would help! :)(i m trying to lose weight, and keep it off, so around a pound or two a week)Thank you!

http://caloriecount.about.com can tell you how many calories you should eat in a day and how much you should exercise to meet your weight loss goals.

Step1Don t ever skip breakfast! This should be the largest meal of your day. You should front-load your calories and then taper off the rest of the day, eating less later in the day.Step2Next, eat five to six smaller meals the rest of the day. This will keep your metabolism revved up! and you won t get hungry.Step3Strive to eat more than 25 grams of fiber per day. Fiber rich foods are very important when it comes to weight management. Fiber rich foods make you feel fuller and you will be eating less.Step4Order your pizza with double tomatoe sauce and light cheese. Tomato sauce is high in lycopene which is a strong anti-oxidant and by ordering light cheese you will save about twenty grams of fat per pie, or as much fat as a McDonald s quarter pounder. You wont even miss that extra cheese!

Really there s no secret to losing weight. Find out about how many calories it takes for you to stay at the same weight without exercising, and start eating less calories than that. Then on top of that start exercising and you ll start losing weight like crazy. You can start limiting calories by doing little stuff-stop drinking any soda, or caloric drinks, only water-eat only half as much desert as you got for yourself

Well, some things that you can do are:1. Eat veggies and fruits. Cut down fat foods.2. Eat high-fiber foods.3. NEVER SKIP MEALS!!!4. Do yoga.5. Jog/exerciseThat s what I have for you! Good luck!

Here is a good article full of weight loss tips that are practical and work: http://www.weightlossfatloss.us/ten_weig

The following are 5 unconventional weight loss tips that worked for me.Between January 4, 2007 and March 31, 2007 I lost fifty pounds. These tips work well because almost every tip is focused around completing a small goal. Here are 5 unconventional weight loss tips:Weigh yourself everydayYoull find that almost every other dieter will tell you to weigh yourself only once a week. I recommend the exact opposite. I am very goal oriented and I like to see results everyday. The reason I recommend buying a scale that is accurate to the .2 is that there is a very big difference between weighting 170.8 one day and 170.0 the next day. Losing .8 pounds in one day is excellent. However, if your scale is not accurate enough to report the loss and still shows 170 after a day of healthy eating and working out, you will feel extremely discouraged. A more detailed scale makes it easier to keep a positive outlook. The more successes (days with positive weight loss) the easier it is.Drink 8 glasses of water everydayThis one is obvious and broadly recommended, however, the reason I recommend it is slightly different. Drinking eight glasses of water per day helps you feel less hungry. I cant prove this scientifically, however, when I am at work, I drink 4 cups in the morning and 4 cups in the evening. On the days that I dont drink the water, I feel hungrier, earlier. Also, on the days I dont drink water I feel sleepier, sooner. Dont feel intimidated by trying to drink 8 glasses of water. Try doing what I do: I have a pint glass I keep at work, it holds sixteen ounces (as all pint glasses do). All I do is drink two pints of water in the morning and two in the afternoon.Make your diet publicTell people youre on a diet. Theres no reason to be ashamed to be on a diet. I found that trying to keep my diet a secret was harder than just telling people. In fact, telling your coworkers, girlfriend, family, etc. will increase your accountability. It motivated me knowing that my coworkers and family knew that I was dieting because I did not want to fail. I also chose a typical fat picture and put it on my fridge, in my cubicle, and on my wall. I wanted to have a continual reminder to lose the weight. I know its a cliche, but it was important for me to remind myself of my ultimate goal.I feel I should also note that although I was 50 pounds over weight, when I told people I was on a diet they often said you dont need to diet. I found this surprising because I was obviously overweight. Beware that you will likely hear similar comments. I found it easier to just accept the compliment than to try to justify my diet to them. Remember that you are on a diet for you, and that you do not need to justify yourself.Dont diet on the weekendsThis is another unconventional bit of advice. I was able to lose 50 pounds without dieting on the weekends. I found myself tired, depressed, and unmotivated if I tried to continue my diet into the weekend. I felt that Friday and Saturday (my weekend) was a time to celebrate 5 days of dieting. You may not find this necessary, especially in the first few weeks of a diet. However, as many weeks passed, the weekend became a time for me to celebrate my weekly successes and get myself mentally prepared for another five days of dieting. I considered it a mental recharge.Dont sacrifice your life for your dietOn occasion, you will find yourself unable to eat healthy. Whether this is because of lunches with your team at work, birthdays, or special occasions, there will be events that you just cant (or dont want to) eat healthy. A diet will feel overwhelming if you have to sacrifice special events in your life. The way I combated this was to exchange a day that I was not going to diet on the weekend. In other words, if I didnt diet on Tuesday, for example, I would diet on Saturday, instead.

Michael Thurmonds 6 week body makeover? -

This question is for people who have actually done the Michael Thurmond 6 week body makeover. I looked up the website and I see that the program costs about $120.00 (it s not too awful expensive). But before I spend my money, I was just wondering how many people have actually lost 30 pounds in 6 weeks on this program? Did you keep it off? (if so, for how long?)How was the eating plan? Did you eat every two-three hours? How much did you exercise? What types of exercises did you do?I know this is a lot of questions. Sorry, lol. But, don t you think I should be asking questions and see if I can get some answers before I commit to $120 dollars for a weight loss program? Thanks :-)
