How can I lose weight QUICKLY? -

Female: * 5 3 * 160 lbs. ** I exercise 5 days/week. And, 3 hours at the gym = 1000 calories burned. Apparently, 3500 calories = 1 lb. Is my routine helping me? I try to consume no more than 1600 calories.

You will lose more body fat eating protein and fat (don t eat protein alone) than not eating AT ALL. To lose weight fast eat all you want but nothing but meat, eggs, healthy oils, mayo, butter and half an avocado a day (you ll need added potassium). How to lose weight quickly? -

In the past 10 days i lost 18 pounds because i began to eat less and i would drink more water. Now Ramadan came and im fasting but i cant drink that water to replace my hunger. I eat one meal a day of salad and a bit of protein and so far its been working, but recently ive been losing less weight, about half a kilogram every day. I was losing 1 kilo every day, and im excercising as well. What is the most effective way of losing weight for me? Does less eating really help losing weight?

you are losing muscle mass!its not safe to lose more than 1 kilo a week...starting from the time you break your fast(around 7pm right?) till the Imsak(if im not mistaken its about 5am the next morning) eat lots of fruits,oatmeal, raw nuts and salads every 3 hours...go for a 30 minute walk in between too...you will lose weight and tone up gradually...God bless you

Starvation response is kicking in. It s like this with any low calorie dieting. It initially works very well. Weight literally flies off. (18 pounds in 10 days is a lot). However, after doing this for prolonged periods, your body perceives a state of starvation, whether or not you are intentionally doing it is irrelevant. Your body will respond in the same way. What happens is that it will start to down regulate certain hormones that will in turn affect your metabolic rate. When you re on severe caloric restriction, your body will want to preserve itself as long as possible to ensure survival. Fasting (to my knowledge) doesn t help you lose weight because when you don t eat anything your body trys to store fat.

hey... janet here.. hopefully my own personally story can be of some guidance/help to you..I m 5 8 and at the time I was about 220 lbs.. and was trying real hard to lose weight for almost 8 months... i just had a baby girl at the time.. and during my pregnancy i gained a tonnnn of weight and much of it stuck with me after she was born, and the hubby began getting on my case and bothering me non stop about my new weight problem... so after a few months of that, it really started getting to me, plus summer was about to get here- and i love the beach! So i decided to try and do something about it... ive since tried almost every diet system out there... the standard eat less-exercise more change lifestyle diet, south beach, atkins, slimfast, weight watchers, etc... I also tried taking many different weight loss supplements.. and overall nothing has really worked well for me.... How to speed up your metabolism during weight loss? -

You need to switch up your exercise routine, increase resistance or up your reps. This is normal when trying to lose weight, you ll almost always reach a plateau and stop losing for a bit. Don t give up though, keep pushing and you ll start losing again. Keep in mind alot of people lose weight quickly at the start of exercise programs and it gradually slows down but don t fret it ll still come off just keep working at it.GOOD LUCK!

I have just started a weight loss program(5 weeks ago) my starting weight was 21st 3lbs. weight now is 20st 5lbs. my pogram is 15 miles cycling twice a week. 4 x 45 mins weight sessions. my question is i am finding my weight loss has slowed right down.is this because i am building muscle and if so will the weight loss speed up in time?

The weight sessions will not lose weight. If anything, they will develop muscles and muscles weigh more than fat. Give up the weights for now.Concentrate on aerobic exercies, such as your cycling, that makes you pant and sweat. That s the exercise that will burn off excess calories through oxidation. Running and skipping (with a rope) are also good, and cycling indoors on an exercise bike is healthier if you live in a city.You don t mention diet and that s important. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories through exercise than you consume in food and drink. But exercise alone is unlikely to be enough and, anyway, it may make you hungry and that defeats the object.Try to limit your carbohydrate intake each day, equal IN TOTAL to 4 slices of bread or one bowl of sweet cereal or two sweet fruits (oranges, pineapple, plums and the like) or two small potatoes. Nothing made from sugar such as sweets, chocolate, cakes, biscuits, fitness bars, milk shakes. Cut out starchy vegetables such as potatotes, parsnips, carrots, turnips, beetroot (basically root veg) - concentrate on eating greenleaf veg such as cabbage, sprouts, cauliflour and salad things - lettuce, celery, chicory, tomatoes, zucchini courgette. Little alcohol - say a glass of wine or a half pint of beer a day - no more. Within reason, you can eat as much as you like of fish, poultry and lean meat. Some cheese each day.The so-called Atkins diet is a good guide but don t go for expensive supplements or counselling sessions. Just follow the tips and general ideas of low-carb eating.If you follow this regime of aerobic exercise and diet, I m sure your weight will start to fall again quickly.Hope useful.

It could be, I take it you have reduced ur calorific intake? - the weights sessions should be high intensity, by that high reps,light weight,little rest between sets. Good luck, youve made a set in the right direction.

Anyone used lipodrene (with ephedra), nuphedrine or the Physicians Weight Loss program to lose weight? -

I m 5 7 , 160 lbs, trying to get down to 125-130 lbs.If you are going to say don t take pills , no magic pill is recommended for long term weight loss or diet and exercise only , DONT BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME RESPONDING. I just want some honest, serious responses from people who have had experiences with any of these methods or know people who have. What were the results? Side effects? You should be able to burn 10 calories per minute,.. just take it slowwakeup- eat a bowl of special K serial.snake at around 10 apple, granola,lunch12- eat a salad and a sandwhich. make sure its a salad with something, tuna, chickensnake a banana or sometype of carbs(good Carbs)after work-home nice lean dinner( turkey breast, veggies, patatoes, salad)then after this maybe a small fruit.eat as much wheat bread as you like with your meals, i usualy eat 1-2 slices....AS YOU SEE I EAT ALOT BUT IT BALANCES OUT...I GO TO THE GYM EVERY NIGHT AROUND 8 AND WORK OUT FOR 1HR. THATS ALL YOU NEED. AND THROUOUT THE DAY ALL I DRINK IS WATER,...NO SODA, JUICE, MAINLY WATER, OH AND THE MILK FOR BREAKFAST.... AVOID SUGAR SNACKS, TREATS,BUT ITS OK TO CHEAT 1 TIME EVERY 2 WEEKS. MAYBE A BIG MAC,.
