I need some good exersises to tone my abs, legs, and butt. Please suggest some that have worked for you? -

I ve been doing crunches,weights, and leglifts, but I would like some more options. Thanks! Also if you have some other good weight loss tips, please share them! If you have any food or exersise that has really helped you, it would be a great help!

If you can get to a pool, swim every day. Do laps and increase the number of laps you can do as you get into the routine of swimming.Water aerobics is great also. Good luck.

I think you should do Donut Curls followed by Ice Cream dips. Come on, be honest with yourself.. Do you eat all day, do you eat more than your boyfriend. That might be a good start.

I would highly recommend Leaping Lunges. It is when you do a standing one legged lunge, and switch legs in mid-air. So instead of just standing back up and switching legs like normal, you leap from the down position, switch legs in mid-air, and then do the next leg. If you can keep that going in a rythm, and do 20 on each leg, you are doing pretty good. As for diet, I live by the high protein, low (not no) carb diet. It does help to decrease the total calories you absorb because your body has to work to turn the protein into carbohydrates. As a plus, I still have the protein I need available to build muscle after working out.Check out Bill Phyllips Body for Life books. There is another book out there for females as well. My wife is not a PT monster like me, so she stays moderately active, and eats a vegetarian diet to stay lean.

crunches are best for abs coz they effect ur abs and at the same time make ur spine stronger.crunches done at 30 degree angle regularily affect ur abs most.for legs u can do cycling+leg exercise...on machine.butt is affected by all kinda leg exercices.do these exercices regularily and eat less oily food.u ll lose weight fast

Pilates! You will see a huge improvement. If that is not for you try lunges and squats. To tone your abs use one of the hanging ab machines at the gym. Also belly dancing tones your core as well as crunches on a ball.

Weight loss tips and toning my body? -

If I eat healthy, take whey protein, jog a mile and do crunches and push ups 5 days a week, could i get in shape and have a toned body? also how long would it take?I have worked out all of my life, i am an athlete that recently finished my college career in baseball, when i first started playing baseball my freshman year i weighed 205 and was told to bulk up, i bulked up to 250 and now that i am done playing i want to get back to my original weight. I cannot afford a gym right now so I thought i could do something simple but i have never done anything as simple as this, it has always been lifting circuits and certain running drills, i cannot lose weight but lifting so i figure if i simplified my workout i may get better results. I was also thinking about incorporating sprints and hills to the running.I do not need any advice on eating healthy, nor do I want to be redirected to sites that offer diet pills and any of that nonsense. Look the reason one is over weight has nothing to do with will-power, over-eating or the right diet. I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart.However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. Weight loss tips for over the summer ?!?!? -

Ok does anyone have anything to help me lose weight please no pills or anything like that i just want to lose like about ten or more pounds over the summer im not obese or anything i just want to tone up and lose my belly fat! EASY TEN POINTS! :)

Eating healthy is key. consume a little more protein (meat) than usual. Work out helps but losing weight, and getting a tone stomach is about your body fat percentage. Eating healthy is the main thing, then work out. Two strengths when combined, result in that figure your looking for. When you work out don t do the same routine work out everyday. alternate between 3 days and do different things each of the three days. like Monday do crunches, Tuesday sit ups, Wednesday go for a run. then Thursday go back to crunches. You can do more than one thing a day certainly but don t do the exact same workout everyday. Your body gets use to it. Mix things up. Eat a healthy breakfast. Eggs, bacon, milk, orange juice. that sort of thing. Just combine eating healthy with work out and you should see results in the first few days.

Don t drink any soft drinks, not even diet . Cut back on the fast food and start eating fresh foods, and fruits.

I am looking for ways to lose weight. I am not overweight at all, just not satisfied with my appearance (how I look in clothes). Am I overweight? Weight loss tips? -

I am 5 feet tall, (a girl) and I weigh 118 pounds. I am really self-concious about my weight but my friend keeps telling me that I m not overweight, I m just wondering whether or not she s right...? Also, does anyone have some good weight-loss tips? I m athletically challenged so I really don t play sports, is there any other way I can increase my metabolism speed?

IF YOU ARE A TEEN GIRL, this is probably very wrong. your calorie needs are probably much less. (the 2,500 cal average american takes in a lot of old, fat, tall men.) MY average is 2,200- but i work out 5 times per week.PLEASE find a good online calculator, but a 5 7 girl at 130 lbs who does NO physical activity would need about 1,500 to MAINTAIN her weight.to put this in perspective: a super size big mac meal at mc donald s has 1,600 calories. great, if you only want to eat one meal per day.after you figure out how many calories you need to eat every day; here are some simple rules:1. cut out any beverage that s not water. if you think you can t do it; make iced tea or lemonade at home. (your body mass index) an average girl should have a bmi of about 20%-- meaning that 20% of her body weight is composed of fat. (a HEALTHY 5 2 girl that s 100 lbs, will carry about 20 lbs of fat. it s dangerous to get below 13%. if the same 5 2 girl weighs 160, it s unhealthy- but not because of the pounds, because the PERCENTAGE of fat is WAY too high.) anyway, if you re bmi is healthy, you re healthy. there are bmi calculators online that will tell you your percentage.8. eat every 3 hours, if you can, small portions. set the alarm on your cell if you need to. take a power bar (or similar) in you purse ALWAYS. (i like LUNA bars, they re $1 per, but taste good, and will actually save you money, as they ve got all the vitamins and minerals of a full meal.) if you HAVE to eat fast food, order kid s portions.i know a lot of professional female athletes, and although they don t have tummies, many have a diffcult time getting a 6-pack (abs), and most of them have cellulite on their thighs. cellulite can be made worse by eating saturated fat (butter), and those deposits can be nearly permanent. the quickest way to reduce the appearance of cellulite, i think would be tanning cream.if you have any amount of fat, it will show up first on your stomach. there are a lot of people that have strong stomach muscles, but the smallest bit of fat will cover over it right away. so a 300lb woman might have stomach muscles of britney spears (i m not talking about a ripped tummy, but a cute flat beachy one... :p ), but seeing as the stomach is the first place fat goes, you d need to get rid of the fat before you d be able to see what s underneath. a 6 pack , therefore is really a sign of someone in very, very good health.i won t tell you to exercise, but remember- the more you move your body, the more you can eat without worry!all diet programs that you PAY for offer do everything i ve just said for you, esp. weight watchers, whose point system is exactly what i ve done above.hope i didn t sound preachy, and i hope it helped.p.s. when you look for info online, especially calculators, make sure the source is reliable (like www.webmd.com), and make sure to type in teenage girl . you have special, different dietary needs. you ll need a bmi calculator, calorie intake calculator. then thedailyplate.com will tell you how many calories are in the food you re eating.Source(s):http://www.ahealthyme.com/topic/calneed, www.thedailyplate.com

Do lots of cardio!!! I weigh the same but I am seven inches taller than you. I work out every day though.

To me you sound llike youre a perfect weight and dont need to lose anything! :) Do u play any sports? The muscle you gain from playing sports also contributes to weight gain and bigger inches! But if you dont believe me and are just so deperate to lose weight try doing 30 to 1hr of exercise everyday non stop and drink LOTS of water and eat lots of vegetables...Do What you Think is Right!
