Good ways to lose weight?? Am I overweight??? Please answer!!!!!!!? -

I am 12 going to be 13 next month. I weigh 112 lbs. and I m 5 ft. 5.8 in. I m not sure if I m overweight or not. Most of my friends weigh around 80 lbs. so I do feel a bit on the heavy side. Am I overweight? If I am can you give me some weight loss tips? Thanks for your help!!

Honey, you are NOT overweight. You sound just right for your height. And I see that you love to run, am I right? If so, you may have more of an athlete s build with good, strong, lean muscle (which weighs a bit more and could account for the difference between your weight and your friends ). Be proud of yourself. I m 5 6 , by the way, and I weight 116. And my friends tell me that I m very slender. Enjoy your life!!

Sorry you re getting so much spam on this question... and no, you re not overweight. Forget what your friends weigh. You re growing a lot right now and good nutrition is really important, so don t try to diet. Make sure you re getting enough lean protien (chicken and fish are great), lots of fruits and veggies, etc. And get into the habit of regular physical activity that you actually enjoy (so that you can keep it up). Doesn t matter what it is, as long as it gets you active for 30 minutes a day.

If you know right weight loss info and way, weight loss is easy. If you are really serious, you should have fast weight loss way that works for you. I highly recommend you my weight loss way for you. Free weight loss tips? Anyone? -

Okay, I need free weight loss tips. I must lose the weight I have on me. I need something that will WORK! I want to lose the fat on my body. Please don t post any websites unless they work and they are free and you know that they are. I would like weigh less than I do now. (Quite frankly, I think most people would.) I posted a question similar to this one but I didn t get much answers and I got two websites. One you have to pay money to lose the weight, and the second one didn t even work. Eat 1200 calories a day if you re at a desk job or 1500 if you exercise a lot. Mostly fruits and veggies, whole grains, one meal with protein..8 glasses of water (1.5-2 Litres of water a day)Get 7-8 hours of sleep (this is important too)Don t eat three hours before bedtime.Exercise an hour a day on elliptical/bike/treadmill or something similar to get your heart rate up and sweat.And follow the food pyramid. Drink lots of water and to lose fat, do aerobic exercises.

You can t lose 30 pounds if you don t lose 1..another one that works is be prepared for snack attacks...They come when least expected and if you dont have a plan and something ready at that time you will eat anything and everything .

I m a 16 5 4 girl that weighs about 157 pounds. I m looking to lose weight the healthy way fast. I have a dance coming up april 24 and I just want to look a little better. I understand that I won t be able to lose 20 pounds in a few weeks. Do you have any good weight loss tips????Any good exercises that don t require a gym? I currently own a stationary exercise bike (really bad condition, but I can still cycle on it), a jump rope, a good pair of running sneakers and a soccer ball. Any tips? Also will climbing stairs help with my weight loss?

I have a crush on this girl, but she said shes lesbian. How do I know shes not making excuse to not date me? -

Also, I think she gained at least 5 lbs since I asked her out 3 weeks ago. We see each other twice a week in class. How do I tactfully suggest some weight-loss tips so she doesn t get any fatter.

I have wanted to loose about 20 to 30 lbs for quite some time now, but every time I start a routine, either with going to the gym, eating certain amount of calories and using a counter to keep track, diet pills ect, I do it for about two months and then just always stop. I need some practical tips, I can use everyday, because being on a strict plan, with many restrictions is difficult for me to do, since I work 3 jobs and go to school full time. HELP??!

Just use common sense.... eat foods that are good and try to eat 6 small meals a day.. u know about 3 hours apart. Eat fruit, veggies, nuts, legumes, white meats, and be reasonable with your portions. And a busy schedule can make it hard to get exercise so just fit it in when ever you can. Even the small things help like taking the stairs or parking in the back of the parking lot when you go to stores. Just remember NO PROCESSED FOOD, no fast food, no frozen dinners, and stay away form canned food. Eating Fresh veggies and Fruit is the best thing for the body.You don t have to be strict and count calories just be sensible with what you eat... NO PROCESSED FOOD, and plenty of fresh vegetables... and try to use a dressing beside ranch.. even low fat ranch.

you sound like you do alot, if i had any advice it would be: aim to work out everyday, you may not want to, but just think of how good you will feel after you do its hard to cut out sweets, but if you do need a snack have some dark chocolate, or low fat frozen yogurt. a little everyday is better than gorging ur self once a week with fats cut out all fast foods be focused, imagine urself with out the weight instead of 3 large meals a day, go for six smaller meals, this has been known to help weight loss.

If you have any time in the morning go running for about 30 minutes. Always eat nutritious meals and keep track of the amount of calories and carbs you take in. When you keep track of those at the end of the day split that number in half and try to run/exercise that off.

well if you have three jobs and school...then i dont see how you could possibly be overweight lol. just start slow, like just eating three meals a day, and then eatng healthyer foods. if you have any spare time, just excersise. do pushups. run. it might take awhile, but youll lose the weight.

OMGG dont do pills thats foolish.. well i strongly suggest u do dance. as many times a week as you can. its fun, its sexy.. and it will shape ur body really nice :) jogging and running: no good cuz i think it gets u flabby after many years. working out at gym: works, but u will gain muscle, which in time will droop and go away ;/ *dance is relaxing and relieves stress* it is the only form of exercise that uses EVERY muscle in your body :)

find something that doesnt involve dieting or pills- they never work. eat more first thing (most calories in the morning)- it works for many people.

Almonds, fruit like strawberries, blueberries, instead of cream cheese on a bagel choose Peanut butter....high protein and fiber foods...instead of bread try Wasa crackers with turkey....and if you ever crave something sweet try peanut m and m s....and use plain flavor yogurt fat free is a must!!! instead of regular juice get juice with no sugar added 100 percent juice and WAter!!! Something a little different...Alot of people say it doesn t work, but my husband has lost 30 lbs on Herbalife. We bought a Gazelle, but have only used it a couple of times, so this is just by changing his eating routine a bit.It s 2 shakes/day and a meal and a snack in between. You also take a pill called Total Control 3 times a day.He actually fills up alot quicker now too.

Fat-free yoghurt /or sour-cream makes great dips.But use it for raw veggies instead of chips etc.Eliminate sugar, especially in soft-drinks,get soda-water or mineral water with lemon juice.Eliminate white flour in baking pasta.Use whole-wheat wraps for sandwiches.Get whole-wheat pasta from bulk-food store.

my chemistry teacher told me that if you eat breakfast everyday then you will lose weight.... because if you dont eat breakfast then the food that you have stored will turn into fat but if you eat breakfast then it like jump starts your metabolism so it starts to burn faster.... so eat breakfast....
