What is the best and cheap weight loss program? -

You might try http://www.sparkpeople.com/. They re totally free, have good information and tools and great support boards.

Best and cheapest?Eat less, exercise more.See how easy that was?

if they have costco where you live, buy their diet shakes, it cost like 13 dollars for 25 shakes, get like 3 boxes, drink 3 shakes a day, and for dinner buy (also from costco) boneless skinless chicken breast, make sure its bone less and skinless, they have a lot to choose from, buy lots of corn, or broccoli or any vegi you like, and rice. Eat white rice (around a cup or cup and a half) for dinner, 1 chicken breast ans salad. You can have ketchup, barbaque sauce, salsa, tabasco sauce, a little bit of Soy sauce. 3 shakes and a dinner, plus exercise at least a little. the fat will come off at a nice steady pace, you should feel and look different within 2 weeks, keep it up.

these are free

The one you design yourself! Those magic/fast/incredible weight loss programs usually have 0 results. The key is to lower your calorie consumption to the level needed for your target weight. People gain weight when they eat more calories than they need; the extra, unused cals turn into body fat. So, what you need to do is count your daily calorie consumption and make sure you dont go over. I use for free this great diet planner I found at http://www.projectweightloss.com - it calculates your ideal weight and your target calorie consumption, and how many calories you eat with your meals. They also have nice weight charts so you always know where you are and how much longer youve got till you reach your target weight. It worked for me. Hopefully, you`ll find it useful too. Good luck!

Weight watchers is really good. It s $12 per week or $39 per month. I do the $39 per month because you also get access to many online tools. You can eat whatever you want, you just learn what is good for you and how many calories you can have, etc. It s more of a good moral support system than anything.

Here is a place that reviews a bunch of weight loss programs, dieting aides, supplements and so on. Even has categories like diabetes, low fat and hypnosis. Pretty cool site. http://www.reviewplace.com/cat-135-Diets Many of the programs listed have consumer reviews, so you can read what others think of the different programs. Hope this helps!

chew your food 30 or more times before swallowing. it works if you keep up with it

If you have insurance, go to a weight loss doctor. They can give you a program, and maybe meds.

A easy weight loss program to follow? -

hiya im 14 and 133 pounds (5 1 0 i went to the doctor and im about 20 pounds over weight...is there an easy weight loss program to follow? thanks skye

I d recommend resistance training along with cardio no more than twice a week. Maybe 15 minutes each to start but as you adjust to the exercises you will need to increase the time and resistance (just a little) cardio increase maybe 2 minutes and resistance add about 2-5 pounds. diets are temporary, you need to change the way you eat from this day forward and never look back. Eliminate sugar intake for the next few weeks. After that just monitor your sugar intake. Do this with fat intake as well. You will need to calorie count if you are serious about this and take in no more than 2000 calories and no less than 1500 calories a day, doing all of this immediatley will get you rapid and awesome healthy results. Good Luck and stay focused!

Eat smaller portions. This way, your body starts to increase its metabolism so that calories are burned faster. Also, small meals can prevent overeating.Stop eating just when you feel you are not as hungry, don t keep on eating till you feel full --------------Eat:Plenty of Cucumbers: it takes more calories to digest cucumbers than the calories you can obtain from it, it also give you clean, easy way of filling full. Grapefruit juice: when eaten with protein, triggers fat burning and causes weight loss. ---------------------- Believe in a target weight you want to achieve and weigh yourself twice a day, be encouraged from the progress. Set a daily goal for 1 Pound or 2 you want to loose. When you do not achieve your daily goal, just eat way less at that day just to keep the same paste of weight loosing. ----------------- Start the diet at the supermarket. Keep stocked with healthy food and you ll be less likely to run out for high calorie junk food.

Online weight loss program for teens? -

Do you know of a program for teens online that tells you things like what to eat, when, how to work out, etc.? Puts you on an exact plan? And it s free? Thanks!

sparkteens.com. is is free, but they really don t put you on a exact plan. They keep track of your workouts and stuff. They do give you good workouts (that are really short, like 10-15 mins) and don t require a lot of equiptment) and articles you can read about how to eat healthy and more.

There are many weight loss programs out there that have been beneficial for many and there are many that have caused more problems than benefits. So, when you embark on a weight loss program, consult experts and make sure that the program will suit your body. The best part about most weight loss programs is that you will most certainly lose weight if you follow the regimen to the T. However, the difficult part is maintaining the weight, as people tend to put on weight fast after discontinuing a weight loss program. For more details visit http://www.looseyourweight.info

20 Pounds In 2 Weeks?!? -

Ok, so I m 13, 5 feet 5 inches and 171 pounds. I recently lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks from cutting out ALL candy, pop, fast food, ect. I really would like to lose at least 20 pounds by June. Is that possible? It would be even better if I could lose 20 in 2 weeks (Yes, I know that it is Un-healthy). But back to the 20 by June, how can I do that? I really can t go outside or anywhere to run, all I have is my room and 2 pounds weights, plus P.E. every other day... Can someone help please? Tell me how to lose 20 by June? THANKS!P.S. Is it true that if you confuse you metabolism you will lose weight quickly?

if you lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks from giving up the things u said you gave up, then from now till June, you will loose about 60 pounds, do the math, lets even say 40, wow that is so much and in a good amount of healthy time.

a good thing to do to lose weight would be to do a good amount of sit ups and push ups. and i dont think you can really confuse your metabolism without some kind of medicine which you would be better off with. also work your way up from 2 pound weights to 4 and then 6 and so on. XD

Well I actually lost 18 pounds in 2 weeks. What I did was I ate cereal for breakfast and lunch (with skim milk), drank lots and lots of water, and had chicken and broccoli for dinner. The kicker is that I walked for 30 minutes a day everyday. You could do that, right? Also, yes it is true that if you confuse your metabolism you will lose weight quicker. I wish you the best of luck in losing your weight.

Will my insurance cover a medical weight-loss program if? -

No cruel answers please. This is a serious question.

Whether your insurance will pay will depend on your insurance plan and whether they consider it medically necessary . They tend to be rather stingy, so it will help if your orthopod and your primary care physician consider it medically necessary -- in fact, they will have to actually issue a medical order for it. I would think that the combination of your foot and the implants making routine exercise virtually impossible but necessary to protect it all would be a huge factor to support a medical order. It may take a couple of passes with the insurance gate-keepers, but give it a try and don t be disheartened -- after I had a heart attack and 2 heart surgeries (which in total cost about $250,000 eight years ago), the insurance paid 100% for cardio rehab, which was like going to the gym 3 times a week at the hospital and doing regular gym stuff while wearing a monitor -- kind of goofy but very expensive. So you never know . . . Best of luck!

I doubt the state medical program will pay for you to lose such a small amount of weight. The weight gain is making you unhappy but it isn t causing more medical issues and from the sounds of it you are not obese. You will have to cut down the calories for the amount of energy you do burn in order to stay the same until you are able to get out and mobile or you are going to have to find other ways to utilize the upper body in order to burn more. Sorry but I really don t think you need a medical weight loss program. maybe your doc could recommend a dietitian for you

Probably not. Insurance companies would probably tell you that it was your choice to gain weight. You could have changed your eating habits, exercised more, etc.I think insurance companies are good for certain things, but they won t go out of their way to help you. You might be able to use your flexible spending (if you have it - it s your money taken out of your check and put into an account before taxes) to get reimbursed for Alli or something. But again, many insurance companies won t cover that either.

you will need to ask your insurance provider. Some will, and some wont

How can i lose weight quickly? -

i m 14 yrs. old(going on 15 later this month:( ), i hate my thighs,and stomach. THIS IS AN S.O.S.

Hi, just start by cutting out all soda, sugar and high calorie things.Work out alot. Average person should eat 1,200 calories a day.Write down all the things you eat on a typical day. Carry a small notebook with you and write down every snack, every drink, and the contents of every meal. There are also great websites that you can use to keep track of calories, get recipes, and help achieve your goal. Don t forget to include the pats of butter or the spoonful of sugar in your coffee. It s best to do this for at least a couple weekdays and a weekend; it s even better if you can go a full week.Go over the list and decide which foods to cut out or reduce. Cutting calories is usually a lot easier than you might think. For example, that daily tall latte in the morning may pack 500 calories. Since a pound of flab (lost or gained) is roughly equivalent to 3,500 calories, replacing that rich beverage with black coffee can help you lose a pound a week. Other easy cuts include salad dressing (salad dressing is the number one source of fat in the average American woman s diet) soda pop, candy, and butter. Look at the nutritional information for the foods you eat, pay special attention to your intake of saturated fats and empty calories (high-sugar foods). You don t need to cut these things out entirely, but if you reduce your intake of high-fat, high-calorie foods you ll lose weight faster. Start your days off right. A fattening breakfast of bacon and eggs or a pastry can be replaced with yogurt, oatmeal, high-fiber, low-sugar cereals; or fresh fruit for fruit smoothies. However, for those on a low carb diet bacon and eggs are a great combo for breakfast, since neither have carbs. But don t fall into the trap of skipping breakfast. Eating a healthy breakfast increases your rest metabolic rate earlier in the day, and reduces snacking before lunch. Watch your ypur meal sizes to.Exercise. Remember, you can lose weight either by decreasing your calorie intake or increasing the number of calories you burn. Any health strategy should include both, but if you want to lose weight fast, exercise is essential. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY BE CONFIDENT!Hope this helps!

eat healthy and exercise

How many weight have you lost on any weight loss program ? -

what program and how long have you been on the diet.

I lost 42 pounds on weight watchers in 5 months, it was awesome, it s been a year and I haven t gained it back!

It took me a year to loose 90 pounds on Atkins.

I lost 18 pounds in 1 1/2 months on Weight Watchers. I would have lost more, but I got pregnant. I plan to start up again after he is born. Good Luck!

I guess you mean how many pounds? I chose to take it very slow and very healthy and went the South Beach way and lost 45 pounds. I guess it took me about 8 months. I m still eating the way South Beach taught me to eat. That s what I love about it... the diet I followed while I was losing are the same foods I eat now, only I allow myself a treat once in a while... maybe a little larger serving of something healthy.

70 pounds in a year with Suzanne Somers. It s great because you don t cut out any food group.
