How to lose weight fast? -

i am going on a trip with friends on 3/23/08. i want to wear some shorts,skirts,and bathing suties! but i need to lose some weight around my tummy,adn uper legs.. any ideas?

im trying to do the same exact thing. in fact im actually leaving for vacation on 3/22/08. i lost about 10 pounds just going to the gym, doing cardio for half and hour and working out my arms, legs, and core. i feel so much healthier and stronger and i trimed my waist, my butt, and my stomach. i even went down a size. whenever i cant make it to the gym or its that time of the month i just take a fast walk around my neighborhood. getting fresh air is so relaxing and cleansing, and u develop nice calves and a good butt. as for food, people may say to eat snacks, but when i do that i always over eat. eat 3 square meals a day packed full of protein and vegetables, especially for dinner. cut out all white breads, try whole wheat products instead. it may taste different at first but ull start to get used to it and tastes even better than white bread. if ur thirsty dont go for juice or soda. even fruit drinks are packed with sugar, like apple juice. and diet sodas just make u hungrier. drink water with every meal and periodically during the day.when i start to crave sugar, usually wat works for me is a square of bitter sweet chocolate. it actually fills u up. and of course always fruit is full of fructose, which is healthier than glucose sugar in most products.good luck.X]

You should join weight watchers. You can eat all your favourite foods but in moderation. They all have a points value and you get allocated a certain amount of points each day. It s the only thing that helped me lose my weight. I lost 45lbs in a year and did it the healthy way. I was 195lbs. I feel fantastic. Your first week if you stick to the points regime you will lose the most weight which is a great incentive to keep you going. Good luck........

eat sensible and often, drink loads of water and do at least 30 minutes cardio a day. always eat breakfast, cut out soda, candy, cookies, chips, fast food, greasy food, fried foods, and salty foods. i have lost 10 pounds a month by doing this, and best part is, i no longer crave, salty, fried, greasy or fast foods, they actually make me sick thinking about them. i used www.sparkpeople.com a free site to help me keep track of my progress, loads of tips and info and loads of very active message boards! good luck you can do it!

I watched supersize vs superskinny and she went on a mayple syrup diet, where she mixed water with one tbsp of mayple syrup and a pinch of cajun pepper! She lost about 2 pounds in 3 days i think! GENIUS! But all you can do is drink it, not eat, bad idea lol

How to lose weight only in your waist? -

i have a 28 inch waist and would like to have 24 is there any excersizes i could do to get it down??

Size 24 is too small for you. 28 is just right.And no, you cannot lose fats only from your waist, you will lose it everywhere. If you proceed you will look anorexic.And getting it slimmer means you re internal organs will be compressed which is not healthy. I doubt if you have any more fat to burn in that area.Most guys prefer a girl who is reasonably proportional (not sickly thin and not too fat). 28 is just right.

Wait, are you a guy? Because a 28 waist is pretty small for a guy. How old are you? I have friends that are thin that have wore 32 s or so since they were like 16. Maybe you should just get in better shape and not worry about it!! I m sure you look great. But if you really want to.. Do cardiovasucular workouts.. that is the best way to loose fat. When you go running or swimming or just brisk walking, your body will take fat of the most fatty places first (for women usually butt, boobs, and upper thighs and hips) for men usually bellys. While exercizing, like 4-6 times a week, also do like 20 crunches in the morning and 20 at night and you will be loosing weight like no time. Guys loose weight really fast... Swimming is very good (: you dont really hurt your legs and it helps your blood flow and trains your breathing so when you do more exercises you wont get stitches as easily (if you ever get them.. i do sometimes and they REALLY hold me back) Also, il probs get attatcked for mentioning this but getting into a habit of chewing gum is quite useful... well it takes your mind off eating food as such and has been on the news about how sugar-free gum makes you thinner (and it did for me..) but in worst-case-scenarios your stomach will think its being given food and will activate more acid in the stomach which if i doesn t have anything to dissolve, it will eventually break up parts of the stomach lining causing stomach ulsers. i think thats rare though, ive never really heard of anyone with that i just heard it from my science teacher a few years back..x

go out and get soooooo wasted that in the morning you feel way too ill to eat again for the rest of the day. then your stomach will just shrink so your appetite is reduced and you can start a diet where you just don t eat much ever again. it always works!! :) oh yeah and theres a really good calories magazine in booths so you can keep an eye on what you eat.

Well I started off at 180 lbs after I had my daughter in March 2007. I am now at 125 lbs and ready to wear my size 4 wedding dress next week :) How I did it:1. watch the calories you eat. write them in a journal. so if you don t have enough calories for desert don t eat the desert. remember to lose one pound you have to eat 200 calories less then you r eating and you have to burn 200 calories. this can take a long time so exercise every day and write what you eat and the calories every day soon enough you will lose wieght trust me my mom has lost 20 pounds

There is no quick fix solution when it comes to being healthy and improving fitness. The best thing to stay fit and healthy is to change your lifestyle. This means eating a balanced diet of all the major food groups and eating nutritious foods. Also exercising is important. Joining a fun, new sports team or going walking everyday will help your endurance levels and help you build up muscle strength.You don t have to starve yourself and obsessively over exercise to be healthy because that isn t good for you at all. Simple as this your body needs about 1,200 to 2,000 calories aday to stay at the same weight. If you consume more than this.. then your body will store it as fat... if you eat less than this then you lose weight.. but if you starve yourself your body will store most of the food you take as fat.. and you dont want that... so dont starve yourself, ... so there are two ways you can do this either eat your daily intake of calories (1,500 to 2,000) and exercise, and the exercise will burn away the calories and so you lose weight... or you can eat just under the 1, 500 calories a day, and you will lose weight.... so the best thing to do is eat healthy food put do not consume more than 1,300 calories... and do a little exercise daily for about fifteen minutes each day.. this will make you lose the weight quickly.. i hope this helps ..

I exercise for years and still had a flabby tum, the only thing that worked for me was long slow running on a weekly basis, also long cycle rides.I would look carefully at what you eat,I found by cutting right down on starchy food like bread, potatoes,rice.I trade these type of foods for unprocessed foods like brown rice, pearl barley.Quinola.Takes a while to adjust your diet,and your exercise routine.I would wonder whether the Dance DVD S are high intensity work out s.I found lower internsity ,but for a long duration more effective a shifting flab.Long duration is from about 1hr 45 mins +.At about 60-75% effort.I thing taking pills is not half as much fun, if you enjoy dancing I d attend a dance weekender, Salsa is very good for keeping those hips trim.
