How to lose weight fast!? -

I really think i need to lose weigght.. because, im going to visit my family this summer and i don t want to be the outcast oout of all my families and friends.What type of food should i eat??snacks? my daily wating scedule/? How many times should i eat 3? 2? Oh my God. HElp me!!~~

This will probably not last for you, but if you have to do it fast, do this. I am assuming you have an event you have to tone down for, because I would not recommend the diet for a long term thing.First you cannot spot reduce, but you can tone certain areas. Also lie on your front and lift your legs up straight backwards three inches at first and then increase the hight and reps. if you can t do this lie face down over the end of your couch or bed and lift one leg straight backwards at a time until you can do the floor version. Heel raise... stand straight up and lift your heals off the ground with your toes and rest of your feet on the floor, repeat ten times working up the reps. Diet, if you want to lose fast NO CARBS.No bread, bagels, pasta, potatoes, sugar or sweets.Eat plenty of eggs, meat, fish, cheese, nuts. How can you lose weight fast? -

I have been drinking my 8 glasses of water a day since new years and from that I have lost about 6 or 7 pounds but I am wondering how some other simple things can help too.Also I have cut down my eating a bit and not many snacks either.I want to try to lose another 10 or 5.please give some advice =]

You need to eat lean meats (chicken, fish, turkey, lean beef) , low gi fruits (apples, bananas, pineapple, oranges), green veggies (broccoli, celery, green lettuce, spinach), only whole wheat breads (look on the package and see if the first ingredient is whole wheat flour, if it is it should be good unless it has high fructose corn syrup like Mrs Bairds does). Jillian Michaels from biggest loser has a great quote, before you eat your food ask yourself, does it have a momma or did it come from the ground? If not don t eat it. Eat 5 - 6 small meals a day, this will increase your metabolism and help you to not feel so hungry in between meals. It��s all about portion and calorie control regardless of what food you are eating, but remember cleaning up your diet and eating X amount of calories of lean good healthy foods instead of X amount of calories of candy bars (I know you are probably not eating 4 candy bars a day but its just an example) will help you lose it faster. The leaner you are eating the faster you will lose it, and you will get a toned healthy look instead of a skinny jiggly look. You also need to drink at least 8 glasses (8oz) of water a day. Sometimes hunger is mistaken for thirst so if you are hungry drink 8 oz of water and wait 30 minutes, if you are still hungry then eat a light healthy snack. Water also helps you feel fuller longer and helps flush out toxins that may prevent fat loss. Also allow your self a cheat day (but don��t go over board and eat everything in sight or like 5 cakes in that day). Running, walking, rollerblading, swimming are good cardio work outs. You can also get some at home videos. Get your self some 5 pound dumbbells or a gym member ship and do bicep curls, push ups, sit ups, squats, dead lifts, lunges, tricep over head extensions, chest presses, shoulder presses, etc. You can do most of this on your own if you just go and buy some free weights, but a gym membership is helpful as well. If you do end up getting a gym membership I would consult a personal trainer (most memberships come with a free session) they can show you what to do and come up with a meal plan for you... If you are losing more thane 2lbs a week, that you are losing it in an unhealthy fashion. What happens is you starve yourself, then when you go back to normal eating, you gain MORE weight than you originally weighed. Unfortunately their is no FAST way to lose fat. It s not really possible to spot reduce. The best thing for you to do would be to do some cardio exercise. If you don t exercise regularly start out by walking and increase your distance over time and get your heart rate up. You could also walk and then sprint for like 30 seconds and then walk for another minute and a half. That is interval training and it works great to get your heart rate up.As for being a vegetarian, you need to decide what kind of vegetarian you will be. Octo-lacto vegetarians will eat egg and milk products, octo vegans will eat egg but not milk products, and lacto vegans will eat milk but not egg. Then there is the other vegetarian who only eats plant foods. Do some research online to decide what kind of vegetarian you want to be. How can I lose weight fast...? -

I am not fat, but I could lose a little fat off my stomach and thighs. I don t like weight lifting or jogging. My idea of exersize is biking or walking. I don t seem to be losing much..But I walk daily for 2 hours. How can I lose weight off my stomach and thighs without having to do anything drastic like weight lifting which can injure the body, or sit ups which aren t good for the back???Please help!

If they re hurting your back, you aren t doing them correctly. Walking and leg-lifts are great for the thighs. As far as losing weight fast, you don t want to do that! Two pounds or so a week is the optimum amount to lose. Any faster, and it won t stay off.

Short of surgery, you re not going to lose a stomach in 2-3 montyhs (though you could go the distance in toning yourself there in that amount of time). The stomach area is sort of the Fort Knox of fat, only the most strenuous exercise will break that area down. Also, muscle gain is as permanent as muscle loss - short term gain can easily disappear - you really need to work long and hard to build up appreciable muscle.
